Overview of 5G-NR-V2X System and Analysis Methodology of Communication Performance (5G-NR-V2X 시스템 개요 및 통신 성능 분석방법론)

  • This article describes the 5G-NR-V2X system and its communication performance methodology. We present a system that can develop and verify the performance of self-driving services in a real road test environment using OBU and RSU for 5G-NR-V2X communication (level 4 or higher). This system ensures ultra-high speed (150Mbps or more), ultra-low latency (3ms or less), and high reliability (99.99 percent) in communication robustness, even under malicious conditions. The 5G-NR-V2X system and performance analysis method proposed in this paper are anticipated to aid in the development of V2X communication technologies that are ultrafast, ultralow-delay, and high-confidence. In addition, it is expected that the services validated by the suggested performance analysis technique will enhance technological competitiveness in the road, transportation, logistics, and commerce industries.

Strategy for Introducing Transboundary Environmental Impact Assessment in Northeast Asia (동북아 월경성 환경영향평가제도 도입에 대한 추진전략)

  • Northeast Asia including China, Japan, Mongolia, Russia, DPRK and ROK, is a geographically close region that falls under the same environmental influence. Recently the region is not only facing serious domestic environmental problems with rapid economic growth, but also confronted with transboundary environmental problems and associated conflicts between countries. Unfortunately, Northeast Asia lacks a solid environmental management system among countries to deal with transboundary and other environmental issues. Transboundary Environmental Impact Assessment (TEIA) can, therefore, be one of the essential systematic measures in which environmental problems between countries would be negotiated. However, it would be necessary to have an indepth discussion of what we have to do first for implementing TEIA system in the region, and how to operate it while customizing each Northeast Asian country with different EIA system and socioeconomic circumstance. All these cannot be decided in a short time, and we need to invest enough time for discussing and considering them from various aspects. Recently, the Korean government declared "Eurasia Initiative". The initiative proposes important developing projects and ultimately plans to build a peaceful community throughout Eurasia based on comprehensive cooperation. The initiative aims to increase exchanges in transportation, energy and agricultural sectors to achieve the goals. In this regard, implementing TEIA in Northeast Asia is urgently needed and we have to prepare the strategy for introducing TEIA mechanism. Based on the results of 10 year experience on TEIA projects conducted since 2004, we suggest double-track approaches for developing TEIA mechanism. We continuously need to make an effort to establish a regional TEIA mechanism that all countries legally join, and simultaneously we also have to prepare a process to carry out TEIA for upcoming projects based on bi- or multi-lateral agreements. Practical solutions such as conducting pilot TEIA with relevant countries and developing TEIA guideline for the region could be the first step.

