  • In this paper, a current fed type Push-Pull high frequency inverter which have used in the past, proposed self tunning circuit. Also, theoretical analysis introduced which use normalization, and a several characteristics or circuit is estimated. Further, a purposed control circuit based on self tunning system is confirmed to be performance by experiment.

  • A rotor flux error-based approach for correcting the rotor time constant estimation used in the slip frequency calculator of indirect field oriented controller is presented in this paper. The controller was derived from the d-q induction machine model. Slip frequency gain is dependent on the machine parameter errors. And parameter errors result in rotor flux error. Thus, estimated rotor flux is compared to commanded rotor flux. The error between them is used for the estimation of rotor time constant. Simulation results which demonstrate the performance of this approach are presented.

  • In this paper, a monolithic VCO has been designed for Wireless Local Area Network(WLAN) applications. The differential form VCO is constructed using positive feedback with capacitor and phase shift for low phase noise performance. The VCO shows the phase noise of -92.725 dBc/Hz at an offset frequency of 10KHz and the tunning range of 5.822~6.154GHz.

  • To demonstration the efficiency of fuzzy logic controller, we carried out simulation with a automobile's transfer function. First, we designed the PID controller by using Ziegler-Nichols tunning method. Second, we calculated time response for each controller, then we compared the speed patterns of fuzzy controlled system and PID controlled system. Also we compared the difference of input variable. By comparing two controller's response, we can confirm the merit of fuzzy controller about comfortability. Fuzzy controller can reduce input changing frequency.

  • The experimental study was carried out to investigate the stability and the performance characteristics of the aero-valved pulsating combustion system with maximum operating capacity of 60KW. The effect of geometry of combustion system on the stable condition, the flammability limit, the total pressure oscillation amplitude, and the operating frequency can be identified, and the maximum turn-down-ratio is obtained up to 3.3. The total pressure oscillation amplitude can be controlled by tunning the length of the air inlet pipe. The empirical equation with which the operating frequency can be approximated is proposed and the discrepancy is within 5%. The volumetric efficiency is identified to be one of the important parameters determining the upper flammability limit and the maximum value of which is approximately 22%.

  • The proposed differential LC cross-coupled VCO is implemented in InGap/GaAs HBT process for an adaptive Global Positioning system(GPS) application. Two filtering capacitors are used at the base of output buffer amplifiers at the both sides of the core m order to improve phase noise characteristics. The VCO produced a phase noise of -133 dBc/Hz at 3MHz offset frequency from the carrier frequency of 1.489GHz and the second harmonic suppression is significantly suppresed up to -49dBc/Hz in simulation result. The three pairs of BC diodes are integrated m the tank circuit to increase the VCO Tunning range.

  • A 900 71Hz RF band-pass amplifier for wireless communication systems is designed and fabricated. HSPICE simulation results show that the amplifier can achieve a tunable center frequency between 880 MHz and 920 MHz. The gain of designed amplifier is 19 dB at Q=88, and the power dissipation is about 61 mW under 3 V power supply by using the spiral inductor with negative-7m circuit and center frequency tunning circuit. The designed band-pass amplifier is implemented by using 0.6 um 2-poly-3-metal standard CMOS process.

  • Dynamic characteristics of widely tunable SGDBR/SSGDBR laser diodes integrated with an electroabsorption modulator is inestigated using an improved large-signal timef-domain model. First, wide tunning properties of a SGDBR laser diode and a SSGDBR laser diode are analyzed respectively and compared with each other. And, intensity-modulation characteristics of a SGDBR laser diode incorprating an electroabsorption modulator are investigated. It is shown that an external modulation has the lower frequency chirp by 1/20 for almost same extinction ratios than a direct modulation, and a nearly transform-limited pulse train can be generated using the optical gating of an electroabsorption modulator.

  • Based on fuzzy logic algorithm this paper constructed fuzzy logic controller for automated vehicles. For passenger´s convenience especially comfortability controller need to reduce the frequency of input variable´s changing. So we established membership functions for comfortability as well as speed following. It made possible to control comfortability directly.   • An Electric motor is used for user-friendly equipment in vehicles. In this paper, an electric motor for windows is considered for the tunning of engineering inspection concerned with noise level from it. Noise from the electric window motor is a kind of structure-borne noise and becomes a reference parameter for its engineering performance. Estimation of noise from the motors shows the quantitative values such as overall noise. Noise level at each frequency and the qualitative figures for the transient characteristics of sound are also revealed. The loudness level, one of the qualitative parameters, distinguishes the performances of every components by the comparison of its magnitude. In summary, it is found that the qualitative comparisons become useful means for the inspection of electric motors.
