AN ANALOGUE OF THE HILTON-MILNER THEOREM FOR WEAK COMPOSITIONS

  • Let $\mathbb{N}_0$ be the set of non-negative integers, and let P(n, l) denote the set of all weak compositions of n with l parts, i.e., $P(n,l)=\{(x_1,x_2,{\cdots},x_l){\in}\mathbb{N}^l_0\;:\;x_1+x_2+{\cdots}+x_l=n\}$. For any element $u=(u_1,u_2,{\cdots},u_l){\in}P(n,l)$, denote its ith-coordinate by u(i), i.e., $u(i)=u_i$. A family $A{\subseteq}P(n,l)$ is said to be t-intersecting if ${\mid}\{i:u(i)=v(i)\}{\mid}{\geq}t$ for all $u,v{\epsilon}A$. A family $A{\subseteq}P(n,l)$ is said to be trivially t-intersecting if there is a t-set T of $[l]=\{1,2,{\cdots},l\}$ and elements $y_s{\in}\mathbb{N}_0(s{\in}T)$ such that $A=\{u{\in}P(n,l):u(j)=yj\;for\;all\;j{\in}T\}$. We prove that given any positive integers l, t with $l{\geq}2t+3$, there exists a constant $n_0(l,t)$ depending only on l and t, such that for all $n{\geq}n_0(l,t)$, if $A{\subseteq}P(n,l)$ is non-trivially t-intersecting, then $${\mid}A{\mid}{\leq}(^{n+l-t-l}_{l-t-1})-(^{n-1}_{l-t-1})+t$$. Moreover, equality holds if and only if there is a t-set T of [l] such that $$A=\bigcup_{s{\in}[l]{\backslash}T}\;A_s{\cup}\{q_i:i{\in}T\}$$, where $$A_s=\{u{\in}P(n,l):u(j)=0\;for\;all\;j{\in}T\;and\;u(s)=0\}$$ and $$q_i{\in}P(n,l)\;with\;q_i(j)=0\;fo\;all\;j{\in}[l]{\backslash}\{i\}\;and\;q_i(i)=n$$.

대한민국 성인의 대사증후군 유무에 따른 빈혈과 사구체 여과율 및 알부민뇨의 연관성: 국민건강영양조사 V-3 분석 (Associations between Anemia and Glomerular Filtration Rate and Albuminuria in Korean Adults by Metabolic Syndrome Status: Analysis of KNHNES V-3 Data)

  • 본 연구는 대한민국 성인을 대상으로 대사증후군(metabolic syndrome, MetS) 유·무에 따른 빈혈과 추정 사구체여과율(estimated glomerular filtration rate, eGFR) 및 요 미세 알부민/크레아티닌 비율(urine microalbumin/creatinine ratio, uACR)의 관련성을 평가하기 위하여 2012년 국민건강 영양조사(KNHNES V-3) 자료를 활용하여 20세 이상 성인 4,943명을 대상으로 데이터를 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 몇 가지 중요한 발견이 있었다. 첫째, 비 MetS 그룹에서는 정상군(eGFR≥60 mL/min/1.73 m2 및 uACR<30 mg/g)의 빈혈(남성, 헤모글로빈[hemoglobin, Hb]<13 g/dL; 여성, Hb<12 g/dL)의 발생률에 비하여 감소된 eGFR 그룹(eGFR<60 mL/min/1.73 m2; odds ratio [OR], 3.65; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.90~7.00) 및 감소된 eGFR+증가된 uACR 그룹(eGFR<60 mL/min/1.73 m2 및 uACR≥30 mg/g, OR, 6.00; 95% CI, 2.61~13.80)의 빈혈 발생률이 높았다. 둘째, MetS 그룹에서는 정상군에 비하여 증가된 uACR 그룹(OR, 2.18; 95% CI, 1.11~4.27), 감소된 eGFR 그룹(OR, 3.73; 95% CI, 1.09~12.75) 및 감소된 eGFR+증가된 uACR 그룹(OR, 18.17; 95% CI, 6.16~53.63)의 빈혈 발생률이 높았다. 결론적으로, 비 MetS 그룹에서는 빈혈은 eGFR의 감소와 관련이 있었고, MetS 그룹에서는 빈혈은 eGFR 감소 및 uACR 증가와 관련이 있었다. 추가적으로, 비 MetS 그룹과 MetS 그룹 모두에서 eGFR의 감소 및 uACR의 증가가 동시에 나타날 때 빈혈의 발생률이 크게 증가하였다.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concepts of ([r, s], [t, u])-interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy alpha generalized closed and open sets in the interval-valued intuitionistic smooth topological space and ([r, s], [t, u])-interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy alpha generalized continuous mappings and then investigate some of their properties.

