A novel architecture and proprietary electronic inks were developed to provide disruptive digital-media solutions based on an electrokinetic technology platform. The flexible reflective electronic media (eMedia) was fabricated by imprinting three-dimensional microscale structures with a roll-to-roll manufacturing platform. The HP technologies enable the required attributes for eMedia, such as low power, transparency, print-quality color, continuous levels of gray, and lowcost scalability. Pixelation was also demonstrated by integrating with the prototype oxide thin-film transistor backplane, and the system architecture was further developed by stacking primary-colorant layers for color reflective-display application. The innovations described in this paper are currently being developed further for the eSkins, eSignage, and ePaper applications.

본 논문에서는, 퍼지 유사도 평가를 이용한 객상인식에 관한 알고리즘을 소개하며, 이러한 알고리즘을 적용한 색상인식 시스템을 구성하였다. 객상의 분포를 판별하는 수단으로써 임의의 색상영역의 색입자 분포를 나타내기 위해 퍼지 멤버쉽을 구성하였으며, 멤버쉽의 평가를 위한 유사도 평가 방법을 사용하였다. 색상 정보는 RGB와 함께 HLS 색 좌표계를 사용하여 색인식의 정확성을 높였으며, 특히 HLS 좌표계 요소 중 Hue(색도)정보의 적절한 사용으로 조명과 재질변화에 강인한 알고리즘을 얻을 수 있었다.

In the present age dominate by both cer-taingty of 1% and uncertainty of 99% 'Fuzzy thinking' of Bart Kosko that is the way to solve the problems by the scientific way through a worldview of Buddhism or Taoism greatly prevails around the world over 'Lateral greatly prevails around the world over 'Lateral thinking' and the authenticity or the right and-wrong of the uncertainty which is the thinking way to find the answer of the problems of illogical way of Edward de Beno against the western vertical thinking were Concurrently fashion designers over the world also adopt the oriental elements. But there exist differences of thoughts between the orient and the occident. And they have dif-ferent thinking way of aestheticism and references of the value on the beauty. Not only beauty but the view through the mind as intuitional thought in which not only the rec-ognition of sense but also the rationalism and the naturalness play key role. The aesthetic sense in the orient contains both the truth and virtue. 2) The beauty of the mean It's from the thought of neutralization of Confucius. The mean or moderation state which in harmony with ethical virtue and aes-thetic beauty is the ideal and is the ultimate. Therefore the thought of Confucian is the creativity in which the balance and the har-mony is most important. Fashion design is also one of the representation of the mean because the spirit of the designer is harmonized for-mlessly with the object of the model of the fashion design. 2) The beauty of skillfulness It indicates the Taoism of Lao-tzu and Chuangtzu. It takes a super-artistic declar-ation that human can feel and recognize the color of colorlessness the sound of sound-lessness and the taste of tastelessness. The thought of arts affected by Taoism is 'ad-vanced age' called the beauty of skillfulness. The view of arts of lao-tzu takes the beauty of cosmos and the nature as a standard. Es-pecially the beauty of inactivity is recognized by the linkage between the beauty and the ugliness. And these things appear in fashion design as a design element such as humor or exaggeration. 3) The beauty of non-dualism It is thought of Buddhism that all evil passions of worry occur form the opposition in dualism. Finally this thought leads to that everything is consistent and truth is only one from the point of view that virtue and vice has on linkage that is 'no virtues no vices' and 'one with two, two, with one, one is not two' A big tendency like this became the root forma-tion of the thought of the oriental arts. 3. Characteristics of the oriental aesthetic sense on the present fashion design 1) The formation of the fashion design on the oriental elements In the picture-incantation which was a representation of an era when the thought of 'cosmic dual forces' dominated the basic polygons of 'a circle square triangle' means both 'one two three' and 'the negative positive mean' of cosmic elements. From this point of view the was of planner cutting in the Orient is dif-ferent from that of the Occidental which is in three-dimensional. The planner polygon type of the cut-pieces comes to have the meaning of the three-dimension when they consist of a suit that has the combination of each cut-piece. This shows the consistency with the principle of cosmos creation of Taoism that one is two two is three and three is every-thing. 2) The coloring and the symbolic represen-tation of the fashion design on the orien-tal elements The sense on the colors in the Orient from the thought of 'the cosmic dual forces and the five elements' is not the experi-enced from the knowledge but contains the consideration of philosophy Five-primary-color representing compass directions Blue(East) Red(South) Yellow(Center) White (West) and Black (North) is called ' the posi-tive' for this five-primary-color secondary-color which comes from the compound of the primary colors is called 'the negative' The thought of 'the cosmic dual forces and the five elements' is also an theory containing the natural order of the cos-mos and this shows the perceptional differ-ence that they are not conceptual but to be recognized and fell directly. A thought of Buddhism which is 'Colors are colorlessness and Clolorlessness are color's proves that. 3) The pattern and symbolic representation of the fashion design on the oriental elements The pattern as a visual style is a figure of symbolic representation which adopt the mental and physical world of human and are the compo-sition of artistic revelation of the human nature and the religous thought of incantation. Es-pecially the symbolic representation of the oriental thought of Confusion. Buddhism and Taoism There are patterns such as plants aminals the oriental four gods and geometry. From the above it's the time toward the 21'th century when the world is constructing one global area and one historical zone. And the exotic mood of the Orient represented in the fashion which doesn't make the common feeling in general does not cease to develop only to express the visual modeling but also adopts the thought religion and the art which are the root of the Orientail and contains inherent willing of modeling.

A CCD-based color uniformity measurement system was set up. Through measuring the two-dimensional brightness distributions of three primary colors on the screen, chromaticity coordinate distributions of combination gray can be obtained within a few seconds. This system can be widely used in the production of LCD projection.

