센서네트워크 시스템을 응용한 u-Healthcare 시스템 기술에 대한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이를 사람이 아닌 동물에 적용시켜 애완동물의 상태를 웹을 통하여 관리할 수 있는 uPetCare(Ubiquitous Pet-Care System)을 설계 및 구현하였다. uPetCare System의 주된 기능으로는 1) 센서를 통한 데이터의 수집, 2) 멀티-홉 통신 3) 싱크 노드에서의 데이터 압축(compression) 및 정리(aggregation), 4) 웹 서버에서의 데이터 저장, 5) AJAX 기술을 통한 실시간 정보 확인 6) 상황 인지 시스템을 통한 펫 관리 시스템을 포함한다.

This paper presents a novel method to design and implement mobile u-health system by defining the essential elements of mobile healthcare services. We choose common service elements for the proposed u-healthcare scheme and design the service platform. Especially we focus on automatic feces or urine sensing u-care scheme to prove the effectiveness of our platform. We construct the system with sensing part with a manikin and a diaper, wireless communication part with feces or urine sensing data, and coordinator system based on the u-health platform defined in this paper. Experimental results show that our scheme is useful in the area of u-care service for the handicapped, the elderly, and patients who can hardly move by themselves. In addition the designed scheme offers a realized u-care scheme with the purpose of advanced developing tools for application or service developers.

본 논문에서는 인간의 신체와 관련된 상황정보를 기반으로 한 u-헬쓰케어 시스템 설계 연구이다. 최근 운동 클럽 에서 전문 트레이너와 함께 체계적인 운동을 하는 것이 웰빙에서 이슈가 되었지만, 그중에서 기존의 헬쓰케어 시스템은 단지 고정된 시스템에서 현재 자신의 혈압과 맥박, 심전도, 근전도 등의 일반적인 정보만 제공하기 때문에 장시간이나 장기간의 운동을 하기에는 시간이 지날수록 흥미도가 떨어지고, 사용자 자신에 맞는 관리를 하기가 어렵다. 본 논문에서 개발된 u-헬쓰케어 시스템은 센서 네트워크와 DB를 접목한 상황 인식 시스템을 이용하여 자신의 현재 상태와 운동 진행 상태를 분석한 맞춤 운동을 할 수 있는 상황인식 기반의 서비스를 제공하는 u-헬쓰케어 시스템을 설계 개발 하였다.

현재 우리나라가 겪고 있는 고령화는 사회복지서비스의 질적, 양적 확대를 요구하고 있다. 특히, 노령인구의 급격한 증가는 노인과 관련된 다양한 복지 및 의료수요를 유발하여 이에 대한 해결대응이 시급한 실정이다. 또한, 우리나라의 IT기술력은 하루가 다르게 발전하고 있고, 특히 유비쿼터스 분야중 하나인 U-Health의 연구가 활발히 진행 중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 U-Health 기술을 활용하여 노인 Care시스템 모델에 대해 연구하였다. 노인전용 주거환경의 Care시스템에 대해 설계하고, 설계한 내용을 중심으로 유비쿼터스 기술을 접목한 노인 Care시스템에 대해 연구하였다. 기존 사회기반모델과 IT기술을 융합한 노인 Care시스템과 모바일기기간의 연동으로 Care서비스 어플리케이션을 제공하여, 기존의 Care 및 의료수요의 문제점을 해결할 수 있을 것이다.

Healthcare is a research field suitable for applying the recent ubiquitous techniques. As a test system, we developed a kind of CDSS (Clinical Decision Support System) running in ubiquitous environment. called as 'uCDSS'. The uCDSS is a core system of the ubiquitous healthcare and is composed of some 'uMLMs(Ubiquitous Medical Logic Modules)'. The uMLMs based on the class in C# programming language could be reused in development of CDSS, or another EHR system running in .NET environment. As a test system, we developed the DM(Diabetes Mellitus knowledge system using ASP.NET. This system shows the potential of C# class-based uMLMs and the extensibility to any .NET development project.

최근 정보 통신 기술의 발전과 삶의 질 향상으로 개인의 건강관리 응용 서비스에 대한 다양한 연구가 활발히 진행 되고 있다. 더구나, 유비쿼터스 환경 및 의료 기술의 발달과 더불어 양질의 삶을 위한 u-헬스케어 서비스에 대한 수요가 급증함에 따라 u-헬스케어 분야가 새로운 성장 산업으로 부상하고 있다. 특히 가정을 떠나 많은 시간을 바다에서 보내야 하는 상선승무원은 신체적으로는 물론이고 정신적으로도 다른 직업보다 스트레스가 많고 조속한 시간 내에 적절한 의료 서비스를 받지 못할 확률이 높기 때문에, 선박에서의 u-헬스케어 시스템의 필요성이 대두된다. 본 논문에서는 선원들의 건강을 관리하기 위하여 일반적인 건강관리 지수 모델인 SF-36를 보완하여 보다 객관적이고, 정확한 u-건강 웰빙 지수를 도출하는 방법을 제안한다. 또한 건강 지수에 따라 적당한 운동 프로그램, 식단 컨텐츠를 제공할 수 있는 u-건강 웰빙 지수 서비스 시스템을 설계하였다.

Purpose: We analyzed the need for home care services and awareness of U-healthcare in nurses of the Catholic Parish Home Care Center to link the ubiquitous health care system and the home care. Methods: We recruited 46 nurses from a home care center in the catholic parish of the C medical center from April 4th to June 8th, 2007. Results: The highest needs were 'assessment and diagnosis of the problem', 'management of hypertension & diabetes patients', 'counseling of the patient', and 'counseling of major caregiver and family problems'. Therapeutic nursing showed the highest needs in bedsore care. Nurses want hospital medical records available through the ubiquitous health care system. Conclusion: Home care services are supported from the agency, with high needs in assessing and diagnosing the problem, counseling, and managing of hypertension & diabetes patients. Education and public relations efforts on the U-healthcare system should improve system awareness.

본 논문에서는 개인 건강관리를 위한 케어 시스템을 설계하고 구현된 내용이 기술되었다. 설계된 핸드헬드케어 시스템은 802.11 무선 망 환경에서 embedded VC++4.0, PocketPC2003 SDK로 구현되었으며, 구현된 시스템이 케어 관리 정보의 수집을 위한 U 헬쓰 케어 시스템의 연구에 충분한 유용성을 가진다고 생각한다. 제안된 시스템은 건강 진단을 위한 케어 관리모듈, 개인 인적 사항 모듈, 데이터 전송 모듈, 클리닉을 위한 영상 정보 관리 모듈 등으로 구성되어 있다. 또한 응급 시 의료 정보 전송기능은 무선랜 프로토콜 방식과 시리얼 통신을 이용하여 구현되었다.
