The present study explored relationships between self-esteem, general self-efficacy and creative personality. The responses of 113 university students on self-esteem, general self-efficacy, and creative personality scales were collected and analyzed by Cronbach a tests, Pearson correlations and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that, first, there were significant positive relationships between self-esteem, general self-efficacy and creative personality. Second, the effects of self-esteem on creative personality were mediated by general self-efficacy. Finally, multiple regression analysis demonstrated that self-regulation and self-confidence among the sub-factors of general self-efficacy were good predictors of the creative personality. From these results we conclude that it is important to improve general self-efficacy in order to develop creative personality.

This paper investigates the effect of weather factors(such as winds, rain, snows, temperature, clouds and humidity) on transmission line outages. The result shows that weather variables have significant effects on the transmission line historical outages and the relationship between them is nonlinear. Multiple regression analysis using Logit model is proved to be appropriate in forecasting line failure rate in KEPCO systems. It could also provide system operators with useful informations about system operation and planing.

This study deals with the method for modeling relationship between human sensibility and design dldments of a product for applying human sensibility to product development, Inorder to extract sensibility characteeristics concerning a product, we figured out the relationship between xensibilith and design elements using corrdlation analysis and multiple regression analysis, and then modeled the realtionship between then through multiple objective linert programming. The results of this study can be effectively applied to develop a product based on human sensibility

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of workplace bullying experience and resilience on organizational commitment in general hospital nurses. Methods: Participants were 250 nurses of a general hospital in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do and Gangwoen-do. Data were collected using the structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Results: As a result of multiple regression analysis, workplace bullying, resilience, clinical career, and work unit turned out to be variables that explained general hospital nurses' organizational commitment (Adj. $R^2=0.17$, p<.001). Conclusion: These findings suggest that bullying and resilience were defined as the influential variables on organizational commitment of nurses. Therefore strategies and programs about workplace bullying and resilience are needed to be developed.

The purpose of this study was to investigate relationship between parent's supportive parenting and adolescent sexual values. The subjects were 137 adolescents who attended high school in Keoungbok. Statistical techniques were Factor Analysis, Crosstabs, Two-way ANOVA, Scheffe' test, Multiple Regression. The results of this were as follows. First, Adolescents who more perceived supportive parenting from a parent were more likely to consult with parents about one's own sexual problems. Second, There was significant difference in adolescent sexual values by parent's supportive parenting levels or gender. Adolescents who perceived more supportive parenting from parent, or who were boys were more likely to have positive sexual values. But there was no significant interaction effect of supportive parenting level and gender on adolescent sexual values. Finally, The Multiple Regression analysis showed that gender was the stronger predictor of adolescent sexual values than parent's supportive parenting.

A total of 20 soybean recommended varieties which were developed until late 1980's in Korea was evaluated at Suwon. Comprehensive evaluation and correlation analysis were conducted on the agronomic characters. Great variations were found in these genotypes for branch number, pod number, and grain yield per plant. The variation in number of pods/plant ranged from 53 to 164, and in grain yield from 25.9 to 68.8 g. The coefficient of variation for most of the characters had a wide range. In correlation coefficient, grain yield per plant showed a positive phenotypic association with weight of pods, pod number of branches, and weight of stem. Multiple regression analysis was done to formulate selection criteria. It indicated that stout and medium-stature genotypes with more branches, resulting in varieties with more pods per plant but with medium-size seeds are available to obtain high-yielding varieties.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate factors associated with childhood obesity. Methods: In this descriptive study, the number of participants was 78 4-6th grade students in a primary school, and the subjects were overweight or obese. Data were collected for 10 days from June 1 to 10 in 2009. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent-samples t-test, $X^2$-test, and multiple logistic regression. Results: Mother's occupation is a statistically significant factor in a bivariate analysis. In multiple logistic regression analysis, the statistically significant factors were mother's occupation (OR=0.17, 95% CI=0.04-0.70) and dietary attitudes (OR=0.08, 95% CI=0.01-0.66). Conclusion: For an effective obesity management program in childhood, it is necessary to consider a mother occupation and dietary attitudes.

In the recent years, development of machine tool with high speed feeding system have brought a rapid increase in productivity. Practically, thermal deformation problem due to high speed is, however, become a large obstacle to realize high precision machining. In this study, therefore, the construction of automatic error compensation system to control thermal deformation in high speed feeding system with real time is proposed. To attain this purpose, high speed feeding system with feeding speed 60mm/min is developed and experimental equation for relationship between thermal deformation and temperature of ball screw shaft using multiple regression analysis is established. Furthermore, in order to analyze thermal deformation error, compensation coefficient is determined and thermal deformation experiments is carried out. From obtained results, it is confirmed that automatic error compensation system constructed in this study is able to control thermal deformation error within $15{\sim}20{\mu}m$.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify influential factors on compassion fatigue in hospital nurses. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive design was conducted with a survey of 358 general hospital nurses in Busan Gyeongnam area. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression were performed using SPSS/WIN 18.0 for Windows. Results: The mean score was 28.53 in compassion fatigue. As a result of multiple regression analysis, empathic ability, stress coping strategy, current workplace, and academic background were statistically significant predictors explained 26.0% of the variance of compassion fatigue. Conclusion: It was suggested to consider emphatic ability, stress coping strategy, workplace, and academic background when developing a program available for preventing and easing nurses' compassion fatigue.

The purpose of this study was to examine family factors affecting compulsive buying behavior. Three hundred fifty-five female college students who had purchased fashion products through Internet shopping or TV home shopping participated in this study. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, t-test, multiple regression, and reliability test. As the results, approximately 18% of respondents were revealed as compulsive buyers. Compulsive consumption scores were correlated to higher previous childhood consumption experience, family matters, parents' compulsive consumption tendency, and reference group. Also, results of multiple regression revealed that previous childhood consumption experience, parents' compulsive consumption tendency, and reference group were significantly related to compulsive buying, Finally, there were significantly differences between compulsive buyers and non-compulsive buyers on previous childhood consumption experiences, parents' compulsive consumption tendency, and reference group. Based on these results, this study would provide significant implications to academic scholars, consumer policy decision makers, and marketers.
