The discussion of "new risks" in the field of social policy started to gain attention in the late 1990s and it is commonly argued that new risks are provoked by deindustrialization and/or globalization being more concentrated among the young, women and low skilled individuals. This study commences its inquiry with a conceptualization of labour market risk in an attempt to critically rethink the argument of new risk. A reevaluation of the concept is followed by an empirical investigation on the different types of risks and their changes by different degree. Eight-teen countries are selected in order to provide a comparative account to understand new risk. These are comparatively analyzed using the fuzzy-set ideal type approach to discover different types of social risks and to measure degrees of changes in relation to social risk. In sum, this paper aims to answer: what is new risk? and how do the characteristic of labour market risks differ in different post-industrial countries? The findings suggest that the types of risk are diverse and the speed or the directions of shift are also diverse.

This study used the original data from the Korea Employment Information Service for '2012 College Graduates' Occupation Route Survey'. The subjects of this study were 1,569 women in the science and engineering fields (649 engineering graduates, and 920 science graduates). The data was analyzed by frequency analysis, independent sample t tests, correlation analysis, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis using SPSS WIN 19.0. As a result, women with 4 years of college have higher job stability and job satisfaction than college students, but the reasons for major selection, university type, college location, and department. The results of this study are as follows. First, the effect of the variables on career satisfaction and job satisfaction was not statistically significant. In this paper, we analyzed the factors influencing the size of Korea Polytechnic as a public vocational education and training institution through analysis of demand, region, industry, and demand with established existing campus and new campus in Korea Polytechnic. By analyzing data on admission, training, and employment for 3 years out of 37 campuses, we have sampled 5 campuses by type of Korea Polytechnic, fused with the results derived from the literature analysis and in-depth analysis results, so that the regional campus will play a leading role and the direction of development. The selection of five campuses by type is a precedent study to analyze 37 campuses in the future. As a result of the study, the demand analysis through objective indicators such as the number of high school graduates, the number of employed persons, the presence of nearby industrial complexes, and policy variables is very important and reflects the reality well. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the demand through the objective indicators in decision making related to the new campus at the pre-analysis stage. In addition to the general data proposed in this paper, that is, common variables in all regions, it is important to consider the factors that can reflect local demand characteristics when considering specific locations.

This study analyzed the thoughts of college life of students enrolled in each admission process to determine the level of academic competency. The satisfaction level of university life was analyzed among university students who studied at Dongguk University in 2012-2017 and the results were compared with the difference in importance and concentration of university life. Finally, the differences in scholastic ability around GPA were analyzed and compared. The results showed that students with pre-school grades were more satisfied with their college life than those with regular admissions. Although satisfaction with education is high during college life, it has been shown to be unsatisfactory regarding scholarships that are closely related to life. In terms of the difference between importance and concentration of college life, the greatest concern was with finding employment after graduation, but in reality the students could not focus on the current situation, but focused only on the current situation of grades and teamwork. The final admission GPA also showed that pre-school students were higher than regular students, and were able to adjust quickly to their school life and affect their satisfaction. Overall, education policies and programs are needed to understand the overall thoughts of university life and supplement them.

And it also sought to look at whether the influence of old age anxiety varies with the subjective class consciousness of the elderly. Using the 14th data from the Korea General Social Survey (KGSS) in 2016, 1,041 adult males and females aged 18 years old were analyzed at the time of the survey. T-test, potential layer analysis (LCA), and multinomantic analysis of potential groups were conducted using the STATA14 and MPLUS 7 statistical programs. Finally, multi-regression analysis was performed to identify the moderate effect and effects among variables. According to the research, the types of social exclusion were three groups, followed by social exclusion group (49.3%), Multi-dimensional exclusion group (30.9%), and active social participation group (19.7%). The social exclusion group has the lowest possibility of economic, employment, and health exclusion, but the exclusion of formal and informal social activities seem to prominent, and the multi-dimensional exclusion group is more than 50% likely to experience exclusion in all areas. Active social participation are characterized by very active participation in informal social activities. The study measured a subway construction worker's Macpa stress by Heart Rate Variability measuring instrument and conducted a survey of Korean job stress from subway construction workers. Also, the study analyzed the relationship between Macpa stress index and Korean job stress result and suggested managing stress method for each item. According to National Statistical Office data, the first line subway in Seoul was started to open in 1974. The extended total length is 996 kilometers until 2019. Many aged workers are currently working at subway construction sites due to the avoidance of young workers since the past until now. It means that the elderly has a substantial portion among subway construction workers. The productivity has been adversely affected by health problems due to the aging of workers, job stress due to heavy work, and personal health problems. So, the regulation and policies on job stress health management are being strengthened. The data were measured Macpa stress by machine measuring heart rate variability and conducted Korean job stress survey(shortened) from Sa-sang to Ha-dan line Busan subway construction workers for analyzing the relationship. Independent variable were age, job duration, job position, employment type, working type in this study. Macpa's dependent variable was stress index and Korean job stress survey(shortened)'s dependent variables were job requirements, job autonomy, relationship conflict, job instability, organizational structure, inappropriate compensation, working place culture, and total score. SPSS 12.0 K Statistics Program was used for statistical analysis. Kruskal-wallis test, a nonparametric statistical analysis, was used because the data are difficult to be assumed as normal distribution. As a result, the paper indicated the significant correlation between Macpa stress index and Korean job stress(short version). The elderly workers presented higher Macpa index and higher job stress due to aging and heavy-duty work. The majority workers were daily workers who had unstable working condition and uncertainty about the future. The study suggested a manual that could reduce job stress for subway construction workers and future study deriving management tool through analyzing job stress factor is necessary.

In Korea, small and medium sized domestic enterprises(SMEs) play an pivotal role in the national economy, accounting for 99.9% of all enterprises, 87.9% of total employment, and 48.3% of production. and SMEs was driving a real force of the development of national economy in many respects such as innovation, job creation, industrial diversity, balanced regional development. Despite their crucial role in the national development, most of SMEs suffer from a lack of R&D capabilities and equipments as well as funding capacity. Public R&D institutes can provide SMEs with valuable supplementary technological knowledge and help them build technological capacity. so, In order to effectively support SMEs, government and public R&D institutes must be a priority to know about the factors influencing the performance related to technology transfer and technological collaborations. In particular, SMEs are not only taking up a large portion of the national economy, but also their influence in politics and economy so strong that raising the competitiveness of small and medium-sized companies is a national policy goal that must be achieved in order to achieve sustained economic growth. For this reason, it is necessary to look specifically at the relationship between concepts such as the environment, strategy, and organizational culture surrounding the enterprise to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs. The paper analyzes 665 companies to find out which organizational culture affects their performance by classification and type of business of SMEs. This study demonstrated that when SMEs seek consistency in their external environment, strategies, and organizational structure to maintain their continued competitiveness. According to three-way analysis of variance (3-way ANOVA) indicates that classification of industries in SMEs has statistically significant main effects, but the type of business and organizational culture do not have significant effects. However, the company's organizational performance (operating profit) of SMES were found to differ significantly in comparison between groups according to classification standards of industries, and therefore adopted some parts. In addition, an analysis of the effect of interaction between the three independent variables of small and medium-sized enterprises has shown that there are statistically significant interaction effects among classification, types of business, and organizational cultures. The results shows that there is an organizational culture suitable for each industry classification and type of business of an entity, and is expected to be used as a basis for establishing promotion policies related to the incubation and commerciality of small and medium-sized venture companies in the future.
