다문화가족지원센터 관리자의 직무 경험에 대한 인식 (The Managers' Perception of Work Experience in Multicultural Family Support Centers)

  • This study identifies the aspects of a managers' perceived work experience in a Multicultural Family Support Center and analyzes how work experience backgrounds are formulated. In-depth interviews were conducted with 10 managers from March to September 2015 to understand managers' work experience. Descriptions from the interviews were analyzed using phenomenological research methods. The result show that their work experience can be categorized into 73 meanings, 10 subcategories, and five themes. The five themes are 'program development,' 'employees assignment optimization,' 'use and control network resources,' 'deal with changes in needs of multicultural families,' and 'supports vs. controls.' The analysis of the themes and subcategories from each theme allows us to first interpret that managers consider their significant and diversified work tasks overwhelming. Second, they find their jobs fit them and feel personally interested with a sense of duty from their work to overcome stress from heavy workloads. Third, managers put a high value on their work as a hands-on experience that is an officially authorized position from the government. Fourth, they are proud that they contribute to offering welfare services to multicultural families as members of Multicultural Family Support Centers.

부모를 대상으로 한 분노조절 중재 프로그램에 대한 통합적 문헌고찰 (An Integrative Literature Review of Anger Management Intervention Programs for Parents)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study is to review literature on anger management intervention programs for parents published over the last 10 years and to extract the key elements of the interventions through an integrative review. Methods: This research was carried out in stages following Whittemore and Knafl's integrative literature methodology. Key words in Korean and English were used to search the PubMed, MEDLINE, EMbase, CINAHL, RISS, KISS and National Assembly Library databases. Several intervention factors were extracted from the selected papers on the basis of the framework which was helpful to identify the intervention patterns and were classified into meaningful themes. Results: The extracted intervention factors from the final nine studies classified into four themes: 1) Modifying irrational beliefs through cognitive approaches, 2) Empowering parenting competencies through learning a parent's role, 3) Utilizing emotion management skills, and 4) Parent-child relationship improvement training based on self-reflection. Conclusion: Four main themes were drawn from the key components of the various interventions. These findings should be considered in practice, and further intervention development studies for parents using these findings should be conducted.

신변보호요원의 윤리적 딜레마에 대한 현상학적 연구 (Phenomenological Study about Bodyguards' Ethical Dilemmas)

  • 본 연구는 신변보호요원의 윤리적 딜레마에 대한 현상학적 연구로 신변보호요원을 대상으로 윤리적 딜레마에 대한 경험적 사실들을 근거로 의미와 본질을 찾아 신변보호요원들의 윤리적 딜레마에 대한 과정과 경험을 연구하여 본질을 이해하고 예방과 대처를 할 수 있는 기초적자료를 위한 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 Colaizzi의 6단계 분석 절차를 사용하여 5년이상 근무를 한 7명의 윤리적 딜레마를 경험한 신변보호요원을 연구대상으로 선정하여, 2015년 10월 1일부터 2015년 11월 20일까지 면접 및 질문지를 통해 자료를 분석하고 연구의 타당성과 윤리적 고려사항을 통해 내용을 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 도출할 수 있었다. 연구 결과 신변보호요원의 윤리적 딜레마의 중심의미는 6개와 20개의 주제진술로 파악되었다. 첫째, 중심의미는 갈등요인으로 주제는 직전관행과의 충돌, 규정 절차 문제, 조직 직무소통, 서비스불일치이다. 둘째, 중심의미는 업무상 역할제한으로 주제는 제도적 관행, 의사결정, 우선순위이다. 셋째, 중심의미는 업무상 상황판단의 어려움으로 주제는 결정의 모호성, 지식 및 경험, 의견대립이다. 넷째, 중심의미는 합리적 자기 방어로 주제는 책임감결여, 합리화, 의도적 외면, 자괴감이다. 다섯째, 중심의미는 대인관계 어려움으로 주제는 상 하관계, 중간 관리자 역할, 비협조적 업무, 불쾌한 언행이다. 여섯째, 중심의미는 비밀유지로 주제는 묻혀진 행태, 불법관행이다.

어린 두 자녀를 둔 3교대 간호사의 양육 갈등 경험: 현상학적 연구 (Experience of Conflict in Three Shift Nurses Rearing more than Two Kids: Phenomenological Study)

  • Purpose: To understand the essentials of rearing conflict experience by three shift nurses in advanced general hospitals. Methods: The design was a qualitative research of phenomenology. Participants were 7 shift nurses working in advanced general hospitals who were rearing young children. Data were collected individually through in-depth interview on their life experiences. Data were analyzed by Colaizzi's phenomenological methodology. Results: Eighteen themes were drawn from 256 meaningful experiences and these themes were integrated to six theme clusters. The most influencing themes were 'Regret that I cannot satisfy even the slightest wish', 'Fail to care for kids', and 'Mutual feeling to care giver between appreciation and inconvenience'. Other themes were as follows: 'Body and mind are broken', 'The need for a three-shift system to support nurses who are rearing children', 'Doing my best for work and child rearing'. Conclusion: The nature of three-shift nurses working in advanced hospital and caring kids is explained as 'lives with conflict' between work and home. This study suggests it is necessary to establish a 24-hour care center for 3-shift nurses to keep working while rearing their children.

