영상처리 기반의 차선인식 알고리즘 (Lane Recognition Algorithm by an Image Processing)

  • We propose a novel algorithm capable of recognizing the road lane by image processing. Considering the fact that the direction and location of road lane are maintained similarly in successive images we formulate a function to represent the property. However, as noises play the role of making a lot of similar patterns appear and disappear in the road image, keeping of robustness in the lane detection has been known a difficult work. To overcome this problem, we introduce the following three ideas: 1) design of a function based on an edge direction and magnitude, 2) construction of a recursive filter to estimate the function recursively for successive images, 3) principal axis-based line fitting. These concepts enhance the adaptability to cope with the random environment of traffic scene and eventually lead to the reliable detection of a road lane.

Timed Petri Net Based Approach for Elevator Group Controls

  • In this paper, an optimal group control for elevator systems is proposed with timed Petri net based approach. Elevator system is modeled by time Petri nets and hall call response times are estimated with moment generating functions (MGFs) methos, which is applicable to real traffic patterns. Two assignment policies are proposed to satisfy the demands of passengers(i.e. hall/car calls) and to handle exceptional situations. In addition, optimal algorithms are implementated to minimize cost functions. THe performances of the elevator system employing the proposed algorithms are compared with each others in ways of several performance measures by a computer simulation.

  • 본 논문에서 우리는 고정된 교통 CCTV 카메라 화면 내에 존재하는 배경의 동적 요소틀을 효과적으로 모델링 할 수 있는 새로운 배경 모델을 제안하고자 한다. 우리의 모델은 [1]에서 제안했던 multiple-thresholded local binary patterns(MTLBP)배경 모델을 확장한 것으로, 가우시안 필터를 통해 화면의 분산된 국부정보를 수집함으로써 움직이는 나뭇가지등과 같은 배경의 동적 요소를 제거한다. 우리는 다양한 실험 결과를 통해 제안하는 기법이 저해상도의 영상에 대해서도 매우 빠르고 정확하게 동작할 수 있으며, 따라서 실제의 응용 시스템에 적합함을 보일 것이다.

  • This Study, as part of a study on the application plan of overseas noise prediction models suitable for making domestic noise maps, analyzed the correlation between the differences in predicted noise levels by individual noise prediction model and surveyed data on General roads and Expressways. Separation distances of 5m and 10m, respectively were set from the ends of the general roads and the expressways at the points of measurements and to check the distribution patterns of sound power levels, the levels were measured at the heights of 1.5m and 3m, respectively. The latest revised versions of the five models (CRTN, RLS90, NMPB, Nord2000, ASJ2008) suggested in The Method of making Noise Maps were used as prediction models, and predicted noise levels were calculated by using commercial software SoundPLAN (Ver 7.1).

The Continuous Service Usage Intention in the Web Analytics Services

  • The World Wide Web (WWW) has continued to grow at very rapid speed in both the sheer volume of traffic and size and the complexity of Web sites. Web Analytics Industry also has been growing rapidly. Web Analytics is to analyze web log files to discover accessing patterns of web pages. In this paper, we identify factors which can affect the continuous usage intention of a firm using services in web analytics services and empirically validate the relationships between the identified factors. For this purpose, we analyze 174 Korea firms. The analysis results show that the satisfaction is significantly associated with service quality and switching cost and the service usage period is not significantly associated with continuous service usage intention. We measure the service quality using SERVQUAL. It turn out that two dimensions of SERVQUAL, reliability and empathy are significantly associated with satisfaction, but another dimension of SERVQUAL, responsibility, is not. Finally, satisfaction is significantly associated with continuous service usage intention.

  • 본 논문은 LTE-A 시스템과 같은 상향링크 다중사용자 환경에서 시변채널을 적절한 복잡도와 좋은 성능으로 추정할 수 있는 적응형 다중안테나 채널추정 기법을 제안하였다. 제안하는 채널추정기가 다양한 시변채널 환경 및 트래픽 패턴에서도 좋은 채널 트래킹 성능을 제공할 수 있음을 보인다.

공공성을 고려한 열차용량 할당 (Train-Fleet Assignment based on Public Interests)

  • In this paper, we consider the train-fleet assignment problem to determine fleet assignment and seat allocation synchronously. An integer programming model of the problem and a decomposition-based solution approach are developed to handle short-term period deterministic orgin-destination demands. The primary objective used in the developed model is to maximize the total number of passengers transported during peak load periods, such as Chuseok national holiday period. Thus, in developing the model we choose to profit-pursuing system. We also show how the proposed model can be readily modified to incorporate profit-maximization. Using the empirical data sets provided by a Korean railroad company, we have tested the proposed solution approach and carried out various comparison analyses by varying traffic demand patterns and train schedules. The computational experiments reveal that the proposed solutions approach produces high quality solutions in reasonable computation time.

일본의 Road Station사업을 통한 지역활성화 사례에 대한 기초적 연구 (A Study on the Regional Activation through System of Road Station in Japan)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual condition of the road station in japan. The thorough investigation and observation works were made from the view points of the location and service facilities of the road station in kanto area. This article discusses about the basic characteristics of the road stations and actual condition of service facilities of 126 road stations in kanto area. The results of this study are summarized as follows; The main patterns of the site by locational conditions are classified in five types. Those are mountain district type, traffic point type, urban district type, riverside type and seaside type. In planning of road stations, locational condition and regional difference of public facilities are crucial factors.

팩시밀리 이용에 따른 교통대체효과 분석에 관한 연구

  • There has been increasing attention paid to the influence of fascimile type of technologies on transportation costs. This attention is noticeable in large business companies, as fascimile become widely available in Korea. The importance of the fascimile usage is that it might effectively substitute for transportation, thereby reducing transportation costs. This paper presents an analysis of cost saving resulting from fascimile usage for substitutable trips. Data were collected from business companies on various aspects of the fascimile usage patterns, with particular emphasis on usage behavior substitutable for trips. Although by no means comprehensive, the analysis revealed that significant benefits can be derived from the usage of fascimile for substitutable trips in business settings. The results of benefit estimation show that net benefits turn out to be 7,608 won and 5,055 won per one usage for large and small companies respectively. If traffic congestion were to be considered, total social benefits would be higher.

기지국 배열안테나의 빔틸트 패턴특성 분석 (The Analysis of beam tile pattern properties of the base station array antenna)

  • 기지국 섹터 배열안테나의 하향 빔틸트 각도를 조절하기 위해 전압제어 이상기를 사용하였다. 틸트 각도에 따른 각 안테나의 위상각을 도출하였으며 이때 생성되는 패턴의 수직과 수평 방향 성능을 분석 평가하였다. 이러한 분석을 통해 이동통신 기지국안테나의 셀커버리지 확보와 통화율 증대, 간섭 저감을 이룰 수 있어 최적의 기지국안테나 설계에 적용 가능할 것이다.
