Photovoltaic energy and wind energy are highly dependent on the season, time and extremely intermittent energy sources. Because of these reasons, in view of the reliability the photovoltaic and the wind power generation system have many problems(energy conversion, energy storage, load control etc.) comparing with conventional power plant. In order to solve these existing problems, hybrid generation system composed of photovoltaic(500W) and wind power system(400W) was suggested But, hybrid generation system cannot always generate stable output due to the varying weather condition So, the auxiliary power compensation unit that uses elastic energy of spiral spring was added to hybrid generation system for the present study. It was partly confirmed that hybrid generation system was generated a stable outputs by spiral spring was continuously provided to load.

Domestic hydroelectric power plants has been manufactured as the design condition by the demand. Hydraulic turbine power plants operating at appointed load shall be operate stable in terms of pressure, discharge, rotational speed and torque. A performance guarantees for hydro turbines shall be contain, as a minimum, guarantees covering power, discharge and specific hydraulic energy, efficiency, maximum momentary overspeed and maximum momentary pressure and maximum steady-state runaway speed, as well as guarantees related to cavitation. But, present in Korea, the absence of testing laboratories and technical criteria for the performance test of small hydropower degrades the efficiency of the domestic hydropower machines, and makes it difficult to objectively evaluate the performance of hydro turbine. Therefore We planned making a basis of performance test of small hydropower turbine by using our flowmeter calibration system the largest one in Korea. We planned the maximum measurable power of hydro turbine will be 200 kW in our system.

Recently, every hospital requires the creative and novel design which is different from the conventional concept to deal with various circumstances. Accordingly, various space arrangements are proposed against the past uniform hospital type. But the sufficient studies about medical facilities in small and medium city and countryside still lack, otherwise there is short but continuous accumulation of data about the study for general hospitals. In this sense, this study generalizes the present medical condition in Ansan city and analyzes the spatial composition and area distribution in departments for the purpose of presentation of fundamental data about medical policy and architecture in Ansan city.

The purpose of this study is to present the design method to embody the cultural heritage and to reproduce the image of Korean Traditional Garden these days. For this purpose, to begin with, the major elements which can be applied to the planning and design were extracted by to study on the prototype of Korean Traditional Garden, and the process and the outcome for reconstruction of traditional garden were presented by design proposal for the Korean Garden in the exhibition space of EXPO '90, the International Garden and Greenary Exposition, Osaka, Japan, 1990. The study on the prototype of Korean Garden is focused on the spatial organization, the facilities allocation, and the gardening technic of traditional garden, and the major contents of the case study are as follow ; (1) To investigate the constraints and the opportunities of site development by the analysis and the synthesis of the site condition for the case study, (2) To study on the planning technic which can be applied to the site, (3) To establish the planning models which can be introduced into the site and to choose the final model by the comparison and valuation of them, (4) To set up the Master Plan on the basis of the final model. In spite of the fact that the method and the contents have a lot of problems, the significance of this study is to present a possibility to reproduce the Korean Traditional Garden these days, moreover to grope for the opportunities to propagate it internationally.

Subway widely used as a major mean of public transportation both at home and abroad contributes to ease chronic traffic congestion in cities. However, subway operating expense is expected to increase continuously because subway requires vast amount of money at the construction stage, huge sum of maintenance cost is spent during operation, and passenger needs for more convenient facilities is increasing. on the contrary to enormous operating expenses, fare that is occupying most of operating income doesn't come up to its prime cost causing chronic operating deficit. It is urgent to prepare fare system improvement measures to increase operating income in order to resolve financial difficulty of a subway operating organization. Therefore, the current study analyzed present condition and problems of subway fare system, and suggested improvement measures such as improvement of fare adjustment procedure, improvement of free-ride system, diversification of ticket, etc.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a Promotion for the Korean convention industry by analyzing the current status and problems in the Korean convention industry. Its fostering plans as follows; 1. Provide educational program such as meeting planners institute (MPI) in the United Statesproduces a range of training program for convention management, together with a certification when a certain level is reached. 2. Construct multiplex-convention center and convention facilities propelling by demand analysis. 3. Strengthen gather information and investigation. 4. Establishment of Korea convention bureau. 5. Strengthen overseas publicity activities through Korea National Tourism Organization and activate the inducement of international convention from the public organizations and institutions. 6. Increased financial and legal support for convention center developers and convention organizers. 7. The rapid growth of convention industry tourism combined with increasing competition, makes integrated networking an imperative tool for ensuring international competitiveness.

This study focused on the generational change of elderly people in the future based on the changes of aging background and household structure. After 2025, when the growth rate of aging rapidly becomes prominent, the generation born before 1961, the baby boomers who were in their youth after the country's liberation, will replace the current elderly generation. This means that the characteristics and values of living of the elderly will change and not pass on to the future, and that the demand for housing will also be different. The purpose of this study is to predict the future elderly housing demand and to find out the issues of housing support for elderly people and necessary institutional support items. For this purpose, the preliminary elderly people are surveyed and analyzed for their present housing condition, perception of old age, housing plan, welfare facilities and demand for living services. The results of this study are meaningful in laying the groundwork for predicting the demand for housing and living support of the elderly in the future and proposing suggestions and preparing related systems.

Recently, according to business conditions ;in domestic are beginning to liven up, there is a lively discussion about new housing construction around the center of the Metropolitan area. It is considerable difficult for estimation of power demand exactly to expand power facilities in these area. However. criterion thesis for estimation of power demand which has been applied in present condition is already passed through the 10 years, the reliability to calculate power demand in these area go down far away. Accordingly, it is raised for methodology to evaluate new type of power demand in new housing development in domestic. This paper presents new criterion thesis for estimation of power demand in new housing development through survey and analysis in example area.

The main purpose of HITES(Highly Integrated Total Energy System) is to build and develop an integrated energy system for power system operational planning and analysis which consists of load forecast, economic generation schedule, stability analysis and relational database system. The HITES can be utilized to supply a stable electric power and operate KEPCO's power system facilities economically. This system was put into operation in 1999. This paper describes the present condition for operation of HITES and proposes the plan to improve this system after installation.
