맞춤형 야구복의 효율적 생산관리를 위한 공정관리 분석 (Process Control Analysis for Efficient Production Management of Customized Baseball Uniforms)

  • To increase the productivity and product quality of customized baseball jerseys, this study developed a multi-variable system for a production process that efficiently controls diverse production management factors. The working time was measured through the establishment of a standard process where skilled workers and Chinese factory workers manufactured 5 sets of the same basic design jerseys. Based on the measured working time (1,136 seconds/per unit), the multi-variable process control system was developed, where hourly production management is possible according to the involved workers and equipment types. Each process was assigned accoding to the production management factors for a total of 28 standard processes. The processes were developed based on consideration of work characteristics according to the order of needlework of open-type set baseball jerseys with sleeves(the basic design of baseball jerseys)to result in a customized production system structure that could be set up with multi-variables. As a result, a total 12 types of systems were developed in consideration of the personnel involved and the number of equipments. The optimal production management system (with the highest efficiency compared to the number of workers)was A-2, B-1, C-1. D-2, E-2, F-1, and G-1. This system had extremely high efficiency and showed 99% assignment efficiency for the 7-person team. Though not optimal, possible process assignment for each working personnel is proposed as a reserve process in case work modification is inevitable due to malfunctions and the absence of equipments.

BCP분석을 통한 인천지역 작업불능일 변화 연구 (A Study on the Change of Non-Working Days of Incheon Metropolitan through BCP Analysis)

  • 건설공사 중 옥외에서 수행되는 공종은 기온, 강우, 풍속 등 기후요소에 의한 작업불능일이 다수 발생한다. 특히, 지구온난화로 인하여 공기산정 시 날씨예측이 어려워져 공기지연 등의 피해는 좀처럼 줄지 않고 있는 실정이다. 이 연구에서는 BCP분석을 통해 인천지역의 연평균기온, 연평균 최고기온 및 연평균 최저기온의 급격한 변화시점을 파악하였으며, 그 시점을 기준으로 하절기 및 동절기 작업불능일 증감추이를 비교분석하였다. 그 결과, 1988년과 1998년에 연평균기온이 급격하게 변화한 것으로 나타났다. 그 두 시점 이후에 하절기의 작업불능일은 증가하고 동절기의 작업불능일은 감소하는 경향이 뚜렷하게 나타났다.

기혼남녀근로자의 일-생활 만족유형화 연구: 직장내 휴가관련 가족친화제도를 중심으로 (Types of Work-Life Satisfaction among Married Wage Workers: Focusing on Family-Friendly Leave Policies in the Workplace)

  • The purpose of this research was, first, to classify work-life satisfaction among married wage workers aged 20-59 years into several distinct types based on two dimensions of work and life, using data from the 20th(2017) wave of the Korean Labor & Income Panel Study. Second, the study aimed to assess the differences in socio-demographic characteristics (sex, age, educational level, average monthly income), and workplace-related variables (weekly working hours, full-time employment, job stability, business type, family-friendly leave policies) by work-life satisfaction type. Accordingly, four types of work-life satisfaction were identified: work-life satisfaction, work-life dissatisfaction, work satisfaction, and life satisfaction. There was a significant difference in the type of work-life satisfaction among married waged workers based on sex, age, educational level, and average monthly income. Additionally, there was a significant difference in the type of work-life satisfaction for all workplace-related variables, namely, weekly working hours, full-time employment, job stability, business type, and family-friendly leave policies. In particular, proportionally higher values of work-life satisfaction were evident among the workers in companies with family-friendly leave policies such as paid leave, menstrual leave, maternity leave, childcare leave, and family events leave, whereas there was a high rate of work-life dissatisfaction among the workers in companies without family-friendly leave policies.

컨베이어 라인 변경시 U - 라인 설계의 효율적 방안 - K전자 사례를 중심으로 - (The Design of the U-Shaped Assembly Line to Replace Conveyor Systems)

  • Generally, the assembly system relied on conveyor lines is efficient for mass production. But it is not efficient when the product types are often varying and their lot sizes are small. Especially, it is much inefficient for the assembly lines for the electronic products whose types are varying very often. This paper suggests the design of U-shaped assembly lines to replace the existing conveyor systems. The assembly line for the mini-cassette production is dealt with as a case study. The proposed procedure was successfully applied for the design of U-shaped lines. The developed method resulted in the improvement of the productivity such as the decrease of the man power and the cycle time, and the increase of the line utility.

Comparisons of Traffic Collisions between Expressways and Rural Roads in Truck Drivers

  • Background: Truck driving is known as one of the occupations with the highest accident rate. This study investigates the characteristics of traffic collisions according to road types (expressway and rural road). Methods: Classifying 267 accidents into expressway and rural road, we analyzed them based on driver characteristics (age, working experience, size of employment), time characteristics (day of accident, time, weather), and accident characteristics (accident causes, accident locations, accident types, driving conditions). Results: When we compared the accidents by road conditions, no differences were found between the driver characteristics. However, from the accident characteristics, the injured person distributions were different by the road conditions. In particular, driving while drowsy is shown to be highly related with the accident characteristics. Conclusion: This study can be used as a guideline and a base line to develop a plan of action to prevent traffic accidents. It can also help to prepare formal regulations about a truck driver's vehicle maintenance and driving attitude for a precaution on road accidents.

