University libraries have been attempting to reorganize their space through new building construction and remodeling to cope with the rapid changes in information and communication technologies and university environment. These changes seem to reflect the need for the shift of the university library functions toward the facilitator role of enabling continuous learning and research through space reorganization beyond the traditional supporter role of preserving and supplying library materials and providing learning space and services to university members. Despite all these changes of university library space functions, however, their assessment has been still limited to the library users' satisfaction and usage changes before and after library building renovation or new construction, calling for the need to develop proper measurement tools for evaluating the library functions as learning commons that reflect university vision and goals. Therefore, this study intends to analyze the trend of space reorganization practices in university libraries and the studies of evaluating its effect, in order to develop tools to evaluate the effectiveness of space reorganization and to provide basic data for future space reorganization and assessment strategies.

Environmental degradation and economic bipolarization have become major issues as the aftermath of the globalizing capitalism. Commons have received attention as an alternative to capitalistic use of resources. The most representative is the neo-institutionalist approach where Elinor Ostrom's study summarizes fundamental principles of common resource management. Maria Mies also insists that co-relationship in a community is the most essential to manage common resource successful. In a similar vein, this study attempts to prove that common resource management can create solutions to socioeconomic problems and ways to prevent resource scarcities in the future. Jeju-Haenyeo community is chosen as a successful case to be examined based on the fundamental principles of commons and community. Qualitative surveys have preceded for Jeju-Haenyeo to elaborate and extend the aspects of common resource use and management. This study can bring a positive influence on understanding the Jeju-Haenyeo community and other common resources management institutions.

Due to the development of spectrum use technology and various services based on radio spectrum, the scarcity of spectrum has been heightened. In this circumstances both the efficiency and fairness of spectrum use need to be raised. Open spectrum access can be a useful approach for both goal. For the open spectrum access the legal institution needs to be reformed to enable it. From the starting point of spectrum use till the end of spectrum use there can be various issues of rights and obligations. So the legal institution for various legal status of spectrum use and establishment and continuous management of DB and fast and respectable dispute resolution mechanism is required.

This study was carried out to understand the architectural characteristics of farmhouse among the commons house. The subject of study are selected the seventeen farmhouse built 50-60 years ago at Hyunri in Munkyung. It was analyzed and classified the architectural characteristics of plan and arrangement at a farmhouse. In conclusing, their farmhouses are appeared the different characteristics in comparison with other area. With the arrangement of building and composition of plan, it was discovered that it connotes an idea of the confucian ideas from separation of the inside and outside space; men and women. Also, it was found that it has become to the rational separation of spaces from location of entrance, division of the outside space(Madang) and arranged space of inside at farmhouse.

Scene change detection is an important topic because of the wide and growing range of its applications. Streaming services from many providers are increasing their capacity which causes the industry growth. The method for the scene change detection is described here and compared with the State-of-the-Art methods over the Open Video Scene Detection (OVSD) - an open dataset of Creative Commons licensed videos freely available for download and use to evaluate video scene detection algorithms. The proposed method is based on scene analysis using threshold values and smooth scene changes. A comparison of the presented method was conducted in this research. The obtained results demonstrated the high efficiency of the scene cut localization method proposed by authors, because its efficiency measured in terms of precision, recall, accuracy, and F-metrics score exceeds the best previously known results.

We use floor radiant heating system in the house of commons in winter Floor radiant heating system, which transfer heat by radiation, is one of the energy efficient and comfortable systems that. Floor radiant heating system is configured to be controlled by the room for energy-saving. Proper flow rate to a comfortable heating in the room is important. However, Using a constant speed circulation pump in separate rooms, heating system may cause an imbalance because of the difference of length of coil when operating in the rooms. In this study, our Research team examined heating imbalance due to the variation length through the coil length changes and flow control of the circulation pump.

During the urbanization progresses, apartments such as the house of commons, representing our homes are situated in space. However, many consumer problems of our country's apartment house are caused by the government's failure of housing policy and consumer dispute resolution system In this study, apartment house and alleviate consumer disputes relating to in proactive ways to improve the government's housing policy was presented. At the same time, since the revision of Consumer Fundamental Act on collective alternative dispute resolution system has proposed scheme, this occurred after a dispute to resolve the dispute can be more efficient ways.

The clinical features of 178 patients with tinea corporis from January to December 2008 in Catholic Skin Clinics were evaluated. KOH examination and culture from the patients lesions were performed. And cultured dermatophytes were identified by colony morphology and microscopic findings. The ratio of male to female with the infection was about 1.3:1 and showed more prevalence in male. The unexposed area (84.5%) was more frequently affected than exposed (15.5%) and the most common site was buttock. Coexisting dermatophytoses in patients with tinea corporis were noted in 27 cases and the most commons were tinea pedis. The isolated dermatophytes were composed of Trichophyton rubrum (91.7%), Microsporum canis (2.6%), T. verrucosum (2.6%), T. mentagrophytes (1.7%), and T. tonsurans (1.7%).

Recent advances in deep learning for speech and visual recognition have accelerated the development of multimodal speech recognition, yielding many innovative results. We introduce a Korean audiovisual speech recognition corpus. This dataset comprises approximately 150 h of manually transcribed and annotated audiovisual data supplemented with additional 2000 h of untranscribed videos collected from YouTube under the Creative Commons License. The dataset is intended to be freely accessible for unrestricted research purposes. Along with the corpus, we propose an open-source framework for automatic speech recognition (ASR) and audiovisual speech recognition (AVSR). We validate the effectiveness of the corpus with evaluations using state-of-the-art ASR and AVSR techniques, capitalizing on both pretrained models and fine-tuning processes. After fine-tuning, ASR and AVSR achieve character error rates of 11.1% and 18.9%, respectively. This error difference highlights the need for improvement in AVSR techniques. We expect that our corpus will be an instrumental resource to support improvements in AVSR.

The objectives of this study were to compare alternative agri-food system among Korea, Japan, USA and Italy. This study explore the situation and its challenge of alternative agri-food system. Alternative agri-food system is movement against global agri-food system and food multinationalization. Four alternative agri-food system not only have something in common but also have something in difference. We tried to make clear the commons and differences. But many these ideas were useful in someways, but none could be used to explain everything. This study was the touchstone of Korea's alternative agri-food system. We introduced simplistic ideas and compared four alternative agri-food system. This study sparking renewed discussion about Korea's alternative agri-food system, namely, 'The domestic farm products are the best movement'.
