The introduction of a ubiquitous environment has realized commercial ubiquitous services in various industrial fields and government area. The central and/or local governments are demanding an appropriate investment evaluation model for ubiquitous service. Thus, this study develops and suggests an evaluation model for ubiquitous service by reflecting its characteristic of promoting public good, as well as its broad ripple effect on people. The investment evaluation model for ubiquitous service suggested by this study is based on Cost Benefit Analysis Method. Especially, the 'Benefit' is analyzed in two aspects; 'Economic Benefit', which shows the benefit that ubiquitous service providers to the overall local economy, and; 'Financial Benefit', which shows the profit of individual investors participating in the introduction of ubiquitous service. The investment evaluation model for ubiquitous service suggested by this study can be used by the central and/or local government during their evaluation for investment before introducing a ubiquitous service. Also, when introducing a ubiquitous service in public field, the model can be used to support the decision making of private businesses for investment. Finally, it can be used to promote and inform the expected benefits of introducing a ubiquitous service to local residents.

본 논문에서는 3차원 평가환류체계를 기반한 성과측정모델을 제안하며, 제안하는 평가모델을 이용하여 2008년과 2009년에 수행한 7개의 공공 u-IT 서비스의 사용자 만족도와 활용도를 분석한다. 본 연구를 통해, 당초 공공 u-IT 서비스 지원사업이 목표하였던 대부분의 연구목적을 달성하였음을 알 수 있었으며, 성과측정 및 분석결과는 향후 추진할 신규과제의 추진방향 제시한다.

Efficient service description and modeling methodologies are essential for dynamic service composition to provide autonomous services for users in ubiquitous computing environments. In our previous research, we proposed a 'u-service' ontology which is an abstract and structured concept for device operations in ubiquitous environments. One of the problems that we faced during the design process was that there are not enough standards to analyze the effectiveness of a u-service ontology. In this paper, we propose a quality evaluation model to facilitate the design process of a uservice ontology. We extract modeling goals and evaluation indicators based on the uservice description specification. We also present quality metrics to quantify each of the design properties. The experiment result of the proposed quality model shows that we can use it to analyze the design of u-service ontology from various angles. Also, it shows that the model can provide a guideline, and offer appropriate recommendations for improvements.

유비쿼터스 서비스(U-service)를 제공하는 시스템은 서비스 생존성이 취약한 환경을 극복해야하는 네트워크 시스템이다. 네트워크 시스템의 생존성은 시스템 구성요소에 장애나 사고, 물리적 공격이 발생하더라도 시스템에 부여된 본연의 서비스를 중단 없이 제공할 수 있는 시스템 능력으로 정의하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 비잔틴 장애를 초래하는 의도적인 사이버테러가 네트워크 시스템에 가해졌을 때의 상황을 고려하여, 사용자 입장에서 서비스 생존성을 정량적으로 평가 할 수 있는 프레임워크를 제시한다. 본 논문에서는 무선 LAN 기반의 Jini 시스템을 생존성 정량화 모델의 예로 삼는다. 그리고 Jini 시스템이 제공하는 U-service의 생존성을 평가하기 위한 연속시간 마코프 모델을 제시하고 이를 토대로 사용자가 서비스에 접근할 수 없는 확률(blocking probability)로서 U-service 생존성을 평가하는 방안을 제시한다.

현재 국내에서는 정부 및 지자체를 중심으로 u-City를 도시의 핵심 성장 동력으로 인식하고 활발하게 사업을 추진 중에 있다. 그러나 도시의 목표나 특성에 적합한 서비스 도출을 위한 선정방법이 미흡하여, 한정된 예산과 도시 전 분야에 걸친 과다한 서비스, 복잡한 이해관계로 인한 사업비용과 시간지연, 낮은 서비스 수준 등의 문제를 안고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 새로운 u-서비스군 선정방법론을 제안하고 있다. 제안한 u-서비스군 선정방법론은 법 제도나 기술제약의 엄격한 적용과 다양한 변수를 통해 서비스군의 가치를 산출하였고, 서비스군의 다양한 조합으로부터 최적의 서비스군을 선정할 수 있는 가치평가모형(u-SEM)을 제시하고 있다. 특히 본 모형은 사업추진상의 복잡도로 나타나는 비우호적이고 영향력이 높은 이해관계자의 수를 가치평가의 중요한 요인으로 포함하였고, 궁극적으로 복수의 u-서비스군 대안을 경제효과, 복잡성, 구축비용 등으로 종합 평가할 수 있는 방법론을 제시하고 있다.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 사용자에게 서비스를 자동으로 제공하기 위해 사용되는 동적 서비스 합성은 효과적인 서비스 기술 및 모델링 기법이 전제되어야 한다. 이를 위해 이전 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 환경 내의 기기의 기능을 추상화한 'u-서비스'라는 개념을 제안하였고, 온톨로지로 구조화하는 메커니즘과 u-서비스의 특성을 표현하기 위한 기술 규격을 정립한 바 있다. 하지만 u-서비스 온톨로지 설계시에 효율성을 검증하기 위한 체계나 기준을 제공하지는 못하고 있다. 또한 기존의 소프트웨어 제품이나 컴퓨팅 시스템의 품질 평가 모델은 유비쿼터스 서비스의 특성을 고려하지 못하므로 직접 적용하기에도 적합하지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이전 연구에서의 u-서비스 온톨로지 구축 방법론을 바탕으로 효과적인 유비쿼터스 서비스 온톨로지를 설계하기 위한 품질 평가 모델을 제안한다. 유비쿼터스 서비스 온톨로지의 특성을 반영하여 모델링 목표와 설계 단계에서의 평가 지표를 도출하고 각 품질 속성을 정량화하기 위한 메트릭을 정의한다. 이전 연구에서 구축한 u-서비스 온톨로지에 적용한 결과, 제안한 품질 평가 모델을 통해 유비쿼터스 서비스 온톨로지의 적합성을 다각도로 분석하고 설계 개선을 위한 모델링 원칙을 제시할 수 있음을 보였다.

