표면파의 수치해석을 위한 인공지능 엔진 개발 (Artificial Intelligence Engine for Numerical Analysis of Surface Waves)

  • Nondestructive evaluation using surface waves needs an analytical solution for the reference value to compare with experimental data. Finite element analysis is very powerful tool to simulate the wave propagation, but has some defects. It is very expensive and high time-complexity for the required high resolution. For those reasons, it is hard to implement an optimization problem in the actual situation. The developed engine in this paper can substitute for the finite element analysis of surface waves propagation, and it accomplishes the fast analysis possible to be used in optimization. Including this artificial intelligence engine, most of soft computing algorithms can be applied on the special database. The database of surface waves propagation is easily constructed with the results of finite element analysis after reducing the dimensions of data. The principal wavelet-component analysis is an efficient method to simplify the transient wave signal into some representative peaks. At the end, artificial neural network based on the database make it possible to invent the artificial intelligence engine.

Analysis of Urban Distribution Pattern with Satellite Imagery

  • Nowadays, urbanized area expands its boundary, and distribution of urbanized area is gradually transformed into more complicated pattern. In Korea, SMA(Seoul Metropolitan Area) has outstanding urbanized area since 1950s. But it is ambiguous whether urban distribution is clustered or dispersed. This study aims to show the way in which expansion of urbanized area impacts on spatial distribution pattern of urbanized area. We use quadrat analysis, nearest-neighbor analysis and fractal analysis to know distribution pattern of urbanized area in time-series urban growth. The quadrat analysis indicates that distribution pattern of urbanized area is clustered but the cohesion is gradually weakened. And the nearest-neighbor analysis shows that point patterns are changed that urbanized area distribution pattern is progressively changed from clustered pattern into dispersed pattern. The fractal dimension analysis shows that 1972's distribution dimension is 1.428 and 2000's dimension is 1.777. Therefore, as time goes by, the complexity of urbanized area is more increased through the years. As a result, we can show that the cohesion of the urbanized area is weakened and complicated.

  • 본 논문은 분산 이동 실시간 시스템의 분석과 명세에서 프로세스와 시스템의 복잡도를 획기적으로 감소하기 위한 방법으로 새로운 이음 선택(Conjunctive Choice) 및 여 선택(Complement Choice) 연산을 제안한다. 여 선택 연산은 두 프로세스의 선택(Choice) 연산이 연동하여 동일한 선택을 도출함을 표현한다. 이음 선택 연산은 프로세스 내의 일련의 선택 연산들 간의 의존성을 표현한다. 이음 선택 연산은 프로세스 복잡도를 선택 연산의 의존성의 수 만큼 기하급수적으로 감소시킨다. 마찬가지로 여 선택 연산은 시스템 복잡도를 선택 연산의 의존성의 수 만큼 기하급수적으로 감소시킨다. 그리하여 복잡도가 획기적으로 감소하게 되어 시스템의 명세와 분석이 용이하게 된다. 이 선택 연산은 ${\delta}$-Calculus 프로세스 대수에서 구현하였다. 또한 예제를 ADOxx 플랫폼에서 개발한 SAVE 도구를 사용하여 보여줌으로써 효과와 효율성을 제시한다.

  • 본 논문은 LLR-BP 복호 알고리즘을 사용하는 LDPC 복호기의 하드웨어 구조 분석하고 효율적인 복호기의 설계 방법들을 제시하였다. 또한 설계 시 복호 성능 및 하드웨어 복잡도에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 다양한 설계 이슈들을 제시하고 복호 성능의 변화를 모의실험을 통하여 분석하였다. 오류확률을 전달하는 메시지의 양자화는 정수부 3비트, 소수부 4비트를 할당하였고, 복호 성능이 저하되지 않도록 사전정보에 정수부 2비트, 소수부 4비트를 할당하였으며 LUT로 구현되는 $\Psi$(x) 함수를 조합회로인 PWL 블록으로 대체하여 하드웨어 구조의 개선에 대해 논의하였다. 복호 시간을 단축하기 위하여 중첩 스케줄링을 적용하고, 각 복호기 구조 및 설계 변수들의 제한에 따른 하드웨어 자원을 비교함으로써, 하드웨어 복잡도를 분석하였다.

