  • The purposes of this study were to (a) identify dimensions of relational benefits in the social commerce market, (b) predict the effects of relational benefits on satisfaction, repurchase intention, and word of mouth (WOM) intention, (c) examine the mediating effects of satisfaction, and (d) compare the differences in the effects of relational benefits on satisfaction, repurchase intention, and WOM intention between the two groups of market mavenism. For collecting data, a self-administered questionnaire was undertaken by an online research agency. A total of 490 usable responses were obtained from consumers who have used social commerce sites. The sample included a slightly higher number of females (50.8%) than males and age was ranged from 20 years to 40 years. An exploratory factor analysis generated four factors of relational benefits such as confidence, convenience, special treatment, and information. Multiple regression models showed that confidence, convenience, and special treatment benefits were significant predictors of satisfaction and repurchase intention; the confidence and convenience benefits were significant for WOM intention. Satisfaction significantly mediated the relationship between relational benefits and repurchase intention, and the relationship between relational benefits and WOM intention. The group with high level of market mavenism more highly perceived the relational benefits than the other groups. Confidence benefit had a significant effect on repurchase intention regardless of the level of market mavenism, while convenience benefit had a significant effect on repurchase intention in the non-market maven group. This study discussed the managerial implications for customer relationship management in the social commerce marketplace.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the electrolyte metabolic responses to a 100 km ultra-marathon in 22 male amateur runners. Their average age was $50.91{\pm}4.77$ years old and their $VO_2max$ value was $48.19{\pm}6.4 mL/kg/min$. The participants completed the race with a mean finishing time of $205.55{\pm}19.61$ minute. Electrolyte parameters based on blood tests including calcium, inorganic phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, potassium, chloride, total carbon dioxide, anion gap, plasma volume change and osmolality were measured pre-race, at 50 km, and at 100 km (post-race). Only slight changes in sodium level with no cases of hypernatremia or hyponatremia were observed. Additionally, all the electrolyte parameters changes were within the normal range and plasma volumes were unchanged. Overall, amateur marathon runners are not at risk to develop clinically significant electrolyte or osmolality changes during a 100 km ultra-marathon.

  • The effects of lidocaine on the parameters of haematology and blood chemistry were investigated in the carp(Cyprinus carpio). At low concentrations(100 and 200 ppm) of lidocaine, no significant changes in the parameters of haematology and blood chemistry were observed during recovery period from the treatment of lidocaine. However, at high concentrations(300 and 400 ppm) of lidocaine, red blood cell(RBC) and hematocrit(Ht) value, plasma glucose concentration, and the activity of lactate dehydogenase(LDH) were markedly increased compared with the controls. These increases were maintained for up to 60 min. Based on these results, it is suggested that lidocaine is generally not toxic to fish but has shown the physiological stress responses at high concentrations.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the key factors considered important by customers in the selection of a Korean restaurant through the use of conjoint analysis techniques. A total of 400 questionnaires were distributed over a 2-week period in October 2011, of which 354 were completed (88.5%). Statistical analysis was then carried out using the Windows 18.0 Statistics package. The research was based on the analysis of two target areas - daily meals and special purpose meals. Responses were measured by using Zaichkowsky's Personal Involvement Inventory (PII) and a 7-point Likert Scale. Overall it was found that in all areas of the results regarding the involvement related analyses, daily meals scored lower than special purpose meals. This implied that the choice of daily meals is more applicable to customers with a low level of involvement, whereas high-involvement customers were more likely to focus on special purpose meals. The analysis of high-involvement customers revealed that the quality of food, price, service quality and physical environment, in order of priority, were the most important factors in selecting a restaurant. The use of the optimum attribute combination revealed the following results: delicious food (0.601); friendly staff (0.170); clean restaurant (0.191); price of 20,000 won (-0.513). Furthermore, low-involvement customers considered the following factors as important when selecting a Korean restaurant: quality of food, followed by price, physical environment and service quality in that order. In this instance, the optimum attribute combination showed the following outcomes: tasty food (0.645); friendly staff (0.418); clean restaurant (0.365); price of 5,000 won (-0.847). These results indicated the importance of developing a marketing plan which was based specifically on a customer's involvement level, focusing on their main selection criteria when choosing a Korean restaurant.

  • This research was designed to analyze the relationship among depression level, body cathexis, and clothing behavioral attributes of middle-aged women. Respondents for questionnaire were middle-aged women aged from 40 to 59. A total of 197 responses were analyzed by SPSS 21.0 through t-test, and factor analysis with Varimax rotation. The results were as following. As older, the portion of depressed group increased. Higher in depression level, her body cathexis decreased, meaning those two valuables have negative relationship. Six clothing behavioral factors were extruded: style pursuit, body shaping, showing-off, comfort pursuit, recreativeness, and consciousness of others factor, which covers both physical and psychological aspects of middle-aged women. The difference between 40's and 50's was significant in depression level, however, not significant in body cathexis and clothing behavioral attributes. Except for weight, body cathexis satisfaction level of 'depressed group' were significantly lower than 'not-depressed group', meaning that psychological factor give a significant effect on body cathexis. 'Not-depressed group' tend to choose her own style and 'depressed group' more likely to be conscious of others and conform to the affiliation group. This finding implies that design and coordination of garments for middle-aged women could be recommended according to the depression level to improve the quality of life.

