  • For given ${\alpha},{\omega}\;{\in}\;{\mathbb{R}}$ and ${\beta}$ > 1, let $T_{{\beta},{\alpha},{\omega}}$ be the skew-product transformation on the torus, [0, 1) ${\times}$ [0, 1) defined by (x, y) ${\longmapsto}\;({\beta}x,y+{\alpha}x+{\omega})$ (mod 1). In this paper, we give a criterion of ergodicity and weakly mixing for the transformation $T_{{\beta},{\alpha},{\omega}}$ when the natural extension of the given ${\beta}$-transformation can be viewed as a generalized baker's transformation, i.e., they flatten and stretch and then cut and stack a two-dimensional domain. This is a generalization of theorems in [10].

  • The object of the present paper is to study of Almost Quasi-Yamabe solitons and gradient almost quasi-Yamabe solitons on an Lorentzian concircular structure manifolds briefly say (LCS)n-manifolds under infinitesimal CL-transformations and obtained sufficient conditions for such solitons to be expanding, steady and shrinking. Also we obtained a necessary and sufficient condition of an almost quasi-Yamabe soliton with respect to the CL-connection to be an almost quasi-Yamabe soliton on (LCS)n-manifolds with respect to Levi-Civita connection. Finally, we construct an example of steady almost quasi-Yamabe soliton on 3-dimensional (LCS)n-manifolds.

  • The rural traditional houses in Taebaek mountainous regions play important roles in figuring out values and social aspects of past time including housing life. But due to the introduction of convenient facilities in the current housing life style after industrialized society, many transformations have been taken place even to exist rural traditional folk houses such as installation of new equipment and furniture, the arrangement and function change of rooms, expansion of residential area and etc. So this study aims to secure basic data to prepare installation standard of the convenient facilities as examining convenience facility installation status of the cultural asset designated as rural traditional house, and to identify the meaning and usage of major room of rural traditional houses in order to prepare the proper balances between its original form preservation and residents' convenience living.

  • The intent of this paper is to describe a neural network structure called dynamic neural processor(DNP), and examine how it can be used in developing a learning scheme for computing robot inverse kinematic transformations. The architecture and learning algorithm of the proposed dynamic neural network structure, the DNP, are described. Computer simulations are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed learning using the DNP.

  • This pater presents a new fractal coding scheme to find more optimal transformation using the reference images which I determined by some criteria. After finding the transformations to minimize the distance between the original image and the reference images. we choose one of them which has the best performance. Conventional fractal coding schemes based on the collage theorem obtain the transformation to minimize the distance between an original image and its collage image because of heavy computation. In other words, it is because the optimal transformation and be obtained after the attractors of all the possible transformations are generated and then compared with an original image. As such a procedure is practically difficult to implement. the collage coding schemes using the theorem have widely used, We introduce the new scheme to overcome the complexity problem for the optimal transformation and be obtained, our scheme is evaluated. as compared with the optimal one, In general cases that the optimal one is unavailable. our scheme is also evaluated, as compared with the conventional schemes.

  • The purpose of the study is to propose a new surface design concepts within fractal pattern. In this study, I am offering the fractal concepts drawn from science, as a new anchoring point for surface design. Fractal Patterns are generated by transforming a seed slab into a number of constituent elements through fractal operations of rotation, scaling and linear transformations. These elements are bound together as a second generation seed shape which is reiterated according to the same transformations. This process continues for as many generations as desired. In conclusion, this study places a great emphasis on the natural pattern order to the surface generation, which I hope will contribute to generating a number of creative possibilities for interior design.

  • The rural houses in Tonghae have a different spatial structure from those of the other area because of the characteristics of a regional circumstances between the Taebaek mountains and the East Sea. The purpose of this study is aimed at grasping how the spatial transformations of the rural houses according to the changes of the housing lifestyles by the modernization and urbanization are coped with and changed. This study consists of understanding the trend of change of the rural houses in Tonghae through the analysis of living elements and the spatial transformation and process of the rural houses in Tonghae since 50's on the basis of the use change, extension and renovation of residential space.

  • Leaf C:N ratio is a new factor in the field of biochemical inversion with hyperspectral data. Effects of common-used spectral transformations including log(R), log(1/R), 1/R, etc. from 400nm to 2490nm on its inversion are compared. Results show that their effects on statistical modeling are not apparent. Continuum removal is used on original reflectance in the range of 2030nm to 2220nm, in which exists an apparent absorption peak due to cellulose, lignin, protein, etc. The effect is distinctive and tends to improve the precision of C:N ratio inversion. Further, it is a robust and physically based transformation.

  • In this paper we will consider the weighted composition operators W = $uC_{\tau}$ between $L^{p}$$(X,\sum,\mu$) spaces and Orlicz spaces $L^{\phi}$$(X,\sum,\mu$) generated by measurable and non-singular transformations $\tau$ from X into itself and measurable functions u on X. We characterize the functions u and transformations $\tau$ that induce weighted composition operators between $L^{p}$ -spaces by using some properties of conditional expectation operator, pair (u,${\gamma}$) and the measure space $(X,\sum,\mu$). Also, some other properties of these types of operators will be investigated.

  • In this note we consider the monoid $\mathcal{PODI}_n$ of all monotone partial permutations on $\{1,{\ldots},n\}$ and its submonoids $\mathcal{DP}_n$, $\mathcal{POI}_n$ and $\mathcal{ODP}_n$ of all partial isometries, of all order-preserving partial permutations and of all order-preserving partial isometries, respectively. We prove that both the monoids $\mathcal{POI}_n$ and $\mathcal{ODP}_n$ are quotients of bilateral semidirect products of two of their remarkable submonoids, namely of extensive and of co-extensive transformations. Moreover, we show that $\mathcal{PODI}_n$ is a quotient of a semidirect product of $\mathcal{POI}_n$ and the group $\mathcal{C}_2$ of order two and, analogously, $\mathcal{DP}_n$ is a quotient of a semidirect product of $\mathcal{ODP}_n$ and $\mathcal{C}_2$.
