패션 스트레스는 어떻게 측정할 수 있는가? 패션 스트레스의 다차원 척도 개발 및 타당화 (How to measure fashion stress? Development and validation of a multidimensional scale for fashion stress)

  • Fashion stress is a pertinent aspect of modern consumer culture that has been underexplored in academic research. This study developed a conceptual framework of fashion stress and a multidimensional scale to measure consumers' fashion stress. The qualitative study included literature reviews on consumption stress, shopping stress, and consumer behavior, as well as focus group interviews to gain insight into various dimensions of fashion stress. NVivo 12.0 was used to analyze the qualitative data and identify core categories following the grounded theory methodology. The quantitative study involved a preliminary and a primary surveys to verify the validity and reliability of the fashion stress scale. A total of 220 questionnaires were used for data analysis. The results show that fashion stress consists of eight factors: care, shopping, fit, brand, financial, closet, style, and disposal. Choice difficulty plays a significant role in all factors of fashion stress. Moreover, shopping stress had a negative impact on impulse buying, while other factors such as fit, brand, closet, and disposal stress had a positive impact on impulse buying. Thus, fashion stress is a potential antecedent of impulsive consumer behavior. The results also confirm the validity and reliability of the scale. The fashion stress scale developed in this study offers researchers a valuable tool for assessing and understanding consumer experiences.

Adjudication in Australia: A Study of Adjudication Activity in New South Wales for 2013/14

  • The Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 (NSW) (the NSW Act) is a unique form of statutory regulation for the building and construction industry, which gives virtually all industry participants a statutory right to, and a means of recovering, payments for work done under a construction contract. The research aim is to examine current trends in adjudication applications and determinations under the NSW Act. The data used for this study was the collected by the NSW Office of Finance & Services as part of a regular reporting regime for the period from 1 July 2013 and ending on 30 June 2014. With just over 817 adjudication applications having been made over the 2013/14 period, the data indicates that adjudication is being frequently utilized by stakeholders in the NSW building and construction industry as a means of progress payment recovery. Adjudication is proving to be a popular choice for those making claims of less than AU$250,000. Claimants were awarded about 36% of the total of claimed amounts and claimants are generally successful at adjudication in terms of the proportion of the claimed amounts determined in their favour. This is particularly so in relation to claims of less than $100,000, which represents about 70% of the total applications made over the reporting period. The data indicates that adjudication fees are generally modest enough to conclude that adjudication provides claimants across all claim ranges with a relatively inexpensive means of having disputed progress payments determined by an independent adjudicator.

코즈 브랜딩 개념을 적용한 화장품 패키지 디자인이 소비자 구매 욕구에 미치는 영향 (The effect of cosmetic package design with the concept of Cause branding on consumers' desire to purchase)

  • 이 연구는 코즈 브랜딩의 개념이 적용된 화장품의 패키지 디자인을 통해 소비자의 선호도와 가치관을 분석하여 니즈를 파악해 소비자를 만족시킬 수 있는 패키지 디자인을 제안하는 데에 목적을 둔다. 화장품 구매 시 패키지 디자인을 구매요인에서 중요시하는 실험집단을 모집하여 코즈 브랜드 제품과 일반 브랜드 제품을 비교하여 설문과 심층인터뷰를 진행하였다. 1차 실험은 패키지 디자인 선호유형 분석 문항에서 추출하여 인지적, 감성적, 행동적 반응으로 분류한 문항을 통해서 총 31명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였고, 2차 실험은 Sheth의 소비가치 기준에서 4가지를 발췌하여 만든 질문을 통해 총 6명을 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 실험 결과, 소비자들은 제품의 정보를 빠르고 정확하게 파악할 수 있는 디자인을 선호하였다. 특히 코즈 브랜드 제품인지 파악하기가 쉽지 않기 때문에 사회적으로 어떻게 도움이 되는지 패키지에 명시되어야 할 것이다.

화상회의 플랫폼의 지각가치에 관한 연구: 휴리스틱-체계적 모델과 가치기반수용모델을 중심으로 (A Study on the Perceived Value of Video Conferencing Platform: Focused on Heuristic-Systematic Model and Value-based Adoption Model)

