  • The purpose of this is to analyze the aesthetics characteristics of our modern sports fashion, and thereby, discuss them in the light of the overall mentality or the 20th century, and thus, present the conditions or sports fashion design meeting modem people's divers aesthetics values and desired. Modern sports fashion sues can be categorized into futurist sports style, erotic sports style and American sheet sports style. And the 20th century mentality characterized by changes of lifestyle, identity and aspiration has influenced the aesthetic features of such sports fashion sues, which can be summed up as follows; first, the futurist sports style applies the functional items and details of active sportswear to design, while heralding a positive and hopeful message of technology and future by using the material of hi-tech functions and senses. This sports style was affected much by shift from social status, attraction and wealth to demonstration of state-of-the-art science, pursuit of functionality in terms of shapes and materials, convenience through See combinations of sportswear items or design elements. Second, the erotic sports style based on minimalism attempted to express the erotic body beauty indirectly by exposing some parts of body or using the material pressed against the body. This sports style was closely related with the changes of sexual identity such as neutral sexualism, bi-sexualism and homo-sexualism. Lastly, the American street sports style was born from black Americarns' sports and dances. This spors style pursues “youth” beyond TPO concept As mass media and commercial sports developed, the young generation copied sports stars' uniforms or fashions to share honor, wealth and youth with them. In sort, the American sheet sports style was affected much by the so-called “heroism”. Such a changed object of aspiration influenced the aesthetic characteristics of American shot sports style directly.

  • Bangladesh that is known as the poorest country of the world has the large land of fertile soil and very good environment to live, even though we think she may be very bad to live. People being habituated to that good environment, the population explosion made the people to be starven, but the treatment has been simple support without deep analysis of the root of poverty. As the result it is general that the poverty is severer and severer in spite of continuous support. For the last century Korea changed from the country of poverty and despair to that of development and hope, to be model mid vision of under development countries including Bangladesh. At this point it is necessary to look back the way of development to help them to solve their poverty problem. That is the goal of this project, and this thesis is the result of it. It is evaluated for the 1st 5 years work of the project to apply the result to the next 5 years plan. This project had been proceeded from 1. Jul. 1990 to 30. Jun. 1995 at Chilmari area of Bangladesh, with teaching and training to wake up the mentality of the people, demonstration farming and cooperative association. It is the conclusion that after solving the problem of thought and mentality, the education, technology and money can be effective for development. • Purpose: A missed fracture is a very common occurrence in the Emergency Department (ED) and can have serious results because of delays in treatment, resulting in long-term disability. It is also one of the most common causes leading to medical legal issues. We analyzed the causes of missed fractures by using a bone scan which is known to be an effective tool for diagnosing bony lesions. Methods: We reviewed the medical records of trauma patients who underwent a bone scan after being discharged the ED from September 2006 to March 2008. Cases of missed fractures were identified by using electronic medical records to review each diagnosis. Definition of missed fracture was read after bone scan by radiologist. We decided that there was no fracture if we read 'trauma-related lesion' or 'cannot rule out fracture' on a bone scan read by a radiologist. Enrolled patients were analyzed by age, sex, time until bone scan and Injury Severity Score (ISS). Patients were divided into two groups, alert mentality and not-alert mentality, so there were split between a diagnosis group and a missed fracture group. ISS was also used in determining the severity of the patient's injury upon discharge from the ED. Results: A total of 532 patients were enrolled in this study. Of those, 487 patients were in the diagnosis group, and 45 patients (8.4%) were discovered to have had a fracture. Of the 45 missed fracture patients, 34 patients (6.4%) had one-site fractures, 8 patients (1.5%) had two-site fractures, and 3 patients (0.6%) had three-site fractures. The most commonly missed fracture was multiple rib fractures (18 patients, 30.5%), followed by lumbosacral (LS) spine fractures (10 patients, 16.9%), thoracic spine fractures (8 patients, 13.6%), and clavicle fractures (6 patients, 10.2%). Mean age was $50.12{\pm}18.54$ years in the diagnosis group and $57.38{\pm}16.88$ years in the missed fracture group. For the diagnosis group, the mean ISS was $9.03{\pm}8.26$, but in the missed fracture group it was $17.53{\pm}9.69$. Missed fractures were much more frequent in the not-alert mentality (p<0.01) and in the high (ISS$ ISS{\geq}16$) group (p<0.01). Conclusion: Missed fractures occur most frequent in patients of old age, not-alert mentality, and high ISS. Multiple rib and spine fractures were found to be the most frequent missed fractures, regardless of trauma severity. This study also shows a high possibility of clavicle and scapula fractures in patients with severe trauma.

  • This paper aims to investigate the factors affecting the quality of rural labor in Vietnam, a case study in Thai Nguyen province. For this purpose, we establish an integrated framework of factors affecting the quality of rural labor. We use Fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (Fuzzy-AHP) to assess the weight of the criteria and sub-criteria of rural labor quality. This method introduced by Saaty (1987) is a useful tool to cope with the complexity of decision-making. The Fuzzy-AHP is one of the most common Multi-Criteria Decision-Making instruments for dealing with quantifiable and intangible criteria, which reflect the relative importance of the alternatives based on constructing a pairwise comparison matrix. The results show that the four most weighted factors are institutions, local government policies, technical qualifications, and mentality. In particular, the weight of the institution is the largest (0.2343), meaning that this factor is the most important one affecting the quality of rural labor in Thai Nguyen province. The weight of local government policy is close to that of institution, about 0.2259. The weights of technical qualification and mentality are 0.1238 and 0.1135, respectively. In addition, age and education levels do not significantly affect the rural labor quality of Thai Nguyen province.

  • This article aimed at identifying the concept of 'artistic-quality' of furniture and presenting the concept of 'artistic-quality based furniture creation' as the future direction of furniture design. For this, the authors approached to the theoretical background of the concept of artistic-quality, and then examined the prospect of practical application of the concept by analyzing the tendencies in today's art furniture. In this light, 'artistic-quality' of furniture could be understood as a quality that triggers the designer's venturous spirit throughout the process of furniture creation, so that the designer keeps seeking for the novelty and innovation in his experimental design and process. The feature of the current tendencies of art furniture in terms of the expression and effect, which could explain this venturous spirit of artistic-quality based furniture creation, could be summarized as follows; first, High-touch: Furniture that exemplifies the artistic-quality by specific texture of handmade quality, second, High-feeling: Furniture that arouses the new feelings and new concepts of furniture structure & function by experiments on new abstract forms of furniture, and third, High-mentality: Furniture that leads us to the sphere of subtle aesthetic recognition and mentality with its specific poetic expression and sensibility.

  • This study is intended to identify various reasons on the 'body' of women described in the paintings by Le Corbusier. As a great artist in the field of modern architecture, various figures of 'body' of women he painted were not a mere physiological body of a woman but a meaningful figure combined with many different types of concept in the social and cultural context. In the field of art, body is recently seen as a 'tool for thinking' that studies dealing with it are being actively conducted. Seen in this context, it is feasible to read the situations and causes at that time through movement and changes in the figure of women's bodies described in his painting. Even if it was a speculative inference, this study aimed examining what reasons and perspective Le Corbusier had when painting women's bodies and what message he intended to convey. Reasons on the 'bodies' of women derived in this study serve as an essence of mentality in understanding the spatial design that was constructed around the time of period. Adopting a different view from many of previous studies in the aspect of skills and spaces, it was intended to study changes in the complex and integrated causes in both spatial design and painting and re-interpret an essence of mentality of the spatial design in the humanistic approach according to the notions in society and culture.
