  • The researchers, who seek geological and environmental information, depend on the remote sensing and aerial photographic datum from various commercial satellites and aircraft. However, the adverse weather conditions and the expensive equipment can restrict that the researcher can collect their data anywhere and any time. To allow for better flexibility, we have developed a compact, a multispectral automatic Aerial photographic system. This system's Multi-spectral camera can catch the visible (RGB) and infrared (NIR) bands (3032${\ast}$2008 pixel) image. Our system consists of a thermal infrared camera and automatic balance control, and it managed and controlled by a palm-top computer. And it includes a camera gimbals system, GPS receiver, weather sensor and etc. As a result, we have successfully tested its ability to acquire aerial photography, weather data, as well as GPS data, making it a very flexible tool for environmental data monitoring.

  • Recently, market size for IT outsourcing has grown. As internet technology has been developed for accessing information resources, information systems have become internet-based, which is called an ASP(Application Service Provider); evaluating the performance fur ASP becomes important. Therefore, this paper attempts to investigate the salient characteristics of ASP An ASP success model is proposed based on information systems success models found in the literature. Our model is tested through a survey from 291 small companies. LISREL is used to demonstrate the suitability of our model, and the success factors for ASP are also investigated. Our result is likely to help provide useful guidelines for successful ASP implementation.

  • When we implement the substation automation, the largest problem is that IEDs may come from different vendors, which will result in the reduction of the reliability of communication between IEDs. To solve the problem IEC61850 is investigated, which uniforms the communication interface. However, in order to communicate with an IEC61850 implanted IED, FRTU (Feeder Remote Terminal Unit) need to be compatible with IEC6185 consequentially. A new IEC61850 based FRTU development scheme is proposed. The performance shows his compatibility with other IEC61850 IED, which has already been tested in ARET (Agent-based Reliability Enhancement Technology) system.

  • In this paper, some parameters are studied for the performance improvement of a bulk optical magnetic-field sensor. The performance of optical magnetic-field sensor is influenced by optical intensity change and wavelength change of light source, and phase shift so called optical bias mismatch. A magnetic field measuring system based on optical Faraday sensor is implemented and tested in the current range from 10 ampere to 200 ampere. The test result shows implemented system has goof linearity.

  • Discharge of the flat lamp lighting source research are requested very much. For improving brightness. life time. efficiency of flat lamp and plasma diagnosis of the flat lamp lighting source to understand property of lighting source is very important. When a distance of discharge electrode is 5.5mm and width is 16.5mm. we measured electron temperature and electron density measured with single Langmuir probe in flat lamp. We tested the discharge from 100 Torr to 300 Torr pressure. The pulse type was rectangular with frequency 20kHz and duty ratio was 20%. In result. electron temperature decreases and electron density increased as increase the gas pressure and electron temperature decreases and electron density increase as increase the voltage.

  • This paper describes the dielectric analysis of several insulators for home appliances. The dielectric characteristics of ABS(acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) were tested in relative permittivity, dielectric loss($tan{\delta}$) and specific resistance and compared with those of the other 4 insulators of PE(polyethylene) series. As a result, the relative permittivity of only the ABS slightly decreased with temperature. In the case of the tan6, the ABS showed higher dielectric loss than the other insulators but more excellent thermal performance. In addition, its changing pattern in specific resistance was very similar to that in $tan{\delta}$.

  • In order to application for high voltage heavy electric equipments, epoxy/microsilica 60 wt%/nano layered silicate composites (EMNC_60) and epoxy/microsilica 65 wt%/nano layered silicate composites (EMNC_65) respectively was synthesized by our electric field dispersion method and the result was obtained completely dispersion state. Thermal properties such as glass transition temperature (Tg) and thermal expansion coefficient, and DMA characteristics were studied, and mechanical properties such as tensile and flexural tests were performed. AC electrical insulation strength was also tested. The study on thermal property, EMNC_65 was better than EMNC_60 and mechanical, electrical properties much improved EMNC_60 compared with EMNC_65.

  • Bioactivity-guided fractionation of a methanolic extract of Buddleja officinalis led to the isolation of two monoterpenes, crocusatin M (1), crocusatin C (2), a flavonoid, acacetin (3), three lignans, lariciresinol (4), pinoresinol (5), and syringaresinol (6), and two triterpenoidal saponins, mimengoside B (7) and songarosaponin A (8). The structures of isolates were identified based on 1D-, 2D-NMR, and MS data analysis. All isolates were tested for their inhibition on LPS-induced NO production in RAW 264.7 cells. As a result, mimengoside B (7) and songarosaponin A (8) showed a mild inhibitory activity of NO production.

  • In this study, we investigated the effects of service quality on customer satisfaction in education service industry, focusing on the opinion of dissatisfied customers who have decided to switch the service provider. Additionally, in professional service industries such as law, hospital, and education, customers expect visible results which are often ignored in earlier service quality studies. Customer's comprehensive assessment of the professional service depends on both process quality experienced during service delivery and service result perceived after service delivery. The hypotheses on the causal relationships among service quality, customer satisfaction, intention to switch service provider, and service performance were tested by using Structural Equation Model.

  • The presence of saponin, terpenoid, steroid, anthraquinone and flavonoid were screened with the usual test methods in forty five(sixty four parts) Korean plants belonging to Urticaceae, Celastraceae, Rhamnaceae, Sterculiceae and Rubiaceae. Plants were extracted with methanol and fractionated with hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate and butanol. Each fraction was tested for the components. The result showed that in saponin test, 21 plants were positive and 11 plants were weak positive; in terpenoid and steroid test, 26 plants were strong positive; in anthraquinone test, 20 plants strong positive; in flavonoid test, 31 plants were positive and 9 plants were weak positive.
