요양병원 간호사의 환자안전문화 인식, 표준주의 지식 및 수행도 (Perception of Patient Safety Culture, Knowledge and Performance of Standard Precaution among Long-Term Care Hospitals Nurses)

  • 본 연구는 요양병원 간호사의 환자안전문화 인식, 표준주의 지식 및 수행도와의 관계를 파악하기 위해 실시된 서술적 조사연구이다. 요양병원 간호사 134명을 대상으로 2018년 1월 2일부터 6월 4일까지 자료수집이 이루어졌으며, 수집된 자료 분석은 SPSS/WIN 21.0프로그램을 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's correlation coefficient으로 하였다. 환자안전문화 인식은 표준주의 지식(r=.192, p=.027), 표준주의 수행도(r=.211, p=.014)와 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 요양병원 간호사의 환자안전문화 정착과 표준주의 수행 증진을 위해서는 체계적인 교육을 통해 표준주의 지식을 함양하고 긍정적인 환자안전문화를 조성할 수 있도록 하여 그 속에서 환자안전과 의료관련감염 관리의 중요성을 스스로 인식하고 실천하도록 해야 갈 것이다.

Effect of Bias on the Pearson Chi-squared Test for Two Population Homogeneity Test

  • Categorical data collected based on complex sample design is not proper for the standard Pearson multinomial-based chi-squared test because the observations are not independent and identically distributed. This study investigates effects of bias of point estimator of population proportion and its variance estimator to the standard Pearson chi-squared test statistics when the sample is collected based on complex sampling scheme. This study examines the effect under two population homogeneity test. The standard Pearson test statistic can be partitioned into two parts; the first part is the weighted sum of ${\chi}^2_1$ with eigenvalues of design matrix as their weights, and the additional second part which is added due to the biases of the point estimator and its variance estimator. Our empirical analysis shows that even though the bias of point estimator is small, Pearson test statistic is very much inflated due to underestimate the variance of point estimator. In the connection of design-based variance estimator and its design matrix, the bigger the average of eigenvalues of design matrix is, the larger relative size of which the first component part to Pearson test statistic is taking.

  • In this paper, the process of predicting efficient durability performance for vibration durability test of automobile parts using vibration test load on automobile fuel tank is presented. First of all, the common standard load that can be applied to the initial development process of the automobile was used for the fuel tank and the vulnerability of the fuel tank to the vibration fatigue load was identified through frequency response analysis. In addition, the vulnerability of the fuel tank was re-enacted through vibration durability test results, and the scale factor was applied to the standard load. In order to predict the vibration durability performance required for detailed design, vibration fatigue analysis was performed on the developed vehicle with the frequency of vibration severity equivalent to the durability test, and the vulnerability and life span of the fuel tank were identified through the process of applying weights to these selected standard loads, thereby reducing the test time of the development vehicle.

임베디드 자료동기화 게이트웨이를 위한 OMA DS 표준 SCTS 적합성 테스트 (SCTS Conformance Test for OMA DS Standard for an Embedded Data Synchronization Gateway)

  • Nowadays, people perform their tasks anywhere anytime using their mobile devices. For this reason, data synchronization (DS) between mobile devices and a central server has become one of the most essential technologies in mobile environments. Currently, several mobile DS protocols are proposed and used. However, the existing DS protocols cannot guarantee interoperability between them. To solve the problem, an embedded DS gateway has been developed in our previous study. The gateway runs on a Windows Mobile-based emulator. It converts data on a mobile device into common data specified by OMA DS standard protocol and vice versa. The embedded gateway has been built to support the OMA DS standard protocol. In order to verify that the embedded gateway conforms to the OMA DS standard protocol, two kinds of OMA conformance tests have to be conducted - interoperability test with an OMA DS-based server and conformance test with SCTS (SyncML Conformance Test Suit). In this paper, some parts of the gateway previously built are modified and the modified gateway is installed on a Windows Mobile-based smart phone. And the interoperability test and the conformance test with the SCTS are conducted. The results of the tests show that the embedded DS gateway operates properly on the Windows Mobile-based smart phone and that the gateway passes the tests, verifying its conformity to the OMA DS standard protocol. In addition, DS performance tests show that DS delay times between a real smart phone and a DS server increase gently as the number of DS data increases. In other words, the embedded DS gateway built in this paper can be used for a real smart phone at a reasonable performance cost.

양방향말뚝재하시험의 재하용량 기준에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Loading Capacity Standard of Bi-directional Pile Load Test (BD PLT))

  • 대형말뚝기초의 양방향 재하시험에서 재하용량 기준이 정확하게 규정되어 있지 않다. 그래서 양방향말뚝재하시험을 수행함에 있어 많은 혼란이 발생하고 있으며 재하용량에서 최대 2배까지의 차이가 나타나고 있다. 본 연구에서는 양방향 말뚝재하시험 기준들을 고찰하였으며, 국내에서 수행된 양방향 말뚝재하시험 사례들에 기초하여 최대등가시험하중, 재하하중 증가비, 재하용량 증가비 및 설계하중 충족비를 분석하였다. 양방향 말뚝재하시험 기준은 1방향 재하용량으로 정의되어야 하며, 1방향 재하용량은 설계하중의 2배 이상 이어야 한다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