교통량에 따른 배기가스량 산정에 관한 연구 -교차로를 중심으로-

  • 현재 서울은 교통사고문제, 교통혼잡문제와 자동차로부터 배출되는 유해가스에 의한 대기환경오염문제를 갖고 있다. 본 논문의 목적은 대기환경오염을 악화시키는 자동차의 주된 배출오염가스인 일산화탄소, 탄화수소 및 질소화합물량을 교차로 교통량을 중심으로 어떻게 계산하는가에 있다. 연구의 대상지역은 서울시의 송파구 교차로들과 도심지역의 링크들을 선택하였다. 그리고 교통량, 지체시간, 링크길이, 정지회수, 운행속도, 주행속도 등을 고려하여, 제작차 배출가스 허용기준, 총량기준, 불량차 기준, 속도기준 등에 의한 계수산정 및 TRAF-NETSIM에 의한 시뮬레이션을 통하여 일정 도로상의 제한된 범위내의 배출량 산출을 시도하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 의하면 첫째, 어느 방법이든 실제배출량의 정확한 값을 표현 할 수는 없는 것이고, 단지 상대적인 비교에 의하면 배출가스량의 수준을 추정 할 수 있었다. 또한, 시뮬레이션 배출율표를 우리 현실에 맞는 자료에 의해 수정할 수 있다면, 그 결과는 실제량에 보다 근접할 수 있을 것이다. 둘째, 서울도로의 현재 혼잡상태에서 속도의 저감에 배출량이 민감한 반응을 보이고 있다는 사실이다. 셋째, 교통량변화에 따른 배출량의 변화가 일산화탄소에서 가장 심하게 나타남을 알 수 있었고, 신호운영상의 옵셋값이 잘못 설정되면 탄화수소는 35%, 일산화탄소는 40%, 질소산화물은 75%까지 초과발생할 수 있으며, 유해배출가스량을 최소화시키는 측면에서의 신호최적화를 위해서는 현재의 Stop Penalty는 상향 조정되어야 함이 밝혀졌다. 앞으로는 자동차로 인한 대기환경오염 농도의 저감을 위해서는 도로별 자동차 유해가스 배출 총량규제 방안도 고려해 볼 가치가 있으며, 이를 위해 환경공학과 교통공학의 다학제적 공동연구가 지속적으로 필요하며 교통정책에 반영되어야 할 것이다.분석, 리용수 학모형대이십일세기상해항공운량진행예측, 제출발전상해항공운수적전 략목표급발전중점. 예측2020년 상해항공항총객운탄토량4300만인/년, 화운량달120만돈; 2050년객운량장달18150만인차/년, 화운량518만돈. 사, 발전상해민항기출경제정책, 제출위료$\ll$진흥상해, 개발포동, 복무전국, 면향세계$\gg$ 화도이십일세기중기국민경제달도중등발달국가수 평굉관전략목표적실현, 제료필수재지도사상상파교통운수진정방도전략 산업지위, 환응재관리체제상채취과단유효적개혁조시, 재기출경제정책 상급여대력부지. 오, 전략목표, 위파상해건설성위태평양서안최대적경제, 김융, 무역적중심, 요구상해항공항성위화동지구통향세계각지항선망출발참, 구성대외개방선면축심, 실현국제항선적함접화국내항반적전항, 형성다축심복사식항선망; 가강기장건설, 개피포동제이국제기장건설, 괄응포동개발경제발전적수요. 부화개시일은 각 5월 26일과 5월 22일이었다. 11. 6월 중순에 애벌레를 대상으로 처리한 Phenthoate EC가 96.38%의 방제가로 약효가 가장 우수하였고 3월중순 및 4월중순 월동후 암컷을 대상으로 처리한 Machine oil, Phenthoate EC 및 Trichlorfon WP는 비교적 약효가 낮았다.>$^{\circ}$E/$\leq$30$^{\circ}$NW 단열군이 연구지역 내에서 지하수 유동성이 가장 높은 단열군으로 추정된다. 이러한 사실은 3개 시추공을 대상으로 실시한 시추공 내 물리검층과 정압주입시험에서도 확인된다..   • The wireless low-floored tram is an innovative transportation system which is environment-friendly and highly energy-efficient. In addition, the system has various advantages such as low construction cost, improvement of urban landscape, revitalization of surrounding commercial area, elevated convenience for passengers, etc. Therefore, more than ten local governments have proposed tram construction projects in Korea. Accordingly, many research and development projects are ongoing funded by government including the developments of tram vehicle, tram trackway, signal system, etc. The embedded rail system are commonly used in order to provide leveled roadway surface in urban area. It is effective to reduce the noise and vibration, caused at the interface between the wheel and track, to minimize the construction period, and to lower the maintenance cost. This paper investigated the design and construction processes for tram trackway and figured out the constructability for the test track with embedded rail system for the first time in Korea. The performance to reduce the noise and vibration were quantitatively measured in the test track with embedded rail system. In addition, the results were compared to the ones for track with conventional rail system.