This work reports on three primary color fluorescent white organic light emitting diode (WOLED) with simple device structure where only a part of the hole transporting layer was doped with dye. The maximum luminance of the device reaches $35000\;cd/m^2$ at a drive voltage below 11V and external quantum efficiency of the device is above 1% in the wide range of luminance from 10 to $35000\;cd/m^2$ and reaches its highest 1.6% at $500\;cd/m^2$. The chromaticity coordinate shift of the device is negligible in this wide range of luminance. The blue shift of emission color with an increase of current density was attributed to the narrowing of recombination zone width with raise of current density.

In order to realize full color display, two approaches were used. The first method is the patterning of red, green, and blue emitters using a selective deposition. Another approach is based on a white-emitting diode, from which the three primary colors could be obtained by micro-patterned color filters. White-light-emitting organic light emitting devices (OLEDs) are attracting much attention recently due to potential applications such as backlights in liquid crystal displays (LCDs) or other illumination purposes. In order for the white OLEDs to be used as backlights in LCDs, the light emission should be bright and have Commission Internationale d'Eclairage (CIE) chromaticity coordinates of (0.33, 0.33). For obtaining white emission from OLEDs, different colours should be mixed with proper balances even though there are a few different methods for mixing colors. In this study, we will report a white organic electroluminescent device using exciton diffusion length concept.

Ocean color properties can be quantified by the relationship between the band ratios of the sensor on the ocean color satellites and the measured field ocean color parameters, A tool to determine the abundance of primary organism using the observed ocean color properties from satellite is presented. Coincident to ocean color satellite passes over the Korean waters, the research vessels were deployed to survey the East Sea, the South Sea and the West Sea around the Korean waters, We have been able to have more than 101) data sets containing coincident in situ chlorophyll a and the estimated chlorophyll a derived from SeaWiFS (Sea-viewing Wide Field-of-view Sensor) from february, 1999 to October, 2001. We were able to develop three proper regional algorithms for the East Sea, the South Sea and the West Sea of the Korean peninsula to estimate chlorophyll a, and set up regional algorithms to quantify the suspended solid in the southern sea of the Korean peninsula, Futhermore we were successful in finding out a simple way of estimating chlorophyll a in the turbid water (Case 2 water) using the relationship between in situ chlorophyll a and the estimated chlorophyll a from the processed level 2 data, using the NASA's global algorithm.

A total of 618 photoelectric observations (302 in yellow and 316 in bule) is made in 1982 at the Yonsei University Observatory. Except that of the secondary eclipse the homogeneous coverage of observations successfully secured B, V, and B-V light curves. Enhanced distortions in the light curves are appeared at the phases aroung $0.^P1$, which supports the wave-like migration period of 9.7 years(Rodono 1981). One epoch time of the primary minimum was made by combining the observations in three nights. This minimum time shows that the O-C values are still decreasing and there seems to indication of increasing. B and V light curves of the primary minimum are in strong asymmetry which show less luminous in the third and fourth contacts compared to those of the first and second ones. This asymmetry may be as a result of the reflection of the wave minimum at $0.^P1$, and B-V curve also shows asymmetry, redder at the third contact than the second one by about $0.^m04$. This color difference apperature distribution on the surface of cooler, larger component(KO IV star).

본 연구는 모바일 앱 배색을 위한 색채 추천 시스템의 활용을 위한 연구이다. 이를 위해 선택 색상에 조화되는 색채를 자동으로 추천해주는 머티리얼 시스템과 모바일 웹 앱의 3 배색을 모바일 앱 디자인에 적용하여 배색 실험을 하였다. 그리고 두 가지 방법의 실험에 대한 설문으로 색상 구성과 선택 색상, 결과물의 만족도에 관한 정도를 리커트 7점 척도로 알아보았고, 결과물에 따른 배색 특징을 비교하여 분석하였다. 머티리얼 컬러 팔레트는 정해진 색상의 규칙적인 색조 단계를 자동으로 시스템화하여 색상 선택을 쉽게 하였지만, 모바일 웹 앱 3 배색인 주조색, 보조색, 강조색에 대한 색상 구성과 색상 범위가 다르며, 프라이머리 컬러와 세컨더리 컬러만 선택 가능하여 디자인에 따라 강조색의 선택 기능이 필요했다. 또한 머티리얼 시스템은 색상 범위와 배색 범위가 정해져 있기 때문에 유채색의 사용이 많았고, 대비가 큰 색조나 보색을 선택해도 배색 범위에 따라 배색 결과물의 이미지가 달라져서 배색 범위에 따른 색상 구성의 역할이 중요했다.

컴퓨터 기술의 발달함에 따라 일선 교사들로 하여금 애니메이션과 같을 다양한 시각도구를 이용하여 멀티미디어 교육자료를 고안, 개발하는 것이 가능하게 되었다. 화려한 3D 애니메이션 기법을 도입한 게임, 또는 영화의 특수효과들과는 달리 멀티미디어를 이용한 교육자료들의 경우 정지된 영상이나 2D 애니메이션을 이용한 것들이 대부분이다. 컴퓨터 애니메이션이 학습효과에 도움을 준다는 것은 누추나 인식하고 있는 사실이지만 3D 애니떼이션을 이용한 멀티미디어 교육이 얼마나 학생들에게 효과 있는지에 대한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 1차 색상을 혼합하여 2차 색상을 얻는 기본적인 색채이론 과정을 3D 컴퓨터 애니메이션으로 표현하는 방법을 기술하고 본 시청각 교육자료를 통하여 이루어진 색채교육의 결과가 기존의 방법들을 보완하면서도 어린이들로 하여금 색채이론의 이해도를 제고하는데 미치는 효과를 알아보았다.
