This study aimed to investigate the difference in response to reading as shown in book reports by personality type and interest type. For this purpose, personality type analysis data, interest type analysis data, and book report data written in subject reading activities were collected from 81 third graders at D Science High School in Daejeon. Topic analysis was conducted on the collected book reports, and the probability of a topic being mentioned was statistically tested according to personality type (thinking type, feeling type) and interest type (investigative type, types other than investigative). Subsequently, the conceptual connection structure of words was measured by keyword network analysis, and the analysis results of topic modeling were complemented by the centrality index. As a result of the study, the topic regression analysis showed statistically significant differences between thinking type (T) and feeling type (F) in topic 2 (understanding and studying) and topic 3 (reading and thinking), and statistically significant differences between investigative type and non-investigative type in topic 2 (understanding and studying). The results of this study can be used as a basis for tailored book recommendations and personalized reading education.
This study aims to find out various users' diverse interior design needs for their housing and interior design through the personality, which is intrinsic and consistent traits of the individual. The survey research followed the literature reviews including personality studies and interior design assessments. 176 undergraduate and graduate students as controlled by age, sex, and major answered the questionnaire. Their housing and interior design attitudes, the semiotic assessment of interior design styles, and interior design preference were compared in accordance with four pairs of preference dichotomy of MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator): Extraversion -Introversion, Sensing-iNtuition, Thinking-Feeling, Judging-Perceiving. As a result, the framework of housing and interior design needs by the users' personality types are proposed. It shows specific needs for 16 types of personality based on eight preference dichotomy: extroversion-open, introversion-closed, sensing-functional, intuition-emotional, thinking-restricted, feeling-receptive, judging-simple, and perceiving-creative.

Various interaction techniques have been studied for providing the feeling of touch and improve immersion in augmented reality (AR) environments. Tangible AR interaction exploiting two types (product-type and pointer-type) of simple objects has earned great interest for cost-effective design evaluation of digital handheld products. When the sizes of markers attached to the objects are kept big to obtain better marker recognition, the pointer-type object frequently and significantly occludes the product-type object, which deteriorates natural visualization and level of immersion in an AR environment. In this paper, in order to overcome such problems, we propose tangible AR interaction using fingertip touch combined with small-sized markers. The proposed approach facilitates the use of convex polygons to recover the boundaries of AR markers which are partially occluded. It also properly enlarges the pattern area of each AR marker to reduce the sizes of AR markers without sacrificing the quality of marker detection. We empirically verified the quality of the proposed approach, and applied it in the process of design evaluation of digital products. From experimental results, we found that the approach is comparably accurate enough to be applied to the design evaluation process and tangible enough to provide a pseudo feeling of manipulating virtual products with human hands.

The purpose of this study was to determine if personality types affect apparel evaluation. Personality types was applied using Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(MBTI). The data were collected from 101 female using questionnaire to evaluate on apparel, and were analysed with factor analysis, Mann-Whitney test. Results revealed several significant differences with apparel evaluation to personality type. Extroversion and introversion had significant difference in fashion concern. Extroversion types were significantly evaluated fashion concern more than introversion types. Sensing and intuition had significant difference in conformity. Sensing types were significantly evaluated conformity more than intuition types. Thinking and feeling had significant difference in symbolism. Thinking types were significantly evaluated symbolism more than feeling types. Judging and perceiving had significant difference in conformity. Judging types were significantly evaluated conformity more than perceiving types.
When an aircraft is taxiing, excitation force is applied according to the shape of the road surface. The sprung mass acceleration caused by the excitation of the road surface negatively affects the feeling of boarding. This paper addresses the verification process of the semi-active control method applied to improve the feeling of boarding. The Magneto-Rheological damper landing gear model is employed alongside the control method. It is a Oleo-Pneumatic damper filled with a fluid having the characteristics of increasing yield stress when subjected to a magnetic field. The control method involves verifying Skyhook Control Type2 developed by Skyhook control. The Sinozuka white noise model that considers runway characteristics was employed for the road surface in the simulation. The runway road surface obtained through this model has stochastic characteristics, so the dynamic characteristics were analyzed by applying Monte-Carlo simulation. A dynamic analysis was conducted by co-simulating the landing gear model made by RecurDyn and the control method designed by Simulink. Simulation results show that the Skyhook Control Type2 method has the best control effect in the low speed range compared to the passive type (without control) and skyhook control.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the high school teachers' sexual knowledge, attitude and their need of sex education for the students in Seoul. These data were collected by questionnaire in Oct. 1989. The result was compared by the type of teacher (school health nurse and high school teacher), involving in sex education or not, age, marital status and religion. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1. The mean score of sexual knowledge of the school health nurses was higher than the high school teachers. (P<0.05) (the average correct answer rate:the school health nurses=80.85%, the high school teachers=62.65%)Female teachers who were involved in sex education got higher score than the male high school teachers and female teachers who were not. (P<0.05) The married female high school teachers got higher score than never-married. (p<0.05) 2. About the sexual attitudes, the respondents were asked in the Likert's four-point scale with 3 groups of questions that were anatomical and physiological terminology about sex, normal sexual life and immoral sexual life. About anatomical and physiological terminology about sex, they had a little positive feeling. (mean score= 2.62) The school health nurses and the male high school teachers had more positive feeling than the female. (P< 0.05) Also the aged and married male high school teachers had more positive feeling than others. (P<0.05) About normal sexual life, they had a little positive feeling and moderately permissive attitude. (feeling mean score=2.96, attitude mean score=3.23) The school health nurses and the male high school teachers had more positive feeling than the female. (P<0.05) And the male high school teachers had more permissive attitude than the female. (P<0.05) About immoral sexual life, they had strongly negative feeling and conservative attitude. (feeling mean score =3.49, attitude mean score=3.35) The school health nurses the female high school teachers had more negative feeling and conservative attitude than the male. (P<0.05) And the male protestant high school teachers had more conservative attitude than no-religion group. (P<0.05) 3. There was a weak correlation between sexual knowledge and attitude. 4. There was no significant difference about starting of sex education between the school health nurses and the high school teachers. (P>0.05) Generally, they answered that the starting of sex education about physical growth and development could bp given with the students' physical growth and development. But for the sex education about emotional and social development, they answered that the education should be given later than the emotional and social development of students. 62.1% of the school health nurses did sex education and 36.5% of the high school teachers did. The common contents of sex education were intersexual-fellowship(date), venereal disease and marriage. And the education about abnormal sex-behavior. divorce and sexual intercourse was given rarely.

