On the Invariance of Primitive Ideals via φ-derivations on Banach Algebras

  • The noncommutative Singer-Wermer conjecture states that every derivation on a Banach algebra (possibly noncommutative) leaves primitive ideals of the algebra invariant. This conjecture is still an open question for more than thirty years. In this note, we approach this question via some sufficient conditions for the separating ideal of ${\phi}$-derivations to be nilpotent. Moreover, we show that the spectral boundedness of ${\phi}$-derivations implies that they leave each primitive ideal of Banach algebras invariant.

  • What we will be concerned with is, first, the question of the condition about $\mathcal{L}$ that gives Alg$\mathcal{L}$ a von Neumann algebra, that is, the question of the condition about $\mathcal{L}$ that will give Alg$\mathcal{L}$ a self-adjoint algebra. Secondly, if Alg$\mathcal{L}$ is a von Neumann algebra, we want to find out what type it is.

  • Let A = {a1 < a2 < ⋯} be a sequence of integers and let P(A) = {Σεiai : ai ∈ A, εi = 0 or 1, Σεi < ∞}. Burr posed the following question: Determine conditions on integers sequence B that imply either the existence or the non-existence of A for which P(A) is the set of all non-negative integers not in B. In this paper, we focus on some problems of subset sum related to Burr's question.

  • When a question in a sample survey is sensitive or highly personal, respondents may prefer not to give truthful answers. To eliminate the resulting evasive answer bias Warner suggested a randomized response model. In this paper, a modification of Warner's method is presented and compared with Warner's method. The relation between this modified method and an unrelated question method is also discussed.

Question Analysis based Syntactic Information in Korean Question Answering System (한국어 질의응답시스템에서 구문정보에 기반한 질의분석)

  • 본 논문에서는 한국어 질의응답시스템에서 정확한 정답추출을 위한 구문 정보에 기반한 질의분석을 제안한다. 질의분석은 세부 정답 유형 결정, 세분화된 키워드 추출을 통해 정확한 정답추출을 목적으로 한다. 술어 유형 정보를 이용하여 대분류 수준의 정답 유형으로 질의분석을 수행하고. 구문 구조 정보를 이용하여 중요 키워드와 일반 키워드를 추출한다 마지막으로 정답 유형 자질 명사를 이용하여 세부 정답 유형을 결정한다. 실험을 통해 세부 정답 유형 결정에서 정확률 59%, 세분화된 키워드 추출에서 정확을 66%를 보였다.

  • MRC(기계독해)는 Passage, Question, Answel 로 이루어진 Dataset 으로 학습된 모델을 사용하여 요청한 Question 의 Answer 를 같이 주어진 Passage 내에서 찾아내는 것을 목적으로 한다. 최근 MRC 시스템의 성능 측정 지표로 활용되는 SQuAD Dataset 을 활용하여 RNN 의 한 분류인 match-LSTM과 R-NET 알고리즘의 성능을 비교 분석하고자 한다.
