A Study on Instructional Design and Effectiveness for Solving Real Life Problems based on Design Thinking (디자인 사고 기반 실생활 문제 해결을 위한 수업 설계 및 효과성 연구)

  • Teaching and learning research is essential to prepare for the era of the 4th industrial revolution. We must strengthen the creative educational capabilities of prospective teachers by improving the curriculum and teaching-learning model of teacher training colleges. Future education should foster creative thinking based on communication and collaboration. In this study, we improved the future teaching and learning model and applied it to actual classes. In addition, we verified the effectiveness by conducting pre- and post-surveys on the capabilities of future creative teachers. The survey consists of common satisfaction questions and questions about future creative teacher capabilities. As a result of the analysis, we confirmed that the capacity of future creative teachers increased.

  • Various applied solutions utilizing the technology of the 4th Industrial Revolution are being applied to the health and welfare sector. In the proposed paper, the senior care system solution based on big data is designed. The principles of operation of the proposed system are collecting senior behavioral analyses through API information of smart devices, and sending a primary notification to the relevant senior in cases where a senior reacts differently from the existing standards. A system is proposed to prevent dangerous situations by providing information to peer seniors, family members, and the emergency center in cases where there is no response.

  • With the advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the importance of solving problems through computing has been emphasized, and software education to improve computational thinking as a core competency has been designated as an essential subject. In order for education for computational thinking to be effective, appropriate tools for evaluating computational thinking must be supported. While studies on computational thinking have been conducted in the meantime, there have been no systematic studies on such evaluation-related studies. This study analyzed the related studies on the computational thinking assessment conducted in Korea and analyzed the previous research of the evaluation tools, evaluation criteria, and evaluation methods. Based on this, the implications for the study of computational thinking evaluation method were suggested.

  • As drone industry increase with the advent of the 4th industrial revolution, yet ensured the safety of a drone crashing and incurring accidents which may result in significant damage to human life and assets. Thus, the authentication of drone safety is very urgent. For this reason, many countries are in need of institutional improvement in the aspect of authentication/legal systems by considering the importance of safety for drone. In this study, the regulations, research, and standards concerning drone safety are compared and analyzed. The analysis results can be used for improving the regulations of drone safety and standardization. The study can be contributed to invigorate drone industry by ensuring drone safety.

Effect of Employer's Justice in Digital Content Company on Their Turn-Over Intention, Through Organizational Commitment (디지털 콘텐츠 제작 기업 조직원의 조직공정성이 조직몰입을 통해 이직의도에 미치는 영향)

  • Together with the emergence of Information and Communications Technology(ICT) and 4th Industrial Revolution, digital content is arising as a front-runner in the knowledge society. 21 century opened up an era of digital and cultural content, which is the industry to generating added values from future industries. This study aims to empirically examine the casual relation between three factors from Organizational Justice Theory Distributive, Procedural, Interactional Justices, and turnover intention through Organizational Immersion. A sample group for the analysis was employees at small/medium-sized digital content businesses with less than 60 workers. 200 questionnaires were distributed to the group for a week from July 22 to 28, 2019. 154 responses were collected and analyzed in this study, after eliminating 4 poor responses. The result of the study on Organizational Justice at digital content businesses showed that, first, Distributive Justice of the employees showed a positive influence on Organizational Immersion. Second, the employees' Procedural Justice showed a positive influence on Organizational Immersion. Third, the employee' Interactional Justice showed a positive influence on Organizational Immersion. Fourth, the employees' Organizational Immersion showed a positive influence on their turnover intention.

  • In the wave of the 4th industrial revolution, smart factory is required in many factories. However, small and mid-sized companies (SMEs) still have aging machines and are having difficulties in the data collection stage, which is the basis of smart factories. This study proposes a low cost monitoring method by using an open source based technology that extracts data from the image of the facility control panel without the need for modification of existing facilities. The proposed method was tested and evaluated for forging facilities in automobile parts manufacturing plants through prototyping. As a result of the evaluation, it was confirmed that low-cost facility monitoring is possible, and it will help SMEs build smart factories.

  • The 4th Industrial Revolution technology has emerged as a solution to build a hyper-connected, super-intelligent network-oriented operational environment, overcoming the obstacles of reducing troops and defense budgets facing the current military. However, the overall risk management, including the increase in complexity of the latest inform ation technology and the verification of the impact with the existing information system, is insufficient, leading to serious threats to system integrity and availability, or negatively affecting interoperability between systems. It can be inhibited. In this paper, we suggest cyber threat response strategies for our military to prepare for cyber threats by examining information security risk management in the United States in order to protect military information assets from cyber threats that may arise due to the advancement of information technology.

  • Artificial intelligence technology, which represents the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, is now deeply involved in our lives, and future education places great emphasis on building students' capabilities for the principles and uses of artificial intelligence. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop the contents of AI related education in mathematics, which the relationship is closely connected to each other. To this end, I propose establishing two novel AI-related contents in mathematics education. One subject is related to learning the principle of machine learning based on mathematics foundation. In addition, I draw the core math contents dealt in following subject called 'Basic Mathematics for AI and Data Science.'

  • With the upcoming 4th industrial revolution era, the applications of artificial intelligence(AI) and big data in engineering are increasing. In the field of blasting, there have been various reported cases of the application of AI. In this paper, AI techniques, such as artificial neural network, fuzzy logic, generic algorithm, swarm intelligence, and support vector machine, which are widely applied in blasting area, are introduced, The studies about the application of AI for the prediction of ground vibration, rock fragmentation, fly rock, air overpressure, and back break are surveyed and summarized. It is for providing starting points for the discussion of active application of AI on effective and safe blasting design, enhancing blasting performance, and minimizing the environmental impact due to blasting.

  • The existing curriculum of cultural assets compulsory curriculum is difficult to expect educational effect due to lack of interests and visibility. The purpose of this study is to develop application contents and teaching materials using cultural data 3 - D data based on multi - marker recognition technology of augmented reality, which is attracting attention in the era of the 4th industrial revolution. In the case of the contents of a multi-marker technology capable of recognizing a plurality of markers, various events can be added and output capability can be enhanced. The proposed augmented reality app will be applied to the study of various education contents production technology utilizing cultural properties.
