The educational benefits and potential of XR as a new medium are well recognized. However, there are still limitations in understanding the specific effects of XR compared to the more widely utilized representation of images on computer monitors. This study therefore aims to demonstrate the differences in effectiveness between the two technologies and to draw implications from a cognitive comparison of three-dimensional objects represented on a flat surface and virtually. The study was conducted a quantitative research method with an experiment involving two independent groups, and the results were tested using regression analysis. The results showed that for low-level, two-dimensional objects, the computer monitor method may be more effective, but above a certain level of complexity, the effectiveness of learning through the monitor tends to decrease rapidly. On the other hand, the group that used extended reality technology showed relatively high comprehension compared to the monitor group even as the complexity increased, and in particular, unlike the monitor group's rapidly decreasing comprehension level, the extended reality technology group showed a trend of decreasing comprehension with the level of complexity, suggesting the potential for compatibility and predictability in the use of technology.

The purpose of this study is to understand what two models of SOLO taxonomy and van Hiele theory suggest and find out what relation there is between the category system of the SOLO taxonomy and the thinking level of the van Hiele theory. The van Hiele theory describes in line of ranking level so that it may increase the teaching effects by putting together a class, which takes into consideration the students thoughts. The SOLO taxonomy focused on the response mode of the students rather than the thinking level or the developmental stage of them to pursuit the method that can describe the students understanding in depth quality-wise. Although the SOLO taxonomy and the van Hiele model seem to have different form and character from outside in terms of their goals, a closer examination reveals that the two stances have much in common and that the models are complementary. Although the van Hiele placed more focus on the thoughts, because the conclusion was based on the students responses, the van Hiele theory can be interpreted within the structure identified in the SOLO model. In this study, we have tried to understand how the response structure form the SOLO taxonomy and the thinking level of the van Hiele theory are related, based on the studies of Pegg and Davery1998). If you briefly look at them, there are following corresponding relation between the SOLO taxonomy and the van Hiele theory. a) The relational level(R) in iconic moe is van Hiele level 1. b) The multisturctural level(M$_2$) in the second cycle of concrete-symbolic mode is van Hiel level 2. c) The relation level(R$_2$) in the second cycle of concrete-symbolic mode is van Hiele level 3. d) The unistructural level(U$_2$) in the second cycle of formal mode is van Hiele level 4. e) The postformal mode is van Hiele levle 5. Though it would be difficult to conclude that these correspondences were perfectly done, if you look at their relation, you can see that the learning process of the students were not carried out uniformly. Therefore, by studying the students response structure, using the SOLO taxonomy, and identifying the learning cycle and understand the geometrical concept more in depth.

The two-way balanced one-level rotation design has been discussed (Park, Kim and Choi, 2001), where the two-way balancing is done on interview time in monthly sample and rotation group. We extend it to three-way balanced multi-level design under the most general rotation system. The three-way balancing is accomplished on interview time not only in monthly sample and rotation group but also in recall time. We present the necessary condition and rotation algorithm which guarantee the three-way balancing. We propose multi-level composite estimators (MCE) from this design and derive their variances and mean squared errors (MSE), assuming the correlation from the measurements of the same sample unit and three types of biases in monthly sample.

The major purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between parents divorce and childrens peer-attachment. For this purpose, 79 elementary school children whose parents divorced answered the questionnaire which asked about the length of period after parents divorce, present family type, and childrens peer-attachment. The results showed that boys had lower communication level and higher estrangement level than girls among children who had experienced parents divorce, that children who passed more than two years after parents divorce had lower communication level than children who passed less than two years after parents divorce, and that children from single father family had higher estrangement level than children from step parents family.

Eigenvalue reduction schemes approximate the lower eigenmodes that represent the global behavior of the structures. In the previous study, we proposed a two-level condensation scheme (TLCS) for the construction of a reduced system. And we have improved previous TLCS with combination of the iterated improved reduced system method (IIRS) to increase accuracy of the higher modes intermediate range. In this study, we apply previous improved TLCS to multi-level sub-structuring scheme. In the first step, the global system is recursively partitioned into a hierarchy of sub-domain. In second step, each uncoupled sub-domain is condensed by the improved TLCS. After assembly process of each reduced sub-eigenvalue problem, eigen-solution is calculated by Lanczos method (ARPACK). Finally, Numerical examples demonstrate performance of proposed method.

