  • Recent technological advances in three-dimensional (3D) sensing devices and machine learning such as deep leaning has enabled data-driven 3D applications. Research on artificial intelligence has developed for the past few years and 3D deep learning has been introduced. This is the result of the availability of high-quality big data, increases in computing power, and development of new algorithms; before the introduction of 3D deep leaning, the main targets for deep learning were one-dimensional (1D) audio files and two-dimensional (2D) images. The research field of deep leaning has extended from discriminative models such as classification/segmentation/reconstruction models to generative models such as those including style transfer and generation of non-existing data. Unlike 2D learning, it is not easy to acquire 3D learning data. Although low-cost 3D data acquisition sensors have become increasingly popular owing to advances in 3D vision technology, the generation/acquisition of 3D data is still very difficult. Even if 3D data can be acquired, post-processing remains a significant problem. Moreover, it is not easy to directly apply existing network models such as convolution networks owing to the various ways in which 3D data is represented. In this paper, we summarize technological trends in AI-based 3D content generation.

  • In order to promote social responsibility, a company reads to engage in various activities to increase their competitiveness to ensure stable and continuous development. One of the activities is to input human/material resources in order to draw and develop the core abilities of member for the productivity improvement of the company. This study is concerned with capability improvement of members in relation to core company performance, the focus of the study is to identify how education training in a company may contribute to team performance by leaning transfer through empirical study. As a result of this study, it was found that the personality of members, as well as the training programs, within the company can be a significant factor for improving productivity and performance of the company. In addition, team members noted that learning transfer take place when effectively lead through the leadership of a boss and identified that this leadership ultimately has a significant effect on team performance.

  • Recently, methods of using machine learning in artificial intelligence such as autonomous navigation and speech recognition have been actively studied. Classical image processing methods such as classical boundary detection and pattern recognition have many limitations in order to recognize a specific object or area in a digital image. However, when a machine learning method such as deep-learning is used, Can be obtained. However, basically, a large amount of learning data must be secured for machine learning such as deep-learning. Therefore, it is difficult to apply the machine learning for area classification when the amount of data is very small, such as aerial photographs for environmental analysis. In this study, we apply a transfer-learning technique that can be used when the dataset size of the input image is small and the shape of the input image is not included in the category of the training dataset.

  • In recent years, an increasing number of viewpoints hold that students should be engaged in a learning environment where understanding and knowledge transfer take place. This study introduces Mathematics Created by You (MCY)-mentoring program, which allows students to construct artefacts that are required to learn. This program is online-based and so can be shared by several people and mathematics leaning takes place through interactions within this carefully designed environment. Also, MCY intends to provide students a series of sequential activities related to creative play, creative learning and creative inquiry based on a Constructive and interactive environment. Furthermore, a creative activity- constructing a creative product using building blocks- was presented as an example. Finally, we investigate the pedagogical implications and suggest directions for the further development.

  • Today's meridian system is revealing the theory made after the standard of 'Ling-shu Jing-mai(靈樞 經脈)'. But after excavating 'Ma-wang-dui'(馬王堆)'s' medical books from his 'Han(漢)' Dynasty tomb, there had to be some adjustments made concerning the former meridian systme. 'Shi-yi-mai-jiu-jing(足臂十一脈灸經)' and 'Yin-yand-shi-yi-mai-jiu-jing(陰陽十一脈灸經)' are not related and each of them was developed independently and influenced by the Meridian Pluse Theory of 'Ling-shu(靈樞)'. Accordingly, the leaning toward heart pluse system and the circulating pulse system were formed and 'Ling-shu(靈樞)' was influenced by this. Therefore, investigating these processes thoroughly is the main subject stated in this thesis. The occupying percentage of the 'leaning toward heart pluse system(向心脈系)' and the 'circulating pluse system(循環脈系)' in each section is one-sided to the loaning toward heart pluse system. However, today's 'Jing-mai system(經脈體系)' is developed focusing on 'Jing-mai(經脈)'. The reason for this should be investigated by using the medical history of acupuncture & moxibustion. Analongizing roughly, from the time after five transfer points of 'Ben-shu(本輸)' was absorbed into 'Jing-mai(經脈)' as only the main meridians of the traditional 'Meridian Point(經穴)' and couldn't seem to realize the true self of the original 'Ben-shu(本輸)'. Therefore, various misunderstandings might have occured in clinic, basal narusis, and antiquity of the influenced preconception of 'Jing-mai(經脈)' being first.

  • In this study, the characterization of projects and analysis of R&D products and commercialization performances were done to serve some implications on the policy decisions related to the commercialization of R&D in marine and fisheries sector. A total of 212 R&D projects with 144 ones for marine and 68 for fisheries performed for 5 years, from 2010 to 2014, were sorted and analyzed on the respect of government budget, main performing body, and research period. The R&D result and commercialization performance were substituted to quantitative indicators, such as the number of published papers, the number of patents, the amount of the technology royalty, the number of technology transfers, and the improvement of public service, which were subjects to be analysed. Based on the results, this study suggests the policy implications for the success of national R&D program; 1) diversifying the main performing body, 2) operating the system for sharing research infrastructures among researchers, 3) introducing the adaptable R&D program management, 4) expending the portion of grants without detailed requests for proposal, and 5) leaning the investigation of R&D budgets on projects focusing on the practicalization and commercialization.