  • 훔볼트의 언어관을 테마별로 요약하면 다음과 같이 도표로 나타낼 수 있다. 언어생성 : 언어원형 \$\longrightarrow$ 에네르게이아, 내적언어형식 \$\longrightarrow$ 유추와 통합 \$\longrightarrow$ 언어본질 사회성/화용성 \$\longrightarrow$ 언어적 세계관 =민족 \$\longrightarrow$ 번역의 문제 \$\longrightarrow$ 언어와 사고 훔볼트에서 언어문제는 먼저 생성문제로부터 출발해야 한다. 그의 생성관을 이해할 때 언어의 본질이 이해되고 그리고 언어의 생성과정을 통하여 문법과 하드웨어적인 언어형태를 이해할 수 있다. 그리고 나서 그 언어의 사용처인 사회와의 관계를 조망하면서 민족의 필요성과 언어의 화용성이 동시에 풀리게 된다. 각기 다른 민족의 언어는 다른 세계관을 형성하는데 그 세계관이 즉 민족이다. 이렇게 언어는 상이한 환경과 문화에서 생성 발전됨으로 각각 다른 현상은 음의 현상이나 외관의 현상이 아니고 세계관의 상이성에서 기인하므로 절대 서로 서로 완전한 번역을 불가능하다. 이런 언어는 결국에는 민족의 언어를 통해 개인으로 넘어가고 개인은 각각 자신만의 언어를 가지게된다. 그래서 훔볼트가 말하는 개별성과 보편성의 문제에서 민족마다의 차이점을 그는 개별성으로 이해하기도 하지만 실은 각 개인의 개별성의 의미도 포함하고 있다.

학령전기 아토피피부염 아동 어머니의 스트레스 경험 (Experiences of Stress among Mothers of Preschoolers with Atopic Dermatitis)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore and describe the meaning and essence of experiences of stress in mothers of preschoolers with atopic dermatitis. Methods: This study employed a qualitative research design. Seven mothers of preschoolers with atopic dermatitis were interviewed and the data were analyzed using Giorgi's phenomenological method. Results: Five main themes and 12 theme clusters emerged. The 5 main themes were 1) the mother's enduring heartache from the conflict that arise among family members, 2) the complete loss of daily happiness, 3) the steady stream of emotional fluctuations, 4) struggling to bear the heavy financial burden, and, 5) a life of hope accompanied by stress. Conclusion: The results of this study provide an in-depth understanding of stress among mothers of preschoolers with atopic dermatitis. These results can be used in the development of nursing interventions to provide psychological and emotional support for mothers and family members.

중학교 청소년의 성 의미 (Meaning of Sexuality in Middle School Students)

  • To understand and identity the meaning of sexuality in middle school girls and boys, the qualitative research was done. We made the in-depth unstructured interviews with 33 participants form July to October 1998. We analyzed the data according to the Collaizzi's phenomenological method. After repeated reading and interpretation of data, 15 themes and 7 basic structures were deducted. Followings were 7 basic structures: Physical touch and exposure. relationship with male and female, difference between male and female natural and inevitable life process, something should be hidden. interest and abstinence, and female as victim. According to above results, we would like to propose followings on the sexuality of middle school students : First, the research on the meaning of sexuality of high school and university students should be followed-up. Second. the measuring tool of sexual behaviour of the middle school students should be developed including the contents of 15 themes and 7 basic structures of this study.

Research on Family Life Education Programs in Korea: A Content Analysis of Themes and Theories

  • A conceptual framework, based on a curriculum model of family life education content, and on a schema for analyzing explicit use of theory, was developed to discern the substantive themes of programs and the role of theories in publications on programs for families in the Korean family studies literature. Seventy two journal articles published between 1990 and 2002 were analyzed. The results revealed that the Korean family life education programs dealt with the breadth of topics, but most particularly internal family dynamics and interpersonal relationships, and utilized theoretical concepts as input and output in a different level: explicit, implicit, or no use of theories. Implications for future research and practice in Korean family life education are discussed, including gaps in the substantive foci of programs, and aligning programs more closely with theory.

병원 간호사의 프리셉터 경험에 관한 포커스 그룹 연구 (Focus Group Study on Hospital Nurses' Lived Experience of Being a Preceptor)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe hospital nurses' lived experience of being a preceptor in Korea. Methods: The data were collected in three focus group interviews with 15 nurses in one general hospital. The phenomenological analytic method suggested by Colaizzi was used to analyze the data. Results: Five theme clusters and 11 themes emerged from the analysis. The five themes include "inevitable rite of passage for an authentic nurse", "facing new role and situations that were difficult to handle", "preceptee-centered preceptorship", "healing connection with colleague nurses", and "enhanced status with competence". Conclusion: The findings of the study provide deep understanding on hospital nurses' positive as well as negative experiences of being a preceptor and should inform the development of a more integrative preceptorship program to empower both preceptees and preceptors.

USGS 지하수 연구정책 소개 (USGS Groundwater Scientific Research Policy)

  • 이 현장보고에서는 앞으로 10년간 수행될 USGS 연구정책의 방향과 USGS 수자원국의 지하수 분야의 테마, 생물국의 전략, 그리고 지하수 연구자들의 모델링 분야 보고서 표준화 노력에 대하여 다운사이징의 방법으로 소개하였다. USGS는 생태계와 생태계 변화에 중점을 둔 연구를 최우선 주제로 제시하였으며, 지하수 분야는 특히 이 정책 주제의 중심에 있다고 할 수 있다. 이 소개를 통하여 우리 연구자들의 현재를 돌아보고 앞으로의 계획에 도움을 줄 수 있기를 기대 하는 바이다.
