As large logistics buildings have high floor heights and long spans, these buildings are designed as PC structures, and large cranes are used to lift PC members. PC erection planning can generally cause errors depending on the field engineer's experience. To solve this problem, a basic analysis method is needed to establish a systematic PC member erection plan. Crane work can be minimized if the trajectory is easily and quickly calculated according to the location of the crane and applied to the site. Therefore, the objective of this study is a basic study of crane trajectory distance calculation for sustainable PC members erection of large logistic building. In this study, a crawler crane commonly used for lifting PC members is limited. The trajectory distance for the PC erection plan was automatically calculated using the algorithm.
This paper proposes a vehicle trajectory prediction method far application to vehicle-to-vehicle distance control. This method is based on 2-dimensional kinematics and a Kalman filter has been used to estimate acceleration of the object vehicle. The simulation results using the proposed control method show that the relative distance characteristics can be improved via the trajectory prediction method compared to the customary intelligent cruise control algorithm.

Along with the popularity of GPS system and smart cell phone, trajectories of pedestrians or vehicles are recorded at any time. The great amount of works had been carried out in order to discover traffic paradigms or other regular patterns buried in the huge trajectory dataset. The core of the mining algorithm is how to evaluate the similarity, that is, the "distance", between trajectories appropriately, then the mining results will be accordance to the reality. Euclidean distance is commonly used in the lots of existed algorithms to measure the similarity, however, the trend of trajectories is usually ignored during the measurement. In this paper, a novel segment transform distance (STD) algorithm is proposed, in which a rule system of line segment transformation is established. The similarity of two-line segments is quantified by the cost of line segment transformation. Further, an improvement of STD, named ST-DTW, is advanced with the use of the traditional method dynamic time warping algorithm (DTW), accelerating the speed of calculating STD. The experimental results show that the error rate of ST-DTW algorithm is 53.97%, which is lower than that of the LCSS algorithm. Besides, all the weights of factors could be adjusted dynamically, making the algorithm suitable for various kinds of applications.

Workers' anomalous trajectories allow us to detect emergency situations in the workplace, such as accidents of workers, security threats, and fire. In this work, we develop a scheme to detect abnormal trajectories of workers using the edit distance on real sequence (EDR) and density method. Our anomaly detection scheme consists of two phases: offline phase and online phase. In the offline phase, we design a method to determine the algorithm parameters: distance threshold and density threshold using accumulated trajectories. In the online phase, an input trajectory is detected as normal or abnormal. To achieve this objective, neighbor density of the input trajectory is calculated using the distance threshold. Then, the input trajectory is marked as an anomaly if its density is less than the density threshold. We also evaluate performance of the proposed scheme based on the MIT Badge dataset in this work. The experimental results show that over 80 % of anomalous trajectories are detected with a precision of about 70 %, and F1-score achieves 74.68 %.
A collision-free trajectory planning algorithm is proposed to optimally coordinate two robots working in a common 3-D workspace. Each link of the two robots is modeled as a line segment and by their motion priority, one of the two robots is chosen as the master and the other the slave. And the one-step-ahead minimum distance between the two robots is computed by moving the master to the next location on its specified trajectory. Then the nominal trajectory of the slave is modified such that the distance between the next locations of the master and the slave must be larger than a prespecified allowable minimum distance. Here the weighted sum of the trajectory error and the joint motions of the slave is minimized by using the linear programming technique under the constraints that joint angle and velocity limits are not violated. To show the validity of the proposed algorithm, a numerical example is illustrated by employing a two dof's and a three dof's planar robots.
Path planning of mobile robots has a purpose to design an optimal path from an initial position to a target point. Minimum driving time, minimum driving distance and minimum driving error might be considered in choosing the optimal path and are correlated to each other. In this paper, an efficient driving trajectory is planned in a real situation where a mobile robot follows a moving object. Position and distance of the moving object are obtained using a web camera, and the rotation angular and linear velocities are estimated using Kalman filters to predict the trajectory of the moving object. Finally, the mobile robot follows the moving object using a single curvature trajectory by estimating the trajectory of the moving object. Using the estimation by Kalman filters and the single curvature in the trajectory planning, the total tracking distance and time saved amounts to about 7%. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm has been verified through real tracking experiments.
The fatalities of pedestrian account for about 40.0% of all fatalities in Korea 2005. Vehicle-Pedestrian accident generates trajectory of pedestrian. In pedestrian involved accident, the most important data to inspect accident is throw distance of pedestrian. The throw distance of pedestrian can be influenced by many variables. But existing studies have been done for simple factors. The variables that influence trajectory of pedestrian can be classified into vehicular factors, pedestrian factors, and road factors. The trajectory of pedestrian, dynamic characteristics of multi-body were analyzed by PC-CRASH, a kinetic analysis program for a traffic accident. PC-CRASH enables an analyst to investigate the effect of many variables. The influence of the offset of impact point was analyzed by Working Model. Based on the results, the variables that influence trajectory of pedestrian were vehicular frontal shape, vehicular impact speed, the offset of impact point, the height of pedestrian, friction coefficients of pedestrian. However the weight of pedestrian did not affect trajectory of pedestrian considerably.
A guidance scheme that is suitable for controlling the aircraft flight path is proposed. The concept of miss distance which is commonly used in the missile guidance laws, and Lyapunov stability theorem are effectively combined to obtain the aircraft's trajectory-tracking guidance law. Guidance commands are given in terms of speed and flight path angles, but they perfectly reflect any position and velocity errors between real aircraft trajectory and reference one. The proposed guidance law is easily integrated into the existing flight control system. The new guidance law was extensively tested with various mission scenarios and the fully nonlinear 6-DOF aircraft model. Furthermore, the new guidance law was compared with previous guidance schemes in nonlinear simulation. Results from the numerical simulation show that the proposed guidance law yields better performance than previous ones.
