  • One dimensional collision analysis is often used to simulate a train-to-train coupling or collision accident. But there are various numerical modeling techniques utilized for dynamic models of rolling stocks such as a lumped-spring-mass model or a bar-mass model. In rolling stock industries, a lumped-spring-mass model is mainly applied without consideration of bogie attachments separately. In this case, a dynamic stiffness coefficient is introduced to compensate the overestimated car mass effects due to the linkage stiffness of bogies and seats. In this paper, the effects of dynamic stiffness coefficients and wheel-rail friction coefficients were studied by simulating a bar-mass model with bogie attachments separately.

Evaluation of dynamic muscle fatigue model to predict maximum endurance time during forearm isometric contraction (전완의 등척성 수축시 최대근지구력시간을 예측하기 위한 동적근피로모델의 평가)

  • Muscle fatigue models to predict maximum endurance time (MET) are broadly classified as either 'empirical' or 'theoretical'. Empirical models are based on fitting experimental data and theoretical models on mathematical representations of physiological process. This paper examines the effectiveness of dynamic muscle fatigue model as theoretical model to predict maximum endurance time during forearm isometric contraction. Forty volunteers (20 females, 20 males) are participated in this study. Empirical models (exponential model and power model) and theoretical model (dynamic muscle fatigue model) are used to compare. Mean absolute deviation (MAD), correlation coefficient (r) and intraclass correlation (ICC) are calculated between theoretical model and empirical models. MAD are below 3.5%p, r and ICC are above 0.93 and 0.87, respectively. This results demonstrate that dynamic muscle fatigue model as theoretical model is valid to predict MET.

  • Disk type underwater gliders are a new type of underwater gliders and they could glide in various directions by adjusting the internal structures, making a turnaround like conventional gliders unnecessary. This characteristic of disk type underwater gliders makes them have great potential application in virtual mooring. Considering dynamic models of conventional underwater gliders could not adequately satisfy the motion characteristic of disk type underwater gliders, a nonlinear dynamic model for the motion simulation of disk type underwater glider is developed in this paper. In the model, the effect of internal masses movement is taken into consideration and a viscous hydrodynamic calculation method satisfying the motion characteristic of disk type underwater gliders is proposed. Through simulating typical motions of a disk type underwater glider, the feasibility of the dynamic model is validated and the disk type underwater glider shows good maneuverability.

  • In this paper, due to the network security defense is mainly static defense, a dynamic classification network security defense strategy model is proposed by analyzing the security situation of complex computer network. According to the network security impact parameters, eight security elements and classification standard are obtained. At the same time, the dynamic classification algorithm based on fuzzy theory is also presented. The experimental analysis results show that the proposed model and algorithm are feasible and effective. The model is a good way to solve a safety problem that the static defense cannot cope with tactics and lack of dynamic change.

  • In this paper, an analytical model is developed to describe the dynamic characteristics of a roller bearing. In order to obtain accurate dynamic response of roller bearing, each roller is modeled as a rigid body, which has radial and axial movement and rotational constraints. Beam element between outer race segments is used to consider flexibility of outer race. Beam deflection is calculated from beam forces and used for contact between roller and outer race. The efficient contact search kinematics and algorithms in the context of the compliance contact model are implemented to detect the interactions between roller and race for the sake of speedy and robust solutions. The numerical results are validated with another analysis results which are calculated using waviness condition. Increasing rollers, dynamic responses are compared with each other. In order to confirm dynamic behavior and nonlinear characteristic of roller bearing, Poincare map is used.

  • Dynamic optimization with partially structured model in a slurry-phase HDPE reactor is implemented by the modified hierarchical dynamic optimization. Dynamic Tracking Aggregation with Transformers for RGB-T Tracking

  • RGB-thermal (RGB-T) tracking using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) involves challenges with regards to the similarity of objects, occlusion, fast motion, and motion blur, among other issues. In this study, we propose dynamic tracking aggregation (DTA) as a unified framework to perform object detection and data association. The proposed approach obtains fused features based a transformer model and an L1-norm strategy. To link the current frame with recent information, a dynamically updated embedding called dynamic tracking identification (DTID) is used to model the iterative tracking process. For object association, we designed a long short-term tracking aggregation module for dynamic feature propagation to match spatial and temporal embeddings. DTA achieved a highly competitive performance in an experimental evaluation on public benchmark datasets.

  • In this study a tracked vehicle is idealized as a 2-dimensional 9-degrees-of-freedom model which takes into account the effects of HSU units, torsion bars, and track. For the model equations of motion are derived using Kane's method. By using the equations of motion, a numerical example is solved and results are compared to those obtained by using a general purpose multi body dynamic analysis program. The comparison study shows the reasonable coherence between the two results. which confirms the effectiveness of the model. With the model, dynamic response optimization is carried out. The objective function is the peak value of the vertical acceleration of the vehicle at the driver's seat, and the constraints are the wheel travel limits, the ground clearance. and the limits of other design variables. Three different sets of design variables are chosen and used for the optimization. The results show the attenuation of the acceleration peak value. Thus the procedure presented in this study can be utilized for the design improvement of the real system.
