TCM을 이용한 칠갑저수지의 레크리에이션 편익 분석 (Measuring Recreational Benefits of Chilgap Reservoir Using TCM)

  • The study attempts to estimate the recreational benefits of Chilgap multi-purpose reservoir using the on-site survey sample of 130 visitors. The individual travel cost method is used for measuring the recreational benefits of Chilgap multi-purpose reservoir and a zero-truncated negative binomial model is used to elicit the travel demand function. The price elasticities of visit demand are ranged from 0.29 to 0.39. Recreational benefits are ranged from 119 to 156 thousand won per visit and are ranged from 292 to 383 thousand won per annual. When the number of annual visitors to Chilgap reservoir is appled, then the recreational benefits are ranged from 2.7 to 3.6 billion won. This study could contribute to the advancement of post-construction evaluation in the public construction field similar to Chilgap reservoir.

여행비용모형을 이용한 전남 바다목장 해역 유어활동의 경제적 가치 추정 (Estimating the Economic Value of Recreational Fishing in the Jeonnam Marine Ranching Area)

  • This study aimed to estimate the economic value of the recreational fishing in the Jeonnam marine ranching area as a part of the total socioeconomic evaluation of the Jeonnam marine ranching program. A travel cost method was applied to the estimation of economic value of the recreational fishing in the Jeonnam marine ranching area and input variables included annual fishing trip days, average travel cost per trip, average catch amount, monthly income, marriage, age, and personal perception on the marine ranching program. In the analysis, due to its characteristic of count data, both poisson model and negative binomial model were used. Model results indicated that a negative binomial model was statistically more suitable than the poisson model as the overdispersion problem occurred in the poisson model. All signs of the estimated parameters were estimated as previous studies showed. Based on the results, the economic value per trip of the recreational fishing in the Jeonnam marine ranching area was estimated to be 145,000 won and the annual total economic value of the recreational fishing in the Jeonnam marine ranching area was analyzed to be 2,514,000 won. In addition, the change of total value by catch rate showed that the economic value could be increased by 180,900 won as the catch increased by one kilogram.

생태하천복원사업 전후 경제적 가치 비교분석 (Ex-ante and Ex-post Economic Value Analysis on Ecological River Restoration Project)

  • 본 연구는 서울시에서 추진한 청계천 복원사업에 대한 경제적 가치를 평가하기 위해 심층출구면접조사 방식으로 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 여행비용법(Travel Cost Method, TCM)을 적용하였다. 가산자료의 특성을 감안하여 분석모형은 포아송모형(Poisson Model, PM), 음이항모형(Negative Binomial, NB), 절단된 포아송모형(Zero-truncated Poisson, ZTP), 그리고 절단된 음이항모형(Zero-truncated Negative Binomial, ZTNB)을 사용하였다. 분석결과 추정계수들은 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났고 일반적인 소비자경제이론에 부합하는 결과가 도출되었다. 조사된 자료에서 과산포현상(Over-dispersion)이 발견되었으며 모형적합도검정을 통해서 절단된 음이항모형(Zero-truncated Negative Binomial, ZTNB)이 청계천 방문객의 수요를 추정하는 데 최적모형으로 선정되었다. 생태하천복원사업인 청계천복원사업의 경제적 가치를 추정하기 위해 방문객의 연평균 방문횟수와 최적모형에서 추정된 계수를 통해서 분석한 결과 청계천의 경제적 가치는 2013년 기준으로 연간 약 1,902 원으로 추정되었다.

차종 시퀀스 패턴을 이용한 구간통행시간 계측 (Measurement of Travel Time Using Sequence Pattern of Vehicles)