  • Purpose - Due to the Covic-19 pandemic, the perceived value of video conferencing platforms has been increased drastically. However, there is little guidance on how service providers can improve video conferencing platforms. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that influence the users' perceived value of video conferencing services based on the heuristic-systematic model and the value-based adoption model. Design/Methodology/Approach - In this paper, we theoretically explore the relationship of the antecedents of perceived value(credibility, expertise, attractiveness, economic feasibility, security, and interactivity) and its outcomes (perceived usefulness, perceived risk and perceived value). The outcomes of this research is a conceptualization of antecedents of perceived value supported by research hypothesis based on the existing literature. A total of 100 valid questionnaires were collected to empirically test the research model. Findings - The analysis results showed that credibility, economic feasibility, and interactivity positively influenced perceived usefulness. On the other hand, credibility, professionalism and interactivity negatively influenced perceived risk. Perceived usefulness positively affects perceived value and perceived risk has a negative effect on perceived value. The brand image as a moderating variable was found to decrease the effect of perceived risk on perceived value. Research Implications - The contribution of this study is significant for video conferencing providers as follows. First, a service provider can actively utilize influencers or referees with high credibility and expertise to maximize the perceived usefulness of users. Second, economic feasibility should be ensured in respect of users through various alliance discount strategies. Third, a video conferencing service company needs to build a positive brand image in order to increase users' perceived value.

외식기업 조직진단모형 개발에 관한 연구 - 델파이 기법으로 - (An Organizational Diagnostic Model for Food Service Firms Using the Delphi Technique)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify a suitable organizational diagnostic model for analyzing the management efficiency of food service firms. We used the three-iteration Delphi technique on a panel of 19 business employees, 7 industry experts, and 4 employees in the food service industry. A total of 36 assessment indicators were developed through this panel, with numerous major findings. First, it is important to evaluate the leadership qualities of employees in terms of their motivation and competency. Second, it is important to evaluate the ability of employees to interface well with other employees. Third, it is important to evaluate and manage the brand image recognized by customers. Fourth, it is important to evaluate the fairness and regularity of the rewards given for an excellent job performance. Fifth, it is important to evaluate the level of communication and information distribution in the organizational culture. Last, but not least, it is important to evaluate the transparency and fairness of an organization in its human resource management (HRM) and the efficiency of its organizational structure. In conclusion, this study empirically shows how food service firms can develop an organizational diagnostic model to increase their managerial efficiency.

연예인 스타일리스트의 직무몰입과 만족의 영향요인 연구 - 라이프스타일과 개인-환경 적합성을 중심으로 - (The Influence Factors of Job Commitment and Satisfaction of Celebrity Stylists - Focusing on Their Lifestyle and Person-Environment Fit -)

  • This study identifies the impact of celebrity stylists' individual psychographic characteristics, including their lifestyle, and social characteristics, including person-environment fit on their job commitment and satisfaction. A survey was conducted with currently working celebrity stylists, and a total of 203 responses were analyzed using descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability test, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows: 1) The results of the factor analysis and reliability test on celebrity stylists' lifestyle and person-environment fit clearly revealed factorial structures, respectively. 2) Regarding the results of the influences of celebrity stylists' lifestyle on their job commitment and satisfaction, respondents who had higher new information-oriented, success-oriented, and conservation-oriented, but lower outdoor activity-oriented lifestyle tended to show higher job commitment and role satisfaction of job satisfaction. 3) Respondents who had higher person-job fit, person-organization fit, person-celebrity fit, and person-coworker fit tended to demonstrate a higher level of job commitment and role satisfaction of job satisfaction. Both celebrity stylists' lifestyle and person-environment, which revealed to have a significant relationship to their job commitment and satisfaction, could be used as an index to evaluate potential employees' job attitudes for recruiting celebrity stylist.

의류브랜드 소비자의 고객관계관리 경험에 관한 탐색적 연구 - 남성복, 여성복, 캐주얼, 스포츠의류 소비자의 비교를 중심으로 - (A Qualitative Research about the CRM Experiences of Apparel Brand Customers)

  • The purpose of this study were 1) to analyze customer relationship management(CRM) based on the online customer experiences by product types (i.e., men's, women's, casual, sports wear), 2) to analyze CRM based on the off-line customer experiences by product type, and 3) to examine customer purchase behavior of fashion products and internet usage behavior by product types. Survey and 1:1 interview were conducted from January 13th to May 16th, 2005. Six consumers from each brand (i.e., 3 loyal customers and 3 general customers) in a total of 24 customers were selected from each product type. For the data analysis, content analysis and descriptive statistics (i.e. frequency) were used. Among the key study findings first, as a result of the on-line CRM experience, the customers of men's wear preferred receiving customized information through e-mail or SMS service. The customers of sports wear preferred receiving a different level of information and participating in customized product service. Second, as a result of the off-line CRM experience, the customers of men's wear need to be encouraged to join a membership at a sales encounter and the customers of women's wear preferred receiving quick information of new products and participating in a design development planning of the merchandising process. Third, the purchasing behavior of the customers of women's wear are influenced mostly by the salesperson and the store atmosphere when they purchase clothes and the customers of men's wear are price-sensitive. The results of this study can be used when fashion brands perform strategic planning and decision making on CRM.