This paper deals with the idea to replace the usual high-level sine sweep test on shaker at system level, very severe, by a low level one completed by a transient test in the same configuration, in order to be more representative of the real environment, thus limiting over testing and improving the payload comfort. The problem of the transient test specification is first discussed. The proposed solution is to derive from LV/SC coupled analyses a shock response spectrum corresponding to two damping ratios. Then, the question of adequate shock synthesis is tackled. A new method with a given spectrum is considered for better potential and accuracy than the usual wavelets. A campaign on the Intespace bi-shaker devoted to system level showed its capability to perform the resulting test with one spectrum. First investigations to extend this approach to two spectra are in progress.

In the present study, a least square weighted residual method and Taylor-Galerkin method were formulated and tested for the discretization of the two hyperbolic type equations of level set method; advection and reinitialization equations. The two approaches were compared by solving a time reversed vortex flow and three-dimensional broken dam flow by employing a four-step splitting finite element method for the solution of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. From the numerical experiments, it was shown that the least square method is more accurate and conservative than Taylor-Galerkin method and both methods are approximately first order accurate when both advection and reinitialization phase are involved in the evolution of free surface.

본 논문에서는 3-Level Vienna Converter를 간단히 제어 하기 위한 단일 반송파 비교 방식의 전압제어 방법을 제안 한다. 제안된 전압 제어 방식은 Two-Level 전압 변조 방식의 상전압 지령과 단자 전압 지령은 그대로 사용하고, 삼각파 비교부만 비엔나 정류기에 적합하게 단일 반송파를 이용한 방식으로 바꿔 SVPWM을 간단하게 구현할 수 있으며, 기존의 Two-Level 컨버터에서 적용하던 다양한 선형 변조 및 과변조 방식 등 전압제어 알고리듬과 전류제어 알고리듬 등을 Three - Level 컨버터에 쉽게 적용 할 수 있다.

It is generally recognized that Video On Demand (VOD) service will become a promising interactive service in B-ISDN. We consider a hierarchical two level network architecture for VOD service. The first level consists of connected Local Video Servers(LVSs) in which a limited number of high vision programs are stored. The second level has one Central Video Server(CVS) containing all the programs served in the network. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the network traffic and to propose the storage policy for LVSs. For this purpose, we present an analysis of program storage amount in each LVS, transmission traffic volume between LVSs, and link traffic volume between CVS and LVSs, according to changing the related factors such as demand, the number of LVSs is also presented on the basis of the tradeoffs among program storage cost, link traffic cost, and transmission cost.

In Experiment 1, two hundred ten hatched broiler chickens(Ross) were assigned to seven dietary treatments for 5weeks. Each treatment was consisted of 3 replications with 10 birds per replication. Control diet was formulated 22%CP and 3,150kcaIME/kg for starter diet, 19%CP, 3,200kca1ME/kg for finisher diet. Euglena gracilis was added to control diet at the level of 0.25, 0.5, 1.0% and Euglena bleached(DHA enriched) at the level of 0.5, 1.0, 2.0% in the diet. 0 Experiment 2, two hundred fifty hatched broiler chickens(Ross) were assigned to five dietary treatments: T1; control, T2: T1 + Euglena gracilis(DHA enriched)0.5%, T3; T1 + Euglena gracilis(DHA enriched)1.0%, T4: T1 + Euglena bleached(DHA enriched)0.5%,T5: T1 $.$Euglena bleached(DHA enriched)1.0%. In Experiment 1, 2.0% Euglena bleached treatment showed highest DHA level in breast muscle(P<0.05), In Experiment 2, 1.0% Euglena bleached treatment showed highest EPA, Lignoceric acid and DHA level in breast muscle(P<0.05).