Purpose: This study was to explore the relationship between personality type and learning attitude and academic achievement of nursing students. Method: 91 students were sampled from freshman in nursing school. Data were collected from April 2 to October 5 2007. Analysis of the results were carried out using SPSS win 12.0 for frequency, mean and standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation. Result: The result of MBTI test was that nursing students in this study showed extraversion(52.7%), sensing(82.4%), thinking(56.0%), judging(57.1%). Academic achievement according to personality was that only feeling(F) type students had significantly higher score of English than thinking(T) type students(p=.013). Learning attitudes according to personality were that sensing(S) type students had significantly positive attitude toward their college than intuition(N) type students (p=.016). And think(T) type students had significantly higher confidence of learning than feeling(F) type students. There was significant positive correlations between learning method and score of English, Fundamental Nursing, Anatomy(p<..05). Conclusions: Diagnosing personality can differentiate student's learning attitude. It is important to develop teaching-learning strategies according to their personality, which can help them to improve their academic achievement.
The purpose of this paper is to correspond to four-elements in astrology theory, an intellectual from ancient times, that show personality temperament among MBTI, a representative personality type test in modern times, furthermore, by examining 16 personality type cards in tarot, a play culture and fortune telling culture in which the four-element theory is integrated in symbols, it is a comparative consideration that connects the characteristics of the character types contained in them to the 16 personality types of MBTI. The four preferred types of MBTI are Extravesion(E) and Introversion(I), Sensing(S) and Intuition(N), Thinking(T) and Feeling(F), Judgment(J) and Perception(P). Among them, Western four-elements were able to respond to Fire, Water, Air, and Earth in the order of NF(iNtuitive Feeling Type), SF(Sensory Feeling Type), NT(iNtuitive Thinking Type), and ST(Sensory Thinking Type). This is a result that can be derived by comparing individual personality theory and MBTI temperament theory among the symbols contained in ancient astrological theories. And the classification of boys, knights, queens, and kings in the four classes of person cards could be divided according to the MBTI attitude index. The boy showed an adaptive introvert using I and P, the knight showed an adaptive extrovert using E and P, the queen showed a decisive introvert using I and J, and the king showed an adaptive extrovert using E and J.
The purpose of study was to evaluate effects for repetitive use of thumb according to two different input types (button and touch) of mobile phones. A total of eight young and healthy subjects (6 males and 2 females: $24.63{\pm}8.04$ years) volunteered, and force measurement on thumb using film type pressure sensor was carried out for an hour. Before the experiment De Quervain's syndrome test were performed to check the left and right muscles related with thumb motion and after measuring the pressing force fatigue feeling survey achieved. For a statistical analysis, 1-to-5 ranking scale was used to score the fatigue feeling. From the result of pressure measurement, forces acting on thumb in button type were 3.36 times (the right thumb) and 3.16 times (the left thumb) for the touch type. And the result of survey, fatigue by using the button type of mobile phone was largely triggered than by using touch type. The abductor pollicis brevis and the flexor pollicis brevis were found as common part of fatigue for repetitively using thumb during texting messages. In the further study, some quantitative fatigue comparisons for various input motions are required to analyze repetitive strain injury syndrome.

This study started with the aim of creating a parenting environment for raising children as a solution to the problem of low fertility. Communal housing is a type of housing where professional childcare environment and lives of family with children can be achieved in community space. It is an environment that supports the development of the child and life of family. However, there is no guidance system for planning such an environment. Therefore, this study aims to develop a pattern language for communal housing of families with children. The research method comes in two steps. First, the documents that provided pattern language and design guidelines about the environment of child and families with children were analyzed. Second, experts specialized in child education, women and family, environmental design were interviewed. As a result of analysis of characteristics of derived pattern language, convenience, safe feeling, comfortability in residential unit, movement, safe feeling, convenience in intermediate space convenience, safe feeling, control in community space were high. The pattern language of this study grafted the items that have proven to be important over a long period of time and the environmental design concepts for families with children in the community space. So it enabled differentiation from existing pattern language or design guidelines.
