A Study on the Structure of Scientific Collaboration Networks in "The Journal of The Korea Institute of Electronic Communication Sciences" (한국전자통신학회 논문지에 나타난 공동연구 네트워크의 구조에 관한 연구)

  • The rise of collaboration in science or technology has increased the need to understand collaboration networks. The purpose of this paper is to identify the structure of collaboration research networks in "The Journal of the Korean Institute of Electronic Communication Sciences". To accomplish this purpose, we have collected and analysed the data from co-authored papers published from 2006 to 2013 in this journal. It shows that there are 12 collaboration sub-networks based on the locality of authors in this journal.