  • The United States understood the fostering of pro-U.S. elites in "free world" countries as an important Cold War weapon. From 1954 to 1962, the U.S provided considerable assistance to Seoul National University (SNU) for its postwar rehabilitation and future development in terms of repair and construction of campus buildings, equipment and book purchases, and faculty exchanges. With the aid of this educational assistance project widely known as the Minnesota Project, SNU was reborn with an academic orientation to the U.S., separating itself from the Japanese education that was its origin. This study argues that the Minnesota Project played an important role in crafting SNU's architecture program and the exchange program's recipients as key "knowledge brokers." For individual trainees, experience in the U.S., as opposed to a backwards situation in their homeland, had allowed them to recognize the U.S. as an ideal source of knowledge. Since the Minnesota Project, SNU's Architectural Engineering Department was filled with faculty members who had trained or studied in the U.S., which became a significant distinction of SNU's architecture program in sharp contrast to its counterparts at Hanyang University and Hongik University where most of the faculty members studied in Japan during the Japanese colonial period. As many graduates of SNU had been appointed as faculty members in newly-founded architecture programs in South Korea, a hierarchical diffusion path had emerged in architectural education that led from SNU to other school's architecture programs, with the U.S. at the apex. The legacy of the Minnesota Project extended over the next few decades, in which studying architecture in the U.S. was recognized as a shortcut to success in the field.

u-Health SW의 BMT를 위한 신뢰성 모델 (Reliability Model for u-Health SW's BMT)

  • 유헬스(u-Health)는 유비쿼터스(ubiquitous)와 헬스(health)의 약어로서 환자가 병원을 찾아가지 않더라도 "언제나, 어디서나" 질병의 예방, 진단, 치료, 사후관리를 받을 수 있는 의료 서비스를 말한다. 유헬스(u-Health)는 개인의 생체신호 및 건강정보의 측정 및 전송하여 분석 및 피드백의 과정으로 구성되며 개인의 생체신호 및 건강정보를 측정(sensing)해 건강관리회사나 의료기관이 운영하는 건강정보 시스템으로 전송한다. 건강정보시스템이 전송된 정보에 패턴을 분석해 주면, 건강관리사나 주치의는 대상고객에 대해 원격으로 건강관리 및 의료서비스를 제공하는 것을 뜻한다. 본 연구에서는 u-Health의 국내외 동향과 u-Health의 BMT를 위한 신뢰성 모델을 제시하고자 한다.

혈위초음파요법과 추나요법이 요통환자 척추 기립근의 경근전도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Ultra Sound and Chuna in Patients with Lumbago by Meridian Muscle Electrography)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of ultra sound (U/S) and chuna on lumbago by meridian muscle electrography (MMEG). we performed U/S and chuna on erector spinae muscle. Methods This study was carried out on 20 lumbago patients. 20 patients were divided into U/S group and chuna group. U/S group take treatment 5 minutes. Chuna group take treatment 10 minutes. After performing U/S and chuna treatment 6 times, we compared both in terms of VAS, ODI, ROM, root mean square (RMS) and special edge frequency (SEF) on erector spinae muscle. The effect of each treatments are compared by Wilcoxon's signed rank test. The difference of effect between both groups are compared by Wilcoxon's rank-sum test. Results 1. Both U/S group and chuna group showed significant improvement in VAS and ODI after treatment. 2. U/S group showed insignificant improvement in both RMS and SEF. 3. Chuna group showed significant improvement in SEF at left lower point and RMS at left upper point. 4. Both U/S group and chuna group showed insignificant improvement in ROM. 5. There are no significant differences between both groups except SEF at left upper point. Conclusions According to above results, we found out that performing U/S or chuna on erector spinae muscle has effect in terms of VAS and ODI. But, in terms of SEF, we found out different result for both side. And we can't found out effect in terms of RMS and ROM of L-spine.

  • A high power U.P.S system utilizing the parallel connection of low power U.P.S is developed. For the purpose of elimination the circular current between U.P.S.s, a digital circuit is employed. Furthermore a double phase synchronization and an interphase reactor are used to eliminate the circular current and the voltage ripples caused by the system parameter unbalances of parall connected U.P.S.s. The digital controller is implemented with ADSP21061 as aspect of a functional convenience.

$GF(2^m)$ 상의 산술연산기시스템 구성 이론 (A Construction Theory of Arithmetic Operation Unit Systems over $GF(2^m)$)

  • This paper presents a method of constructing an Arithmetic Operation Unit Systems (A.O.U.S.) over Galois Field GF(2**m) for the purpose of the four arithmetical operation(addition, subtraction, multiplication and division between two elements in GF(2**mm). The proposed A.O.U.S. is constructed by following procedure. First of all, we obtained each four arithmetical operation algorithms for performing the four arithmetical operations using by mathematical properties over GF(2**m). Next, for the purpose of realizing the four arithmetical unit module (adder module, subtracter module, multiplier module and divider module), we constructed basic cells using the four arithmetical operation algorithms. Then, we realized the four Arithmetical Operation Unit Modules(A.O.U.M.) using basic cells and we constructd distributor modules for the purpose of merging A.O.U.M. with distributor modules. Finally, we constructed the A.O.U.S. over GF(2**m) by synthesizing A.O.U.M. with distributor modules. We prospect that we are able to construct an Arithmetic & Logical Operation Unit Systems (A.L.O.U.S.) if we will merge the proposed A.O.U.S. in this paper with Logical Operation Unit Systems (L.O.U.S.).