  • 실시간 교통정보 처리과정은 현장설비로부터 수집되는 각종 교통상황자료를 분석/처리하여 소통상황, 주행속도, 통행시간 등의 교통상황을 단기 예측하는 과정으로서 이는 주행안내시스템의 핵심요소기술이다. 주행안내 시스템 개발의 필요성은 선진국을 중심으로 제기되어 왔으며, 주행안내시스템은 각국 정부의 강력한 지원정책을 바탕으로 연구개발 단계를 거쳐 시범운영의 단계에 있다. 국내에서도 교통정체의 해소와 안전주행의 연구개발 단계를 거쳐 시범운영의 단계에 있다. 국내에서도 교통정체의 해소와 안전주행의 여건마련을 위하여 교통정보를·처리·제공하는 기술의 개발이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 그러나 국내 기술수준을 보면 전자통신기술을 바탕으로 교통정보의 수집과 제공에 관한 연구는 어느 정도 진행되고 있으나 운전자가 필요로 하는 교통정보의 분석과 처리에 관한 연구는 매우 저조한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 다양한 시스템에서 수집되는 자료를 종합적으로 처리, 저장,관리하고 이의 분석결과를 제공하는 교통정보센터의 프로토타입(Prototype)을 설정하는 것이다. 이러한 목표를 수행하기 위해서 요구되는 교통정보실험실의 기능은 수집된 교통자료의 신뢰성 분석, 교통정보의 종합적인 처리·저장·관리, 그리고 교통정보의 제공은 구분할 수 있다. 따라서, 현재 교통정보실험실에서 운영중인 정보의 형태를 제시하며, 이들 정보의 신뢰성을 실측자료와 비교한 실험적 결과를 예시한다. 또한, 개별 정보이용자에게 실시간 교통정보를 제공하기 위한 통신기술의 검토가 이루어진다. 차내 이용자에게 정보를 실시간으로 제공하기 위해서는 궁극적으로 무선통신기술의 응용이 필요하며, 정보이용자에게 다양한 정보를 제공하기 위해서 인터넷 통신과 연계시키는 것이 합리적으로 판단된다. 결론 부분에서는 교통정보실험실의 기능을 강화시키기 위한 향후의 연구과제를 제시한다.Si결정의 크기를 비교하였을 때 45$\mu\textrm{m}$ 이하의 분말을 섞어 압출하였을 때 가장 작은 초정 Si입자 크기를 얻음 을 볼 수 있었다. 주의 Fairfax County에 소재한 주간 고속도로 66번(I-66)과 인접 교통망의 교통자료를 사용하여 각종 돌발교통 혼잡 상황을 전제로 한 Traffic Simulation과 정보제공시나\리오를 INTEGRATION Model을 이용해 실행하였다. 그 결과 적응형 알고리즘이 개개인의 최단시간 경로를 제공하는 사용자 평형 경로안내전략에 비해 교통혼잡도와 정체시간의 체류정도에 따라 3%에서 10%까지 전체통행시간을 절약할 수 있다는 결론을 얻었다.출발참, 구성대외개방선면축심, 실현국제항선적함접화국내항반적전항, 형성다축심복사식항선망; 가강기장건설, 개피포동제이국제기장건설, 괄응포동개발경제발전적수요. 부화개시일은 각 5월 26일과 5월 22일이었다. 11. 6월 중순에 애벌레를 대상으로 처리한 Phenthoate EC가 96.38%의 방제가로 약효가 가장 우수하였고 3월중순 및 4월중순 월동후 암컷을 대상으로 처리한 Machine oil, Phenthoate EC 및 Trichlorfon WP는 비교적 약효가 낮았다.>$^{\circ}$E/$\leq$30$^{\circ}$NW 단열군이 연구지역 내에서 지하수 유동성이 가장 높은 단열군으로 추정된다. 이러한 사실은 3개 시추공을 대상으로 실시한 시추공 내 물리검층과 정압주입시험에서도 확인된다..   • Congestion index is needed for quantifying congestion level for various areas. So far, the index has been calculated based on multiple vehicle data for specified time interval. Such being the case, it was costly to build it and the usage of it was focused on policy development and evaluation rather than on traffic information provision. This study focuses on a development on a single vehicle based congestion index which can be a representative value for link congestion level and link speed information at the same time for dual purposes of traditional usages and information provision. A new term has been added for representing real time based arterial congestion level and it has been verified on a real time basis. The index was based on single vehicle GPS data and seemed to be cost effective in deriving the index. With the help of the index, the traffic information contents can be diversified in a constructive way in providing real time traffic information for ITS area and in using congestion level determination for traditional transportation areas.