  • 교본 연구는, 구간속도 검지를 위한 기존의 방법인 프로브차량 방식과 차량 번호판 인식 방식의 문제점을 보완할 수 있는 대안으로써, 도로 구간 시.종점에서의 차량 시퀀스 패턴을 이용하여 구간속도 검지가 가능토록 하는 알고리즘을 개발, 제시하였다. 본 알고리즘은 구간 시.종점에서의 차량들을 '차종 순차(Precedence)패턴을 순서대로 나열한 일정한 길이의 시퀀스 그룹'으로 인식하고, 종점에서의 특정 시퀀스에 대응하는, 시점에서의 시퀀스를 탐색하여 가장 유사도가 높은 시퀀스를 동일 그룹으로 간주하여 해당 구간의 통행 시간을 산출하였다. 유사도 비용의 정의에 따라 세 가지의 모델을 제시하였으며, 차량 유출입에 의한 이상치를 제거하고 가공함으로써 정보제공 주기에 가장 적합한 구간 대표 통행시간을 산출할 수 있도록 하였다. 컴퓨터 모의 실험을 통해 구간길이와 통과차량 수를 증가시키면서 차종별, 시.종점의 시퀀스 길이별로 반복 시뮬레이션 한 결과, 평균 최대 오차율 3.46%로서 현장 적용성에서 뛰어난 가능성을 보였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to estimate the economic value of the Songieong Beach in Off-season, using a Individual Travel Cost Model(ITCM). Songieong Beach is located in Busan but far away from city. These days, however, the increased rate of traffic inflow to the Songieong beach and the five-day working week are reflected in the trend analysis. Moreover, people have changed psychological value. For that reason, visitors are on the increase on the beach in off-season. The ITCM is applied to estimate non-market value or environmental Good like a Contingent Valuation Method and Hedonic Price Model etc. The ITCM was derived from the Count Data Model(i.e. Poisson and Negative Binomial model). So this paper compares Poisson and negative binomial count data models to measure the tourism demands. The data for the study were collected from the Songjeong Beach on visitors over the a week from November 1 through November 23, 2006. Interviewers were instructed to interview only individuals. So the sample was taken in 113. A dependent variable that is defined on the non-negative integers and subject to sampling truncation is the result of a truncated count data process. This paper analyzes the effects of determinants on visitors' demand for exhibition using a class of maximum-likelihood regression estimators for count data from truncated samples, The count data and truncated models are used primarily to explain non-negative integer and truncation properties of tourist trips as suggested by the economic valuation literature. The results suggest that the truncated negative binomial model is improved overdispersion problem and more preferred than the other models in the study. This paper is not the same as the others. One thing is that Estimating Value of the Beach in off-season. The other thing is this study emphasizes in particular 'travel cost' that is not only monetary cost but also including opportunity cost of 'travel time'. According to the truncated negative binomial model, estimates the Consumer Surplus(CS) values per trip of about 199,754 Korean won and the total economic value was estimated to be 1,288,680 Korean won.

덕유산 국립공원의 이용특성 및 휴양편익에 관한 연구

  • There have been few researches on the factors affecting forest recreation demand and demand for and value of forest recreation in Korea. This study has three main objectives as follows; First, to introduce the nature of recreation demand, the factors affecting forest recreation demand, and the methods of measuring demand for and benefits from forest recreation by reviewing related literatures. Secondly, to investigate the visitors' characteristics, patterns of recreation activities, and their attitudes for the recreation environments at the Deogyu National Park through interviewing them with the questionaire. Thirdly, to estimate the demand for and benefits of forest recreation at the National Park by Travel Cost Method. The survey was dealt by three trained interviewers at the enterance of the park for 5 days from September 26 to October 10, 1982. The 430 respondents were sampled randomly among 9,391 visitors with 4.6% of sampling rate. As the results, the study revealed that most of visitors to Deogyu National Park were from urban areas and belonged to the intermediate-upper income classes, and that most of them traveled more than 250 km or 4 hours to the site from their origins. And more respondents answered that the recreation environments of the cite were more or less better than other recreation areas. From the date of travel distances and participation rates of 13 cities or counties, the demand schedule of forest recreation at the National Park was established. The estimated equation of total experience demand curve is; Log $VR_i$ 2.6353 – 1.021 Log $D_i$ $R^2=0.9451$ where, $VR_i$ $(%\times1000)$ = Participation rate of the ith origin $D_i$ (km) = Travel distance from the ith origin From the total experience demand curve, the demand curve of recreation resources was built by adding travel cost in distance (km). The regression equation of the recreation resources at the Nation park is; Log V = 4.0304 – 0.8167 Log D $R^2=0.9060$ From the demand schedule of recreation resources, the recreational bendfits of Deogyu National Park was estimated. The estimated bendfits to a visitor from the forest is equivalent to the travel cost of 2,372 km. The study also found out that the demand for recreation resources was less elastic than the demand for the total recreation experience at the Deogyu National Park.

