초고속 통신망에서 터널링 기법은 네트워크 인증 및 데이터의 보안 지원에 있다. 이를 위해 IPSec, SOCKS V5 및 GRE 터널링 프로토콜 등을 사용하고 있다. 본 논문은 초고속 통신망에서 특정 IP 대역에 대하여 라우팅 루트를 변경시켜 유해 서비스 접속 차단 및 이용자 Needs에 따라 특정 서비스에 대한 라우팅 루트를 변경시켜 이용자가 원하는 선택적인 서비스 제공 기반을 구현하고자 하였다. 따라서 GRE프로토콜을 이용하여 GRE의 동작 원리를 측정 분석하고, 그 결과를 접속 제어 및 인증 기반 서비스에 적용하고자 한다.

In recent years, it is required that computing support mobile user with computer. The advantage of mobile computing is that users may access all their applications from any location, whether they are in another building or a different state. So, Internet combines with mobile computing technology to make new communication environment for supporting mobility. The research for solving the problem of mobility is actively in progress. This paper describes the implementation of tunneling method for flexible bypass between specific region. Tunneling method provide mobile service to mobile hosts. IP datagram's address tranform method is IP-within-IP encapsulation by which an IP datagram may be encapsulated within an IP datagram. The developed IP-within-IP protocol can provide not only enhanced performance because it is implemented in kernel mode, but also convenience of usage to the application developers because it gives user interface as a dynamic link library. Verification of IP packet tunneling was text file transfer program.

인터넷과 인터넷 프로토콜을 사용하는 방송 서비스에 대한 연구가 활발하다. 본 논문에서는 특히 터널링 기반의 푸쉬 서비스 기술이 제안되었으며, 또한 기지국에서 사설 IP 주소를 사용하는 경우에 대한 적용 방안도 제안되었다. 지역정보 및 교통정보, 재난 방송 등의 특정 지역의 방송 수신 기술로 적합한 방법이다.

VPN(Virtual Private Networks)을 적절히 설계하기 위한 필요조건은 확장성, 효율성, 신뢰성, 관리의 용이성, 상호운용성과 보안이다. 이러한 요구사항들을 지원하기 위한 중요한 기술이 tunneling 이 될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 현재 주로 사용되고 있는 VPN tunneling 기술에 대해 조사하고 VPN에서 문제시되는 확장성과 Mobile VPN 환경에서 Mobile Station 의 자원제한을 고려한 VPN 서비스 모델을 제안한다.

본 논문은 DSTM (Dual Stack Transition Mechanism) 서비스를 제공하기 위해 필요한 구성 요소 중에서 DTI (Dynamic Tunnel Interface)를 통한 IPv4 over IPv6 터널에 대해 분석한 후 요소기술 및 기능들을 정의하여 적합한 모듈을 설계하여 구현하였다. 그리고 구현된 IPv4 over IPpv6 터널이 실제 서비스될 수 있는지를 확인하기 위해 다양한 환경에서 기존의 6over4 서비스와 IPv4 트래픽과의 성능 비교 분석을 위한 실험 후 결과를 제시하였다. 제시된 결과는 IP6 터널 헤더에서의 checksum 계산의 불필요성에 따른 지연 감소 등으로 6over4 서비스보다는 우수한 성능을 나타내었다

본 논문에서는 IPv6 기반 망에서 이동 호스트들에게 효율적이고 신뢰성있는 멀티캐스트 서비스를 제공하기 위한 멀티캐스트 라우팅 기법을 제안한다. 본 논문의 목적은 멀티캐스트 트리 재구성 횟수와 멀티캐스트 서비스 끊김 시간을 줄이는 알고리즘을 개발하는데 있다. 제안하는 멀티캐스트 라우팅 기법은 IETF 워킹그룹에서 제안되어진 Bi-directional tunneling 기법과 Remote subscription 기법의 장점들을 이용한 혼합방식이다. 제안하는 기법은 최대 허용 전송 지연 시간을 만족하면서 최대 터널링 서비스를 제공한다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 기존 멀티캐스트 라우팅 기법들에 비해 제안하는 기법이 멀티개스트 트리 재구성 횟수와 멀티캐스트 서비스 끊김 시간 측면에서 보다 우수한 성능을 가짐을 보인다.

In this paper, we propose a multicast routing scheme for an efficient and reliable support of multicast service to mobile hosts in IPv6 based networks. The purpose of this paper is to develop an algorithm to reduce both the number of multicast tree reconstruction and the multicast service disrupt time using the RSVP scheme. The proposed multicast routing scheme is a hybrid method using the advantages of the hi-directional tunneling and the remote subscription proposed by the IETF Mobile IP working group. The proposed scheme satisfies the maximum tolerable transfer delay time and supports the maximum tunneling service. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme has better performance in the number of multicast tree reconstruction and the time of multicast service disrupt than the previous schemes does.

The services such as real-time audio and video applications have become increasingly popular, especially over the Internet. Furthermore, as being commercialized those contents on the Internet require quality of service (QoS) support to ensure their performance. PPP is the best solution to of for those kinds of services. The reason why we want to employ PPP is this satisfies most of the requirements associated with remote connectivity to an NSP, such as IP address assignment, security, and AAA (authentication, authorization and accounting). In addition, since ISPs and corporations are familiar with PPP based connectivity, easy migration from existing ISP infrastructure is expected, if QoS is guaranteed. But so for PPP has had no field to ensure the quality of service. This article presents the solution by using some tunneling protocols and the draft [1] that proposed additional LCP option fields to negotiate QoS. To communicate each other, after negotiating those option fields, over various protocols such as ATM, Ethernet, and etc. tunneling protocol is used. Following sections will mention those briefly. And the service provision to offer the end-to-end communication with negotiated QoS will also be proposed.

본 논문에서는 IPv6 기반 이동망에서 호스트들의 이동성에 따른 최적화된 경로로 멀티캐스트 데이터를 전달하기 위한 멀티캐스트 라우팅 프로토콜을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 제안하는 멀티캐스트 라우팅 프로토콜은 이동 호스트의 이동 속도에 따라 터널링 길이를 제한하여 트리 재구성 오버헤드를 줄인다. 또한 종단간 지연의 상한 값을 만족하면서 끊김 없는 핸드오프를 지원하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 시뮬레이션 및 분석적 결과는 기존 멀티캐스트 라우팅 프로토콜들에 비해 제안하는 프로토콜이 이동 호스트의 이동성에 따라 트리 재구성과 터널링 서비스 및 멀티캐스트 패킷 손실 측면에서 보다 우수한 성능을 가짐을 보인다.

The DMB standards allow to transmit IP data on IP Tunneling. It is able to DMB data localcasting services using technologies as assigning IP address, encapsulating IP packets, guiding IP data service and, exchanging IP packet at the local area. As the result of that, we can have good experiences as rich and localized multimedia on the DMB networks.