  • Traffic congestion in existing tunnels has increased due to increased traffic volume and enlarged vehicles. Enlarging existing tunnels has advantages over constructing new tunnels by reducing land purchasing costs as well as minimizing natural environment destruction. In fact, many overseas projects for enlarging existing tunnels have been reported. Thus, it appears that the demand on enlarging existing tunnels continues to rise in Korea in near future. Nonetheless, the studies related to the enlarged tunnels have been relatively rare since there have been few tunnel enlargement projects in Korea. In the present study, the tunnel behavior and the stability of rock pillar when enlarging existing parallel tunnels were investigated by performing FE analysis and using existing theory and empirical relationships. Four different enlarging cases, depending on the enlargement types and directions, were examined in the study. According to the results, for the tunnels with the same pillar width after enlarged, the uni-laterally enlarged tunnel indicated 5 to 20% higher crown settlement compared to the bi-laterally enlarged tunnel, and for the tunnel with the narrowest pillar, the highest shotcrete stress was observed. Also, the strength/stress ratio for rock pillar was more than 1.0 for all four enlargement cases, and the Matsuda's method was found to give higher strength/stress ratio by about 50% compared to the Peck's method.

  • The suppression of residual settlement is required on earthwork sections as concrete track is introduced. Use of pile-slab structure is one of the settlement restraining methods applied on soft ground. The slab distributes the upper embankment load and piles transfer the load from the slab to the stiff ground. While this method is very effective in terms of load transfer, it has not yet been established for dealing with the vibration transfer effects and interaction characteristics between a structure and the ground. It is possible that vibration caused by a moving train load is propagated in the upper embankment, because the slab acts as a reflection layer and waves are multi-reflected. In this present paper, wave propagation generated by a moving train load is evaluated in the time and frequency domains to consider a roadbed structure using an artificial impact load and field measured train load. The results confirmed the wave reflection effect on the pile-slab structure, if the embankment height is sufficient, vibration propagation can be stably restrained, whereas if the height is not sufficient, the vibration amplitude is increased.

Freshness Prolongation of Crisphead Lettuce by Vacuum Cooling (진공예냉처리에 의한 양상치의 선도 연장)

  • The improvement of distribution system and freshness prolongation of crisphead lettuce were carried out through vacuum cooling and distribution under the low temperature. Lettuce that vacuum-cooled and transported by cold storage car was shown better freshness than that distributed by conventional method when they arrived at cunsuming area. And it took $10{\sim}17$ hours until their temperatures arrived at same temperatures when they were stored at $0{\sim}15^{\circ}C$ cold storage room. It was cooled to $1^{\circ}C$ after 27 minutes with vacuum cooling apparatus. The weight loss of lettuce that vacuum cooled and transported by cold storage car was below 5% after 30 days cold storage. And ascorbic acid and chlorophyll retentions were 86% and 52%, respectively. The shelf-life of crisphead lettuce, distributed by vacuum cooling and cold storage car transportation, was 5 days at $15^{\circ}C$ and over 40 days at $0^{\circ}C$, respectively. However, when it was distributed by conventional method, it was only 3 days at $15^{\circ}C$ and 20 days at $0^{\circ}C$, respectively.

  • Recently, due to global warming and climate change in Korea, local heavy storm occurs frequently. In this study, the risky areas for flooding in urban areas are analyzed for flood inundation based on two-dimensional urban flood runoff model (XP-SWMM) focusing on coastal high flood-risk urban areas. In addition, the MCDM (Multi-Criteria Decision Making) technique is utilized in order to establish the flood defense structural measures. The alternative flood reduction method are compared and the optimum flood defense measures are selected. A simulation model was used with three structural flood prevention measures (drainage pipe construction, water detention, flood pumping station). In order to decrease the flooding area, flood assessment criteria are suggested (flooded area, maximum inundation depth, damaged residential area, construction cost). Priorities of alternatives are determined by using compromise programming. As a result, the optimal flood defence alternative suggested for Janghang Zone 1 is flood pumping station and for Janghang Zone 2, 3 are drainage pipe construction.