  • 실시간 시스템의 복잡도가 증가함에 따라 임시방편적 시스템 해석 방법은 시스템 동작 영역 전체를 완전하게 분석하는 데는 한계가 있다. 모델링을 기반으로 한 정형 기법은 그러한 한계점을 극복 할 수 있다. 본 논문은 모델 기반 정형 기법을 이용하여 실시간 시스템의 안전성 및 필연성 등과 같은 논리적 타당성을 이산 사건 모델 수준에서 분석하는 방법을 제안한다. 먼저, 분석 대상 실시간 시스템은 이산사건 수준에서 계층적으로 모듈화하여 모델을 명세하는 수학적 형식론인 DEVS (Discrete Event Systems Specification) 형식론으로 기술된다. 다음으로, 기술된 DEVS 모델은 시간 명세가 포함된 전역 상태 공간을 표현하는 C-DEVS (Communicating DEVS) 형식론으로 표현한 후 C-DEVS 형식론의 해석 알고리즘을 통해 시스템 동작을 분석된다. 제안된 C-DEVS 형식론 및 해석 알고리즘은 주어진 시스템의 동작 특성을 분석하는 과정에서 시스템의 상태 공간을 완전하게 빠짐없이 탐색하는 것을 보장한다. 간단한 건널목 제어 시스템의 안전성 분석 사례 연구를 통하여 제안된 모델 기반 해석 기법의 효율성을 예시 하였다.

FEA-Based Optimal Design of Permanent Magnet DC Motor Using Internet Distributed Computing

  • The computation time of FEA(finite element analysis) for one model may range from a few seconds up to several hours according to the complexity of the simulated model. If these FEA is used to calculate the objective and the constraint functions during the optimal solution search, it causes very excessive execution time. To resolve this problem, the distributed computing technique using internet web service is proposed in this paper. And the dynamic load balancing mechanisms are established to advance the performance of distributed computing. To verify its validity, this method is applied to a traditional mathematical optimization problem. And the proposed FEA-based optimization using internet distributed computing is applied to the optimal design of the permanent magnet dc motor(PMDCM) for automotive application.

  • Because of a wide range of performance and diversity of project and uncertainty caused by complexity and a number of stakeholder, conflict occur necessarily in Urban generation including large-scale and many project which do the same time, for long time. So active conflict management which recognized risk before the fact and deal with conflict is necessarily needed. This paper based on the conflict cases related an urban regeneration. In those cases, we proposed the reason of the conflicts by analysis the most frequent combination of the conflicts and a case of conflict between each group.

섭동 순궤환 비선형 계통의 신경망 직접 적응 제어기 (Direct Adaptive Neural Control of Perturbed Strict-feedback Nonlinear Systems)

  • An adaptive neural controller for perturbed strict-feedback nonlinear system is proposed. All the previous adaptive neural (or fuzzy) controllers are based on the backstepping scheme where the universal approximators are employed in every design steps. These schemes involve virtual controls and their time derivatives that make the stability analysis and implementation of the controller very complex. This fact is called 'explosion of complexty ' since the complexity grows exponentially as the system dynamic order increases. The proposed adaptive neural control scheme adopt the backstepping design procedure only for determining ideal control law and employ only one neural network to approximate the finally selected ideal controller, which makes the controller design procedure and stability analysis considerably simple compared to the previously proposed controllers. It is shown that all the time-varing signals containing tracking error are stable in the Lyapunov viewpoint.

Comparison of Fall Detection Systems Based on YOLOPose and Long Short-Term Memory

  • In this study, four types of fall detection systems - designed with YOLOPose, principal component analysis (PCA), convolutional neural network (CNN), and long short-term memory (LSTM) architectures - were developed and compared in the detection of everyday falls. The experimental dataset encompassed seven types of activities: walking, lying, jumping, jumping in activities of daily living, falling backward, falling forward, and falling sideways. Keypoints extracted from YOLOPose were entered into the following architectures: RAW-LSTM, PCA-LSTM, RAW-PCA-LSTM, and PCA-CNN-LSTM. For the PCA architectures, the reduced input size stemming from a dimensionality reduction enhanced the operational efficiency in terms of computational time and memory at the cost of decreased accuracy. In contrast, the addition of a CNN resulted in higher complexity and lower accuracy. The RAW-LSTM architecture, which did not include either PCA or CNN, had the least number of parameters, which resulted in the best computational time and memory while also achieving the highest accuracy.

  • Flexible risers have been used extensively in recent years for floating and early production systems. Such risers offer the advantage of having inherent heave compliance in their catenary thereby greatly reducing the complexity of the riser-to-rig and riser-to subsea interfaces. Another advantage with flexible risers is their greater reliability. Concerns about fatigue life, gas permeation and pigging of lines have been overcome by extensive experience with these risers in production applications. In this paper, flexible riser analysis results were compared through coupled and uncoupled dynamic analyses methods. A time domain coupled analysis capability has been developed to model the dynamic responses of an integrated floating system incorporating the interactions between vessel, moorings and risers in a marine environment. For this study, SPM (Single Point Mooring) system for an FSU in shallow water was considered. This optimization model was integrated with a time-domain global motion analysis to assess both stability and design constraints of the flexible riser system.