유연근로시간제 개선에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Flexible Working Hours)

  • 근로계약은 형식상으로는 노동력상품과 임금의 교환관계로서 나타나지만, 단순한 물물교환의 차원을 초월하는 것이기 때문에 경제학적으로 노동력상품과 화폐의 교환관계로서 '매매'로서 파악하는 것도 가능하고 '임대차'로 파악할 수도 있다. 상품교환관계를 법적인 측면에서 보면, 노동력과 임금의 교환관계를 합법적으로 지지하고 그것에 구속력을 부여하여 강제화하는 법적인 장치가 계약이다. 이러한 근로계약은 임금을 수령하고, 임금의 수령의 반대급부로 일정한 시간을 사용자의 지휘·감독하에 두는 관계를 가져오게 하였다. 근로시간은 자신의 노동력을 사용자의 처분권하에 둔 종속시간이기 때문에 장시간의 근로는 근로자의 건강과 안전을 위해할 수 있고, 더 나아가 인간으로서 누려야 할 가치를 침해하는 행위가 될 수 있음으로 그 규제가 필요하다고 할 것이다. 근로시간의 단축은 인간의 생체적 한계를 설정하고, 확대 재생산을 할 수 있도록 생산적 측면에서 근로자의 문화에 대한 향유와 인간으로서 삶의 질을 확보하는 사회적인 측면에서 단축이 필요하지만, 사용자의 기업 경영상의 노동력 확보와 생산 활동 및 자본주의 국가에서 추구하는 것과 비교하여 이 둘의 양립을 할 수 있어야 한다. 근로시간은 개인에게서의 시간과 사회전체에서의 시간으로 볼 수 있고, 개인적인 차원에서 장시간 근로는 개인에게서의 시간은 줄어들게 되어 개인적 차원에서는 바람직하지 않지만, 사회전체적인 차원에서 생산 활동에 투입시간의 증대로 인한 생산물의 증가는 사회발전에 도움이 될 수 있다. 근로시간은 이러한 개인적 차원과 사회적 차원에서의 균형을 찾아간다는 측면에서 근로시간을 고찰하는 것이 필요하다. 근로시간의 규제방법이 근로시간의 시작과 근로시간의 종료에 대한 것으로 근로시간의 총량을 규제하는 것이었다면, 근로시간의 유연화, 탄력화는 근로시간의 총량을 1주 최대 52시간의 범위 내에서 범위를 한정하면서 기업의 새로운 업무의 출현에 따라 근로시간을 탄력적으로 배분하고 편성하는 것이 가능하도록 하는 근로시간의 질적인 규제방식이다. 이에 따라 근로시간은 단축하되 기업의 상황에 따른 유연근로시간제를 확대하여 시행하는 것이 필요하다. 이를 위하여 현재 6개월로 제한되어 있는 탄력적 근로시간제의 운용의 폭의 유연화와 사용자와 근로자간의 합의에 의한 선택적 근로시간제의 실 근로시간에 대한 처리, 정보통신 기술의 발전과 4차 산업혁명에 기반한 새로운 근로형태에 출현에 따른 재량근로시간의 대상 업무를 확대하는 것이 필요하다.

A GEE approach for the semiparametric accelerated lifetime model with multivariate interval-censored data

  • Multivariate or clustered failure time data often occur in many medical, epidemiological, and socio-economic studies when survival data are collected from several research centers. If the data are periodically observed as in a longitudinal study, survival times are often subject to various types of interval-censoring, creating multivariate interval-censored data. Then, the event times of interest may be correlated among individuals who come from the same cluster. In this article, we propose a unified linear regression method for analyzing multivariate interval-censored data. We consider a semiparametric multivariate accelerated failure time model as a statistical analysis tool and develop a generalized Buckley-James method to make inferences by imputing interval-censored observations with their conditional mean values. Since the study population consists of several heterogeneous clusters, where the subjects in the same cluster may be related, we propose a generalized estimating equations approach to accommodate potential dependence in clusters. Our simulation results confirm that the proposed estimator is robust to misspecification of working covariance matrix and statistical efficiency can increase when the working covariance structure is close to the truth. The proposed method is applied to the dataset from a diabetic retinopathy study.

업무용 건축물의 기계소방시설 배관 부속자재 요율 제시 (Suggestion of the Attached Piping Material Rate for the Mechanical Fire Protection Facilities in Office Buildings)

  • In generally, the estimation work regarding building mechanical service system in comparison with other architectural estimations is time-consuming, and the process is continuously getting more difficult because of the increased usage of the attached piping materials such as fittings and supports in addition to their complicated construction processes. In order to improve this problem, the Korean authority provides a simple method to estimate the attached material rate regarding the main piping material, which is the most time-consuming work in the architectural mechanical estimation. However, to be an applicable method on construction site, a proper conversion rate of the attached piping material is still required for the proposed method regarding building usage and working types. Therefore, the purpose of this research is the suggestion of the material and labor cost rate of the attached piping materials such as the fittings and supports by work types and fitting methods of indoor fire, sprinkler, and extinguishing gas piping work of mechanical fire protection facilities in office buildings that have been designed after 2010.

  • 본 연구는 산소결핍이 운전자에 미치는 영향을 여러 가지 모형으로 산소 테스트기로 실험하였다. 자동차 실내 유해물질 중 인체와 가장 밀접한 관련이 있는 산소의 농도와 소비량에 대하여 고찰하였고 아울러 산소가 생체내에서 소비되는 다양한 형태를 파악함으로써 본 연구에 대한 이해를 돕고자 한다. 이 시스템에서 고려되는 것은 운전자에게 건강상 유해를 일으키는 기체상 인자의 농도범위를 조사·연구하여 운전자가 얼마간의 운전후에 휴식을 실시거나 환기를 시켜야 한다는 것을 분석한다.