기존의 유비쿼터스 상거래에 대한 연구는, 대부분이 상품을 판매하는 매장 공간을 배경으로 하는 연구인 반면, 서비스 공간에서의 유비쿼터스 상거래에 대한 연구는 드물게 이루어져왔다. 본 논문은 서비스 공간에서의 유비쿼터스상거래 사례(맥도날드의 터치오더 서비스)를 분석하고, 현실 사례의 한계를 극복하는 방법으로서, 서비스 공간에서 새로운 가치창출을 할 수 있는 유비쿼터스 상거래 비즈니스 모델인 Media Embedded Place 비즈니스 모델을 소개하였다. Media Embedded Place 비즈니스 모델은 비교적 이동성이 없는 테이블이나 게시판과 같은 사물에 태그를 부착하여 서비스를 제공하거나 상거래를 발생시키고 그 대가로 공간을 제공한 사업자가 인센티브를 취하는 비즈니스 모델을 일컫는데, 이 모델을 위한 시나리오와 애플리케이션들을 분석하고, Tag-Evaluation 모델을 이용한 수익성 분석 사례를 설명하였다.

유비쿼터스 기술의 보급이 본격화됨에 따라 민간 주도적 u-서비스 개발이 활발히 추진되고 있다. 특히 다양한 생활공간으로 구성되어 상호 시너지효과를 목표로 개발되는 복합단지는 차별적인 서비스 제공을 목적으로 유비쿼터스 기술을 적극적으로 활용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 복합단지에 적용 가능한 u-서비스 개발 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 복합단지의 u-서비스는 궁극적으로 수익성을 목적으로 하기 때문에 서비스 사용자가 유비쿼터스 기술로 제공되는 서비스로 인해 보다 많은 상거래 행위를 할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 복합단지 u-서비스 모델 개발 방법론은 우선적으로 u-서비스 개발을 위한 다양한 관점을 정의하고 이와 같은 관점들의 교차점에서 구체적인 u-서비스 요소를 도출하는 방법을 사용하고 있다. 다음으로 도출된 u-서비스 요소를 구성하여 u-서비스 풀(pool)을 설계하고 평가를 통해 최종적으로 도입할 u-서비스를 선정하는 과정으로 u-서비스 모델을 개발하고 있다. 제시된 u-서비스 개발 방법론은 복합단지의 u-서비스 풀을 체계적으로 발굴할 수 있는 기반을 제시함으로써 성공적인 복합단지형 u-서비스 구현에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

Multiplex is a representative culture facility of citizens. Therefore, a lot of researches and investment on multiplex are carried out to improve benefits of service suppliers and users. Especially, focused on main services of a theatre such as ticket booking and issuing within multiplex, examination of tickets, admission information of movie screens and screening information inquiry, improvement activities are carried out. However, it is not enough to evaluate on what efficiency the above efforts have in the viewpoint of customer benefits and business. Therefore, this study analyzed value and limit of the newest service of multiplex applying the existing ubiquitous concept(u-multiplex service), and proposed a model and a plan for improving the existing services. The study interviewed with specialists in the related field and applied workshop-shape group interview to 110 university students and simulated service models. The contribution of the study is to analyze the value and limit of the existing multiplex service objectively, and to propose a new service model and plan to improve its limitation. In the future, the study plans to research on service models by extending space and functional roles of multiplex to the whole subsidiary facilities including movie screens.

클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경은 웹을 기반으로 한 응용분야의 새로운 트랜드이다. 이는 많은 사용자들이 쉽게 인터넷을 통해 자원을 할당받고 서비스를 지원받을 수 있는 IT 비즈니스 모델이라 할 수 있다. 또한 u-러닝은 인터넷 기반 학습의 효율성을 극대화한 모델이다. 따라서 본 연구는 이를 인터넷 기반 학습에 응용하는 u-러닝 교수 학습 모형의 설계를 제시하고자 한다. 제안된 교수 학습 모형은 u-러닝에 맞도록 준비, 계획, 수집, 학습 진행, 분석 및 평가, 피드백의 7단계로 구성하였다. 이는 클라우드 u-러닝 서버와 클라우드 LMS를 두어 처리 및 관리하도록 하였으며, 학습자의 이동형 기기 모델의 인식을 위하여 이동형 기기 메타데이터를 두도록 하였다.
