Objectives: This study aimed to identify authors' key words as published in recent articles in the Journal of Korean Society of Dental Hygiene from 2016 to 2018. Methods: Authors' key words published in the Journal of Korean Society of Dental Hygiene were compared with MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) terms. We analyzed appearance frequencies of authors' key words via SPSS (Ver. 21.0). Results: A total of 1,259 key words and 315 articles were included in the analysis. The most frequently used key words were dental hygienist (40 times), oral health (27 times), dental hygienists (23 times), and elderly (14 times). One hundred and eighty-three articles (58.1%) were found, in which at least one key word matched the MeSH terms, and 132 articles (41.9%) were found in which key words did not match the MeSH terms. Two hundred and ninety-three headings (23.3%) of authors' key words published in the Journal of Korean Society of Dental Hygiene completely matched the MeSH terms. Conclusions: Researchers should be educated in the use of authors' key words to accomplish quality improvements.

본 연구는 해양환경 및 해양안전과 관련하여 우리나라의 대표적 학술지라고 할 수 있는 "해양환경안전학회지"의 게재 논문을 대상으로 해양환경 및 해양안전에 관한 연구들의 경향을 분석하고자 하였다. 그리고 연구경향을 분석하기 위한 분석기준으로 해양환경안전학회의 학문적 구성을 고려하여 연구자의 소속, 연구자의 지역성, 연구 참여형태, 논문의 학제성, 논문의 연구방법, 논문의 연구영역 등으로 한정하여 연구경향을 분석하였다.

Background: The aim of this study was to report the effect of acupotomy for patients with headache. Methods: Four patients with headache were treated with acupotomy. The improvement of symptoms was evaluated by numeric rating scale(NRS), Headache impact test-6(HIT-6) and headache attack frequency. Results: The numeric rating scale score and headache attack frequency decreased throughout the treatment period. No side effects were observed during treatment. Conclusion: Acupotomy had shown a positive clinical effect in the treatment of a headache in this case series. Further studies are required for its application on various headache.

Every researcher wants their research to gain more recognition, and this desire is achieved by publishing their article in a journal with higher impact. It is very important to get researchers interested in the Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society (JKNS). Therefore, the first goal was to promote the publication of papers in our journal. To do this, a table of contents was sent out, and the citation ranking was announced every 2 months. Several efforts have been made to publish good papers. Foreign speakers, who were invited to a conference hosted by the Korean Neurosurgical Society were contacted and politely requested to write a paper addressing their recent research. Domestic and international researchers highly renowned in their fields were also contacted to submit their novel works to our journal. The journal impact factor of our journal has continued to rise for the last 3 years and reached 1.376 in 2019. It can be said that the JKNS is now competitive with other international neurosurgery journals. These achievements were not due to the efforts of the editorial boards alone. This was because our society members have submitted very good papers, and because many of our members have cited the papers published in our journal. We believe that this will continue in the future. The next step of evolution of the JKNS has begun, and this is the beginning of another great development.

In order to search for the causes of having difficulty with the scientification task of the Korean medicine, the definition and conception of science were reviewed first and then formalization of reasoning scheme and a practical method of scientification were proposed. Science in its definition is meant by foundation of method and system for production of scientific knowledge not by knowledge of science itself. The formation of science is composed of complex processes including not only scientific knowledge but also politicosocial output containing activity of scientist society, spreading of social value and intercommunication. The production of scientific knowledge of Korean medicine is begun from logicality of the differential diagnosis and treatment theory through abductive verification of analogical inference by yinyang and 5 phase theory. For the commensurability between the various heterogenic theories within Korean medicine, the scientific activity of collecting, compiling, analyzing, distributing, and discussing the significant knowledge gained through abductive verification in the experiment and clinical process should be formed broadly. Based on these knowledge database, organization of scientist society with Korean medicine, life science, medical engineering, social expansion and generalization of pattern conception, and then social propagation and contribution for national health should be driven forward.

최근 우리사회에 화두로 떠오른 '공정사회'를 왈쩌(Walzer)의 '분리의 기술'이란 관점에서 분석해내고, 이를 기반으로 우리의 현실을 진단하여 공정사회로 가는 길을 모색하는 것이 이 연구의 과제다. 먼저 '분리의 기술'이 그리는 공정사회가 어떤 모습인지 이론적으로 파악한다. 분리된 광장들과 밀실의 내적 원리 그리고 이들 영역들의 외적 상호관계를 드러낸다. 그리고 이렇게 파악된 공정사회에 비추어진 한국의 현실은 '전체주의로의 역행'이라기보다 밀실의 부당한 광장침투와 왜곡의 문제를 안고 있다고 진단된다. 이에 따라 공정사회 실현을 위한 첫 단추로 사정(司正)의 필요성을 논의한다.