A STUDY ON CONSUMER'S READINESS TOWARDS ADOPTION OF LED LIGHT IN INDIA

  • The purpose of this paper is to find out the factors responsible for purchase of LED (light-emitting-diodes) bulbs & tubes among Indian consumers and how much they are ready to replace their existing lighting system with LED fittings. A multiple regression model has been employed to investigate the factors affecting the buying decision of LED lamps in place of CFL and incandescent lamps. Eleven motives for adopting LED lamps has been identified viz. price, quality, energy saving, durability, brand, promotion, CSR, & environmental consciousness. In addition the effect of demographic variables like gender, age, household income on the purchasing decision of LED has also been examined. A total 150 respondents were contacted visiting different outlet of electrical shops of Northern Delhi. The study may helpful for the companies to decide their marketing strategies to promote LED Lamps among the consumers with an aim to save energy and save environment.

LDA 를 이용한 '프랜차이즈 규제' 관련 뉴스기사 토픽모델링 (Topic Modeling of News Article Related to Franchise Regulation Using LDA)

  • Purpose: In 2020, the franchise industry accomplished a significant growth compared to the previous year, as the number of franchise companies increased by 9.0% while the number of franchise brands increased by 12.5%. Despite growth in size, the Korean franchise industry underwent many negative incidents, such as franchise ownership sales to private equity funds, that led to deterioration of businesses. From this point of view, this study aims to make various proposals to help policy makers develop franchise industry policies by analyzing trends of the current and previous presidential administrations' franchise policies and regulations using newspaper articles. Research design, data and methodology: A total of 7,439 articles registered in Naver API from February 25, 2013 to November 29, 2021 were extracted. Among them, 34 unrelated video articles were deleted, and a total of 7,405 articles from both administrations were used for analysis. The R package was used for word frequency analysis, word clouding, word correlation analysis, and LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) topic modeling. Results: The keyword frequency analysis shows that the most frequently mentioned keywords during the previous administration include 'no-brand', 'major company', 'bill', 'business field', and 'SMEs', and those mentioned during the current administration include 'industry' and 'policy'. As a result of LDA topic modeling, 9 topics such as 'global startups' and 'job creation' from the previous administration, and 10 topics such as 'franchise business' and 'distribution industry' from the current administration were derived. The results of LDAvis showed that the previous administration operated a policy based on mutual growth of large and small businesses rather than hostile regulations in the franchise business, whereas the current administration extended the regulation related to franchise business to the employment sector. Conclusions: The analysis of past two administrations' franchise policy, it can be suggested that franchisors and franchisees may complement each other in developing the Fair Transactions in Franchise Business Act and achieving balanced growth. Moreover, political support is needed for sound development of franchisors. Limitations and future research suggestions are presented at the end of this study.

백화점 쇼핑경험 가치가 브랜드자산 및 점포충성도에 미치는 영향 (The Shopping Experience Values at Department Stores and Their Effects on the Brand Asset and the Store Loyalty)

  • 1990년대 중반 국내 유통시장 개방 이후 우리나라 소매업의 가장 큰 변화중의 하나는 외국계 할인점의 등장과 백화점의 급성장이라 할 수 있다. 할인점과 백화점은 우리나라 소매시장의 주류를 이루어온 재래시장이나 슈퍼마켓 중심으로 형성되어 온 유통산업구조 변화를 가지고 왔다. 소매업이 단순히 물건을 구매하는 장소개념에서 즐거움, 행복등 다양한 가치를 제공하는 공간으로 변하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 이론적 실증적 연구를 통해 백화점 쇼핑경험가치가 백화점 브랜드나 이미지에 그리고 충성도에 미치는 영향관계를 파악하는데 있다. 특히 독립변수인 쇼핑 경험가치를 심미성, 유희성, 소비자이익, 서비스 우수성으로 구분하여 내생변수인 브랜드인지도, 브랜드이미지와 최종변수인 점포충성도에 유의적인 영향관계가 있는지를 검증하였다. 국내에 거주하면서 백화점 이용경험이 있는 소비자들을 대상으로 252명을 설문 조사하여, 235명을 분석에 사용하였다. 실증분석은 SPSS 17.0K와 AMOS 17.0을 이용하여 공분산 구조분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 쇼핑 경험가치중에서 소비자 이익을 제외한 변수에서 인지도와 이미지에 정의 영향관계가 있을 뿐만 아니라, 점포 충성도에 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이 연구를 통해서 백화점 고객들은 단순히 상품을 구매하기 위해서 백화점을 이용하는 것이 아니라, 즐거움과 행복이라는 가치를 얻기 위해서 백화점을 이용하고, 어떤 측면에서 이런 면들이 백화점 이미지나 인지도, 충성도에 더 큰 영향을 준다고 할 수가 있다.