여행비용모형 분석을 통한 유어(遊漁)활동의 경제적 가치 추정 -미국 멕시코만 Red Grouper 유어부문을 대상으로 - (A Study on the Evaluation of Economic Value of the Gulf of Mexico Recreational Red Grouper Fishery)

  • In order to evaluate the effectiveness of management measures and to provide policy suggestions for the allocation of total allowable catch between recreational and commercial sectors, the economic value of red grouper recreational fishery in the United States Gulf of Mexico was estimated using a Travel Cost Method(TCM), Due to the characteristic of count data, a Poisson model(PM) and a Negative binomial model(NBM) were used in the TCM. Results of models showed that the NBM was statistically more suitable than the PM since the overdispersion problem occurred in the PM. Results also indicated all signs of the estimated parameters were as expected and were significant, except for a Boat parameter in both models. Based on the results of NBM, the total economic value of the recreational red grouper fishery was estimated to be $\$698.6$ and the value per trip was $\$179.5$. In addition, the total changes in expected consumer surplus due to changes in catch rates was $ \$42.3$.

여행비용법에 의한 선상낚시 체험활동의 경제적 가치 추정 : 제주 차귀도를 대상으로 (Estimating the Economic Value of Boat Fishing Experience Activity Using Travel Cost Method: Focused on Jeju Island's Chagwido)

  • The purpose of this study is to estimate the economic value of boat fishing experience marine tourism activity in Jeju Island's Chagwido. The economic value is estimated as consumer surplus using count data models including the truncated Poisson model and the truncated negative binominal distribution model. This study collects the effective 504 questionnaires from boat fishing experience tourists in Jeju Island's Chagwido. The truncated negative binominal distribution model was statistically more suitable and valid than other models. The truncated negative binominal distribution model was applied to estimate consumer surplus as economic value from boat fishing experience tourism activity in Jeju Island's Chagwido. A consumer surplus value per trip was estimated as about 209,900 won. The annual economic value from boat fishing experience tourism activity was estimated as 273,700 won in Jeju Island's Chagwido. Consequently, boat fishing experience marine tourism activity has a very large economic value in Jeju Island.

환경자원의 가치평가 이론과 주요 방법 (Theory and Methods for the Evaluation of Environmental Resources)

  • 1992년 리우회의 이후 국제적으로 환경자원의 중요성이 인식되면서 환경자원에 대한 가치를 정량화하고자 하는 움직임이 본격화 되었다. 우리나라 역시 이러한 국제적인 추세에 영향을 받으면서 1990년초부터 비시장재화의 가치를 평가하고자 하는 연구가 본격적으로 시작되었다. 또한 1999년에 예비타당성조사가 도입되면서 대규모건설사업 수행 전에 환경자원의 가치까지 고려한 비용편익분석이 실제로 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 환경자원에 대한 가치평가 방법이 아직 정립되지 못한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 환경자원의 가치 평가를 위한 이론과 주요 평가 방법을 소개하였다. 이론에서는 환경자원의 가치를 수요함수와 생산함수차원에서 검토하고 이들 두 함수가 함께 고려된 시장에서 최적 수준을 도출하였다. 평가 방법에서는 시장의 특성에 따라 대표되는 평가 방법인 여행비용법, 만족가격법, 가상가치평가법을 소개하였다.

출발지와 도착지의 경로인지특성을 반영한 One-to-One 최적경로탐색 (출발지기반 수식 및 알고리즘을 중심으로) (Finding the One-to-One Optimum Path Considering User's Route Perception Characteristics of Origin and Destination (Focused on the Origin-Based Formulation and Algorithm))

  • 출발지와 도착지를 연결하는 경로의 총통행비용은 경로를 구성하는 링크통행비용과 경로인지비용의 합으로 구성된다. 링크인지비용이 출발지와 도착지에 따라 상이한 경우 경로인지비용을 고려한 최적경로탐색은 경로열거문제에 직면하여 현실 적용에는 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 출발지와 도착지 간 경로의 열거문제를 발생시키지 않으면서 경로상에 상이한 링크인지비용을 반영하는 최적경로탐색 최적식과 알고리즘을 제안한다. 경로의 최소단위를 링크로 정의하고 링크의 비교가 경로의 비교로 확대되는 최적경로탐색기법을 제안한다. 출발지와 목적지에서 링크의 인지특성을 반영하기 위하여 출발지기반 최적경로탐색과 목적지기반 최적경로탐색을 동시에 적용하는 방안을 제안한다. 양방향 탐색에 의한 경로탐색은 최적해가 보장되지 못하므로 목적지기반 최적링크인지경로트리를 먼저 구축하고 출발지기반 최적경로탐색의 제약조건으로 반영하는 수식과 알고리즘을 제안한다. 주변지 역에 대한 경로정보의 다양성과 도로위계에 대한 인지비용을 포함한 사례연구를 통해 제안된 수식과 알고리즘이 실제 교통망에서 출발지와 도착지의 특성이 반영된 경로인지행태를 적절하게 반영하는 지에 대하여 검토한다.