해양생태독성평가를 위한 표준시험방법 개발에 관한 연구 (Establishment of Standard Methods for Marine Ecotoxicological Test)

  • 해양생태독성평가를 위한 공정시험방법으로서 해양생태계의 분해자, 기초생산자 및 소비자를 대표하는 6개 생물군을 이용하여 각각의 생물에 대한 생태독성시험용 표준시험방법(standard methods)을 개발 또는 정립하였다. 본 시험방법은 미환경보호국, 국제기구 및 유럽국가의 표준시험방법을 참고하였으며, 독성시험에 사용되는 표준시험생물은 우리나라에 서식하는 해양성 또는 광염성 생물(euryhaline species)로 선정하였다. 각 시험방법은 표준시험생물의 배양 및 사육, 시험방법 및 과정, 시험의 재현성 및 적합도 기준 등을 포함한다. 표준시험생물은 총 9종으로서 해산발광박테리아(Vibrio fischeri), 해산규조류(Skeletonema costatum), 녹조구멍갈파래(Ulva pertusa), 해산윤충류(Brachionus plicatilis), 저서요각류(Tigriopus japonicus), 저서단각류 2종(Mandibulophoxus mai and Monocorophium acherusicum) 및 어류 2종(Oryzias latipes and Paralichthys olivaceus)을 포함한다. 표준시험생물은 해양생태계의 기초생산자, 분해자 및 소비자를 대표하며, 생태독성 시험시 각 영양 단계별 최소 1종을 포함하는 총 3종의 "battery test"를 권장한다.

KOLAS 시험 및 교정기관 운영을 위한 개정된 표준 규정 리뷰: 적격성에 대한 일반 요구사항 (Review of Revised KOLAS Standard Regulations for Test and Calibration Laboratories: General Requirements for a Competence of Management System)

  • 한국인정기구(KOLAS)는 시험 및 교정기관이 KS Q ISO/IEC 17025 요구사항에 맞추어 적절하게 운영하고 유효한 결과를 생산할 수 있도록 표준안을 제시하고 있다. 국가표준기본법(시험·검사: 시험·검사기관 인정, 교정: 국가교정제도의 확립)을 근거로 운영하고 있다. 최근, 국제시험소인정기구(ILAC)가 자격기준을 강화함에 따라 공인시험·교정기관들도 요구사항(KS Q ISO/IEC 17025:2017)에 맞추어 2020년 11월까지 전환을 완료해야 한다. 국내에서 운영되고 있는 899개 KOLAS 인정시험·검사와 교정기관이 여기에 해당된다. 여기에서는 적격성에 대한 주요 일반 요구사항을 요약하였다.

북미 법규 강화를 고려한 국내 자동차의 천정강도 시험특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Domestic Vehicle on the Roof Crush Test Considering the Enhanced Safety Standard, FMVSS 216)

  • In order to reduce the risk of roll over crash, one of the greatest risk events, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration(NHTSA) issued Notice of Proposed Rulemaking(NPRM) enhancing the safety standard on roof crush resistance, FMVSS No. 216 and changing some part of the test procedure. According to this NPRM, the boundary Gross Vehicle Weight Rating(GVWR) of the vehicles applied by this standard is extended from 2,722kg(6000 lb) to 4,536 kg(10000 lb) and the applied test force is increased from 1.5 times to 2.5 times of Unloaded Vehicle Weight (UVW). Also the current limit on the amount of roof crush, 127mm(5 inch), is replaced with a new requirement of maintaining enough headroom without touching the head of a seated 50% male dummy. In this paper, we carried out the rollover crash test on some domestic cars and investigated their safety due to the KMVSS No. 92 and the enhanced safety standard, FMVSS No. 216, respectively. The result shows that most of them can satisfy the new standards but further tests will be necessary, especially for heavier cars.

Ecotoxicity Assessment of Potassium Hydrogen Phthalate and Verification of Standard Reference Toxicity Test Method Using Potassium Hydrogen Phthalate

  • Phthalates are animal carcinogens. Potassium hydrogen phthalate (KHP), which has the least complicated structure among phthalates, is used for the analysis of total organic carbon and formaldehyde. However, its toxicity has not been confirmed. A 24-hour acute toxicity test was performed using Daphnia magna, a water flea used to evaluate aquatic toxicity owing to its high sensitivity. The lowest observed effect concentration of KHP was found to be 240 mg/L. The effects of phosphorus, nitrogen, and Cr(6+), which are able to be discharged along with KHP, were also confirmed using tests. At 240 mg/L KHP, toxicity increased as phosphorus, nitrogen, and Cr(6+) increased. In addition, tests were performed to confirm the half maximal effective concentration of KHP. Through 10 test repetitions, the average ecotoxicity value was found to be 0.3, the average half maximal effective concentration was 327.75 mg/L, and the coefficient of variation (%) was 3.16%; because the latter value is lower than 25%, which is what is generally suggested for the water pollution standard method, the reproducibility of the tests is sufficient to replace the existing standard reference toxicity test that uses potassium dichromate. In addition, the half maximum effective concentration of potassium hydrogen phthalate is approximately 218 times more than that of potassium dichromate; therefore, toxicity is relatively low. In conclusion, KHP is a feasible alternative to the highly toxic potassium dichromate for performing the standard reference toxicity test.
