  • The insulation diagnostic test and the AC breakdown test were performed under off-line using the 3.3 kV class induction motor which have been served for 10 years. These tests were conducted in means of nondestructive and destructive test. In this paper, we compared the correlation between the nondestructive and destructive test. Furthermore we setup an experimental condition with moisture and compared the insulation characteristics between moist and dry sample. From the results of the nondestructive and destructive test, it was found that the second AC current, which is the previous step of insulation breakdown, suddenly increased at a point of around 8.5 kV. The insulation breakdown of moist sample occurred at 12-14 kV, which is 4-5 kV lower than dry sample.

  • A direction finding system test-bed(DFSTB) at the electronic warfare communication-band is presented to efficiently evaluate and optimize the performance of the direction finding system through the indoor test setup. This test-bed gives a significant benefit to the designers of the direction finding system because it allows flexible test and design trade-off in the system design cycle. The system description and implementation of test-bed architecture, and the experiment results of direction finding accuracy according to modulation schemes are presented.

  • In this study, the real site test conditions were considered and applied to suggest the improved test method for geosynthetics chemical resistance. For this, index and performance tests were done to specify and regulate the more approached test method. Accelerated model by Arrhenius equation was applied to interpretate the experimental data. Through analysis and comparison the overall experimental results, we could suggest the possibility and setup the advanced chemical resistance test method for geosynthetics.

  • Gene classification can involve complex order-restricted inference. Examining gene expression pattern across groups with order-restriction makes standard statistical inference ineffective and thus, requires different methods. For this problem, Roy's union-intersection principle has some merit. The M-estimator adjusting for outlier arrays in a microarray study produces a robust test statistic with distribution-insensitive clustering of genes. The M-estimator in conjunction with a union-intersection principle provides a nonstandard robust procedure. By exact permutation distribution theory, a conditionally distribution-free test based on the proposed test statistic generates corresponding p-values in a small sample size setup. We apply a false discovery rate (FDR) as a multiple testing procedure to p-values in simulated data and real microarray data. FDR procedure for proposed test statistics controls the FDR at all levels of ${\alpha}$ and ${\pi}_0$ (the proportion of true null); however, the FDR procedure for test statistics based upon normal theory (ANOVA) fails to control FDR.

  • The main purpose of this paper is to present the dynamic test method developed for measuring the elastic modulus of sound insulating coat. The test setup was devised based on the theoretical natural frequency of a simply-supported beam subject to free transverse vibration. A stainless steel beam was tested and the result showed a good compliance with the standard value listed in literatures. The result indicates that the test set up can serve as a quick, economical and suitable scheme to test non self-supporting materials.

  • The present study concerns uncertainty assessment of powering prediction from towing tank model tests, suggested by the International Towing Tank Conference (ITTC). The systematic uncertainty of towing tank tests was estimated by allowance of test setup and measurement accuracy of ITTC. The random uncertainty was varied from 0 to 8% of the measurement. Randomly generated inputs of test conditions and measurement data sets under systematic and random uncertainty are used to statistically analyze resistance and propulsive performance parameters at the full scale. The error propagation through an extrapolation procedure is investigated in terms of the sensitivity and coefficient of determination. By the uncertainty assessment, it is found that the uncertainty of resultant powering prediction was smaller than the test uncertainty.

  • This study attempts to derive critical success factors and prioritize activities for implementing the automation of software test. Software testing proceeds in five steps of test plan, test case design, test scripting & test environment setup, test execution & evaluation, and test closure. From the literature, twenty influence factors in the five steps were identified. Focus Group Interviews with ten experts in software testing selected fourteen factors on the basis of importance and feasibility. Some factors were further divided to clarify their meanings and the number of influence factors finally became twenty one. A survey on the influence factors was conducted with 75 IT professionals. An importance-feasibility analysis was applied to the survey responses and classified the influence factors into four groups of essential factors, critical factors, low priority factors, and minimal factors. Essential factors include objectives for test automation, strategies for test automation, test automation training, test automation education, setting up test automation environment, setting up test environment, test automation tool selection. Critical factors include management's continued support, management's continued interest, role of automation engineers, and skills of automation engineers. This result suggests that a lot of efforts should be put into SW test plan for the successful SW test automation and SW automation should proceed in consideration with the priorities and resource consumption.

The recently computer virus specific event knows is the substantial damage it will be able to occur from our life inside is a possibility of feeling. The virus which appears specially in 1999 year after seemed the change which is various, also the virus of the form which progresses appeared plentifully The part virus does it uses the password anger technique which relocates the cord of the oneself. Hereupon consequently the vaccine programs in older decode anger to do the password anger of the virus again are using emulation engine. The password anger technique which the like this virus is complicated and decode anger technique follow in type of O.S. and the type is various. It uses a multi emulation engine branch operation setup consequently from one system and to respect it will be able to use a multiple operation setup together it will use the VMware which is an application software which it does as a favor there is a possibility where it will plan 'Virus Test Simulation' and it will embody.

  • The design load-carrying capacities of wooden shores depend on factors, such as the wood species and properties, and construction methods. This paper focuses on the construction methods, including an upright single shore, group of upright shores, group of inclined shores, butt connections and lap connections. This paper reports experiments to obtain critical loads and then developed an empirical equation based on Euler' formula for the critical loads and design load-carrying capacities. The test results show that the critical loads for an upright single wooden shore are greater than the average values for a group of upright shores, and the latter are greater than the average values for a group of inclined shores. Test results also show that the critical loads become smaller when butt or lap connections are used, butt connections possessing greater critical loads than lap connections. Groups of inclined shores are very popular at work sites because they have some practical advantages even though they actually possess inferior critical loads. This paper presents an improved setup for constructing groups of inclined shores. With this method, the inclined shores have larger critical loads than upright shores. The design load-carrying capacities were obtained by multiplying the average critical loads by a resistance factor (or strength reduction factor, ${\phi}$) that were all smaller than 1. This article preliminarily suggests ${\phi}$ factors based on the test results for the reference of engineers or specification committees.

  • The objective of this work was finding out the most advisable testing conditions for an effective and robust characterization of the tensile strength (TS) of concrete disks. The independent variables were the loading geometry, the angle subtended by the contact area, disk diameter and thickness, maximum aggregate size, and the sample compression strength (CS). The effect of the independent variables was studied in a three groups of experiments using a factorial design with two levels and four factors. The likeliest location where failure beginning was calculated using the equations that account for the stress-strain field developed within the disk. The theoretical outcome shows that for failure beginning at the geometric center of the sample, it is necessary for the contact angle in the loading setup to be larger than or equal to a threshold value. Nevertheless, the measured indirect tensile strength must be adjusted to get a close estimate of the uniaxial TS of the material. The correction depends on the loading geometry, and we got their mathematical expression and cross-validated them with the reported in the literature. The experimental results show that a loading geometry with a curved contact area, uniform load distribution over the contact area, loads projected parallel to one another within the disk, and a contact angle bigger of $12^{\circ}$ is the most advisable and robust setup for implementation of BT on concrete disks. This work provides a description of the BT carries on concrete disks and put forward a characterization technique to study costly samples of cement based material that have been enabled to display new and improved properties with nanomaterials.
