In this paepr, we propose a dynamic multicast routin algorithm for constructing the delay-constrained minimal spanning tree in the VP-based ATM networks, in which we consider the effiiciency enen in the case wheree the destination dynamically joins/departs the multicast connection. For constructing the delay-constrained spanning tree, we frist generate a reduced network consisting of only VCX nodes from a given ATM network, originally consisting of VPX/VCX nodes. Then, we obtain the delay-constrained spanning tree with a minimal tree cost on the reduced network by using our proposed heuristic algorithm. Through numerical examples, we show that our dynamic multicast routing algorithm can provide an efficient usage of network resources when the membership nodes frequently changes during the lifetime of a multicast connection. We also demonstrate the more cost-saving can be expected in dense networks when applyingour proposed algorithm.

Complementary trees are two spanning trees rooted at the sink node satisfying that any source node's two paths to the sink node on the two trees are node-disjoint. Complementary trees routing strategy is a special node-disjoint multi-path routing approach. Several complementary trees routing algorithms have been proposed, in which path discovery methods based on depth first search (DFS) or Dijkstra's algorithm are used to find a path for augmentation in each round of path augmentation step. In this paper, a novel path discovery method based on multi-tree-growing (MTG) is presented for the first time to our knowledge. Based on this path discovery method, a complementary trees routing algorithm is developed with objectives of low average path length on both spanning trees and low complexity. Measures are employed in our complementary trees routing algorithm to add a path with nodes near to the sink node in each round of path augmentation step. The simulation results demonstrate that our complementary trees routing algorithm can achieve low average path length on both spanning trees with low running time, suitable for wireless sensor networks in industrial scenarios.

Wireless sensor networks (WSN) are widely used in many applications. WSN acquires the data of surrounding environments with sensors attached to each node. It is important to design sensor networks that can communicate energy-efficiently as well as to get sensor readings with high accuracy. In this paper, we propose a novel routing scheme that assures high accuracy and significantly reduces data transmission costs in WSN with faults. First, we organize a number of network topologies randomly for routing sensor readings to the base station. Because every sensor node is connected each other with a single path, redundant transmissions are not incurred. It can reduce unnecessary transmissions and guarantee final sensor readings with high accuracy. To show the superiority of our scheme, we compare it with an existing multi-path routing scheme. In the result, our scheme has similar accuracy as the existing scheme and reduces unnecessary data transmissions by about 70% over the existing technique.

Ad hoc networks play an important role in mobile communications, and the performance of nodes has a significant impact on the choice of communication links. To ensure efficient and secure data forwarding and delivery, an intelligent routing protocol (IAODV) based on learning method is constructed. Five attributes of node energy, rate, credit value, computing power and transmission distance are taken as the basis of segmentation. By learning the selected samples and calculating the information gain of each attribute, the decision tree of routing node is constructed, and the rules of routing node selection are determined. IAODV algorithm realizes the adaptive evaluation and classification of network nodes, so as to determine the optimal transmission path from the source node to the destination node. The simulation results verify the feasibility, effectiveness and security of IAODV.
In this paper, we propose a multicast routing protocol for the seamless delivery of multicast data to mobile hosts through the optimal route in IP based mobile networks. The proposed multicast routing protocol is a hybrid method employing the merits of the bi-directional tunneling and the remote subscription by considering the mobility of mobile hosts. The proposed protocol satisfies the bound of end-to-end delay and supports the seamless handoff. The simulation results show that the proposed protocol has better performance in the number of multicast tree reconstruction and tunneling length and packet loss time than the previous protocols.
The deployment of multicast communication services in the Internet is expected to lead a stable packet transfer even in heavy traffic as in On-Line Game environment. The Core Based Tree scheme among many multicast protocols is the most popular and suggested recently. However, CBT exhibit two major deficiencies such as traffic concentration or poor core placement problem. So, measuring the bottleneck link bandwidth along a path is important for understanding the performance of multicast. We propose not only a definition of CBT's core link state that Steady-State(SS), Normal-State(NS) and Bottleneck State(BS) according to the estimation link speed rate, but also the changeover of multicast routing scheme for traffic overload. In addition, we introduce anycast routing tree, a efficient architecture for construct shard multicast trees.
For the Internet multicast routing, there are some protocols researched. This paper presents a new protocol called DPIM (Delay-bounded PIM) to support QoS of delay in multicast routing. This protocol is based on PIM-SM. When the specified delay bound is not satisfied by dynamic membership, the RP (Rendezvous Point) of shared tree is changed and the shared tree is reconstructed. Therefore, the QoS of delay is always supported in this protocol. Through performance analysis and comparison with other protocol, we certify that this protocol is pertinent.

In this paper, we propose a multicast routing scheme for an efficient and reliable support of multicast service to mobile hosts in IPv6 based networks. The purpose of this paper is to develop an algorithm to reduce both the number of multicast tree reconstruction and the multicast service disrupt time using the RSVP scheme. The proposed multicast routing scheme is a hybrid method using the advantages of the hi-directional tunneling and the remote subscription proposed by the IETF Mobile IP working group. The proposed scheme satisfies the maximum tolerable transfer delay time and supports the maximum tunneling service. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme has better performance in the number of multicast tree reconstruction and the time of multicast service disrupt than the previous schemes does.
