  • Korean fisheries societies have had many difficulties for economic, social, and living circumstances. The government has tried many projects to improve these circumstances. But the results of the projects did not come up to his expectation. Recently, blue tourism is emerging as an alternative for improving these circumstances. So we applied a tourism value chain model for identifying what value activities and resources needed. According to the tourism value chain model, it was identified that there were six different value activities, i. e. advertising, reserving, moving, experiencing, returning, and after services of blue tourism. To identify which of the resources are sufficient or not in Korean blue tourism, we compared the required resources with actual ones. It was identified that Korean fisheries societies have so sufficient H/W related resources, but not IT related S/W resources, humanware-based resources, some industrial H/W resources and sociocultural resources. Therefore, Korean blue tourism will be activated, we have to concentrate our efforts on supplementing some scant blue tourism resources, i.e. S/W and humanware related resources and developing a variety of tourism programs to H/W resources. Generally, sustainable tourism needs all of S/W, H/W, and humanware resources. So we suggest several policies for the aspects of S/W, H/W, and humanware resources to activate blue tourism. But before carrying these policies out, they should be tested by field studies. And tourism motivations will be also studied because effective tourism marketing is impossible without an understanding of consumers' motivations.

  • According to tourism resources in Kyonggi province, tourist behavior was dramatically different in that tourists utilizing natural resources were mainly interested in static tourism activities and sight seeing activities while tourist using socio-cultural resources preferred with dynamic tourism activities and relaxation tourism. Therefore, the objectives of reconstruction should be adjusted depending on types of tourism resources (i.e. natural and socio-cultural resources) or natural intensity as well as the development goal of recreational tourism. In contrast, historic and cultural resources surrounded with natural resources showed higher revisit rate, and was conceived as better touring site than individual resource because of historical people, traditional custom, natural sight seeing, etc. Therefore, it is believed that proper utilization of natural resources will increase revisit rate and create new conception as a famous touring site.

This article examines perception of whale resources and identifies preferred types of the whale watching program in the feasibility of a whale watching tourism. And also analyzing the causal effect between perception of the whale resources and intention for participating in regarding the types of whale watching tourism. The results of this study showed that there are high interest in protecting and preserving of whale resources and low intention to resume the operation of commercial whale hunting. For utilizing of whale resources, we need to consider developing whale watching tour as ecotourism. The interest and watching for whale resources have a high level of relation with participating intention in whale tourism. Participation of whale tourism will be induced by developing new types of whale tourism to meet the interests for whale resources, This approach is hoped by authors to provide useful data for implementation of whale tour program and establishing improvement plan of whale tourism.

  • Ondal Cave is important and significant in terms of cultural value and tourism. In addition, there are abundant historical and cultural resources nearby. If the geographical strength is taken advantage of, the cave would evolve into a great tourist destination and natural education spot. This paper has investigated humanistic environment of Ondal Cave in considerations for the surrounding tourism resources. There are abundant tourism resources around Ondal Cave. However, they are rarely connected with each other. In fact, they are very partially interrelated around Guinsa(temple) only. Furthermore, the number of tourists has gradually decreased. Therefore, it‘s required to further develop tourism programs and surrounding tourism resources.

This subject has been the object of the most interest and discussion to the geographers for tourism up to now. And from the viewpoint of contents, it has been developed by classifying the types of tourism resoures, which is based on the establishment of the range and standard of tourism resources and the spatial classification of types based on the distribution feature of the area. Second, the approach about cognition, preference and interpretation on the tourism resources as the background to induce tourism phenomenon and decide the tourism destination. • In this study cadmium content of sorghum hybrid (Sorghum bicolor) was analyzed using atomic absorption spectrophotometer at different burner heights (3, 6, 9 mm). We considered the 6 mm burner height condition favorable among the three. The mean Cd content of each treatment are as follows: Alum+NPK, 1.90 mg/kg; Control, 3.14 mg/kg; Compost, 3.35 mg/kg; and Compost+NPK, 4.23 mg/kg.