  • In the Northeast of Brazil, expansion of guava crops has been impaired by Meloidogyne enterolobii that causes root galls, leaf fall and plant death. Considering the fact that arbuscular mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) improve plant growth giving protection against damages by plant pathogens, this work was carried out to select AMF efficient to increase production of guava seedlings and their tolerance to M. enterolobii. Seedlings of guava were inoculated with 200 spores of Gigaspora albida, Glomus etunicatum or Acaulospora longula and 55 days later with 4,000 eggs of M. enterolobii. The interactions between the AMF and M. enterolobii were assessed by measuring leaf number, aerial dry biomass, $CO_2$ evolution and arbuscular and total mycorrhizal colonization. In general, plant growth was improved by the treatments with A. longula or with G. albida. The presence of the nematode decreased arbuscular colonization and increased general enzymatic activity. Higher dehydrogenase activity occurred with the A. longula treatment and $CO_2$ evolution was higher in the control with the nematode. More spores and higher production of glomalin-related soil proteins were observed in the treatment with G. albida. The numbers of galls, egg masses and eggs were reduced in the presence of A. longula. Inoculation with this fungus benefitted plant growth and decreased nematode reproduction.

  • The present study surveyed the prevalence of natural infection of the sheep esphagus muscle with sarcocysts of Sarcocystis ovicanis and examined induction of protective immunity using UV-attenuated sporocysts. The overall prevalence of natural infection of the sheep was 95%. Infectivity of the collected sarcocysts was confirmed by shedding of sporulated oocysts after feeding infected esophageal tissues to dogs. To induce protective immunity, lambs were immunized 3 times (once a week) with $1.5{\times}10^4$ sporocysts exposed to UV-light for 30min (UV-30 group) or 60 (UV-60 group) min and then challenged with $1.5{\times}10^4$ normal sporocysts at the 3rd week post the 1st vaccination. These lambs showed high survival and less clinical signs of sarcocystosis than normal infected lambs. The attenuated sporocysts produced abnormal cysts; small in size and detached from the muscle fiber. These abnormalities were more obvious in UV-60 group than UV-30 group. Also, the $IFN-{\gamma}$ level and lymphocyte percentage were increased while the total leukocyte count was decreased in the UV-60 group compared with other groups. The high level of $IFN-{\gamma}$ may be an evidence for the induction of Th1 responses which may have protective effect against a challenge infection.

  • The health-related habits dietary behaviors and nutrient intakes of the elderly living in Cheongju were investigated by interviews with a questionnaire from August to September in 1996. The responses of 169 free-living elderly aged over 65(male 91, female 78) were analyzed. Thirty-six percent of the subjects smoked currently, 33$\%$, drank alcoholic beverages, and 52$\%$ exercise regularly. Exercise was mostly in the from of walking for $\frac{1}{2}$-1 hour. Significantly higher proportions of males smoked, drank, and exercised as compared to females. Food groups eaten at every meal were examined on a 5-point scale, and the consumption scores were compared with groups according to sex, age, smoking, drinking, and exercise habits. The elderly who exercised regularly got significantly higher scores in their calcium intakes and the variety of the 6 food groups than the elderly who did not exercise. The dietary assessment data showed that the energy intakes of males and females were 81.9$\%$and 72.8$\%$ of the RDAs, respectively. The proportions of the elderly consuming less than 75$\%$ of RDAs of vitamin A and calcium were 96.5$\%$ and 91.1$\%$ of the total subjects, respectively. Higher educational status, more pocket money and regular exercise had positive effects on nutrient intakes, while smoking and drinking among females, but not males, had negative effects. Therefore, to improve nutritional status of the elderly, intake of vitamin A-and calcium-rich food such as milk with regular exercise should be emphasized on the education program. • Most education materials on sexuality developed in the past 10 years have not been thoroughly evaluated. This study provides results from a content analysis of 5 education materials for primary, middle and high school student. The results of this study were as follows: The Analysis Framework was developed to measure content in the education materials. It was organized into six domains. They are "Human Development", "Relationship", "Personal Skills", "Sexual Behavior", "Sexual Health", "Society and Culture". Each was associated topics and age appropriate developmental guides. The standard for analysis was the developmental guide suggested by the analysis framework. Each education material was assessed for developemtal guidance and its appropriateness for primary, middle and high school students. The total number of "being" responses to each developmental guidance equaled the score the material earned. These scores then were judged as to how well each education materials was comprehensive. 3 of 5 education materials were addressed as less than half the developmental guidline. Certain education materials were less comprehensive than others. I want to know 'Sexuality' covered the fewest developmental guidliness (34.6%). Interstingly, certain domains received much more coverage across all education materials than others. Most education materials provided instruction concerning "Human Development" (62.6%), "Sexual Health" (61.0%). However, topics such as "Personal Skills" (16.2%), "Relationship" (44.1%), "Sexual Behavior" (46.8%), "Society and Culture" (48.6%) were rarely addressed. Three topic, "negotiation", "sexual fantasy", "sexual dysfunction", were never addressed by most of the materials. Because several of the education material contained gender and sexual orientation biases. Certain topics such as "sexual identity and orientation" and "Gender role" were not adequately addressed by most of the material. Unfortunately, the overall findings of this study revealed that most of the education materials were considered insufficient for students. Because this study focused on whether or not the education materials addressed the developmental guidlines, further research is recommended to evaluate and addressed each developmental guidline.
