지역사회 거주 노인의 우쿨렐레를 활용한 음악 프로그램 개발 및 효과 (Music Program Development Using the Ukulele in Community-dwelling Old Adults and Its Effect)

  • Purpose: This study is a pseudo-experimental study of design before and after the non-equivalent control group, which was attempted to verify that the application of the ukulele to the elderly has the effects of reducing depression, improving self-efficacy, strengthening social bonding, and improving cognitive function. Methods: 46 (23 in the experimental group and 23 in the control group) participants were selected. The experimental group was provided with three sessions of a music program using eight Ukuleles for the elderly, while the control group was provided with three sessions for the elderly. IBM SPSS 25.0 was used for data analysis, and the independent t-test, 𝑥2-test, and Fisher's exact probability test were performed to verify the homogeneity of the subject's general characteristics. The effect verification after the experimental treatment was analyzed by Fisher's exact probability test, Friedman test, and Mann-Whitney U test. Results: Depression showed a statistically significant difference between the two groups (F=39.88, p<.001), self-efficacy showed a statistically significant difference between the two groups (z=-4.96, p<.001), social bonding showed a statistically significant difference between the two groups (z=-5.19, p<.001), and cognitive function showed a statistically significant difference between the two groups (z=-3.98, p<.001). Conclusion: It was found that the 'Music Program using the Ukulele' was effective in reducing depression of the elderly, improving self-efficacy, reinforcing social bonding, and improving cognitive function. We hope that the Music Program using the Ukulele can be used in the elderly nursing curriculum in the future, and we suggest it should be applied as a nursing intervention to those who are experiencing cognitive decline.

8주간 데드리프트 운동 시 전신진동운동이 재활스포츠 선수의 근 기능 특성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect in the Muscle Function Following 8-Week Dead-lift training with Whole-body Vibration in Rehabilitation for Sports Players)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects in the muscle function following 8-week dead-lift training with Whole-body Vibration(WBV) in rehabilitation for sports players. Method : Twenty young sports players. Each subjects were randomly assigned to a resistance training with Whole-body vibration group(TG, n=10), a resistance training without Whole-body vibration group(CG, N=10). The measurements which physical fitness test and joint torque test were performed before the randomization and after the 4-week and 8-week. The WBV group performed the dynamic Dead-lift exercise on a vibration platform during one minute. The CG group performed the equal training without vibration. The WBV and CON group repeated 5 set and trained two times weekly for 8-weeks. Paired t-test was used to test for differences between the groups at baseline and after 4-weeks and 8-Weeks. And independent t-test was used to test for differences between the groups at TG and CG. All analyses were executed using SPSS software 18.0. The level of significance was set at p<.050. Results : Following the 8-Weeks training sessions, an increase in the back-muscle strength was found to be greater for the TG compared with the CG group(p<.05). Muscle endurance was significantly decreased after training than before training only for the CG(p<.05). Isometric Hip/Lumber Extension/Flextion measurement was found to be significantly greater for the TG compared with the CG group(p<.05). The finding indicates that WBV effects as an efficient training stimulus to enhance muscle function by facilitating neural control trail. Following muscle activation in motor unit synchronization of the co-contraction of the muscles. Conclusion : The results imply that the WBV training may have enhanced muscle function in rehabilitation for sports players.

집단 요리활동 프로그램이 지역아동센터 비장애 아동의 실행기능에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Group Cooking Program on Executive Function of the Non-disabled Children in Community Children's Center)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 작업에 기반을 둔 집단 요리활동 프로그램이 지역아동센터 비장애 아동의 실행기능에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 지역아동센터를 이용하는 만 6~9세 아동 6명이 2017년 7월부터 2017년 8월까지 본 연구에 참여하였다. 본 연구는 단일 집단 사전-사후 설계로, 지역아동센터 아동들을 대상으로 집단 요리활동 프로그램을 진행하였다. 중재 전 후에 스트룹 아동 색상-단어 검사(STROOP Color and Word Test), 아동 색 선로 검사(Children's Color Trails Test), 운동처리기술평가(Assessment of Motor and Process Skills)를 사용하여 아동들의 실행기능을 평가하여 프로그램의 효과를 측정하였다. 결과 : 중재 전과 비교하여 중재 후 스트룹 아동 색상-단어 검사와 운동처리기술평가의 처리기술 점수가 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었다(p<.05). 아동 색 선로 검사에 있어 중재 전 점수와 중재 후 점수 간에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다(p>.05). 결론 : 본 연구는 지역아동센터 비장애 아동을 대상으로 한 집단 요리활동 프로그램 중재가 인지적 억제 실행기능과 수행 실행기능에 효과가 있음을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 작업에 기반을 둔 중재 접근이 지역사회의 다양한 대상들에게 적용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

The Effects of Task-Oriented Training on Motor and Cognitive Function in Focal Ischemic Brain Injury Model of Rat

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the task-oriented training according to the application time with the change of motor and cognition function. Focal ischemic brain injury was produced in Sprague-Dawley rats (20 rats, $250{\pm}50$ g) through middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAo). Before MCAo induction, all rats were trained in treadmill training and Morris water maze training for 1 week. Then they were randomly divided into groups: Group I : MCAo induction ($n_1$=5), Grop II: the application for simple treadmill task training after. MCAo induction ($n_2$=5). Group III: the application for Morris water maze cognitive task training after MCAo induction ($n_3$=5). Group IV: the application for progressive treadmill task training and Morris water maze cognitive task training after MCAo induction ($n_4$=5). Modified limb placing tests (MLPTs) and motor tests (MTs) were performed to test motor function and then Morris water maze acquisition test (MWMAT) and Morris water maze retention test (MWMRT) were performed to test cognitive function. For MTs, there were significant interactions among the groups with the time (p<.001). Group IV showed the steeper increasing pattern than those in other Groups on the 7th and 14th day. For MLPTs, there were significant interactions among the groups with the time (p<.001). The scores in Group III. IV had showed the more decreasing pattern than those in Group I, II since the 7th day and 14th day. For MWMAT, there were significant interactions among the groups with the time (p<.001). Group II found the Quadrant circular platform showed the steeper decreasing pattern than that in Group I on the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th day. Group III. IV found the quadrant circular platform showed the slower decreasing pattern than that in Group I, II, For MWMRT, there were significant differences among the four groups (p<.001). The time to dwell on quadrant circular platform in Group IV on the 13th day was the longest compared with other groups. These results suggested that the combined task training was very effective to improve the motor and cognition function for the rats affected on their focal ischemic brain injury.

함수 블록 다이어그램으로 명세된 PLC 프로그램에 대한 구조적 테스팅 기법 (A Structural Testing Strategy for PLC Programs Specified by Function Block Diagram)

  • 프로그래머블 로직 컨트롤러(PLC: Programmable Logic Controller)가 안전성이 중요한 실시간 시스템 구현에 많이 사용되면서, PLC 프로그램에 대한 테스팅의 중요성이 날로 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 PLC 프로그래밍 언어 중 하나인 함수 블록 다이어그램(FBD: Function Block Diagram)에 대한 구조적 테스팅 방안을 제안한다. FBD를 테스트하기 위해 먼저 타이머 함수 블록을 비롯한 각 함수 및 함수 블록에 대한 흐름그래프 템플릿을 정의하고, 템플릿을 기반으로 한 변환 알고리즘을 제안하며, 알고리즘을 따라 FBD로부터 변환된 흐름그래프에 기존의 제어 흐름 테스팅 커버리지와 데이타 흐름 테스팅 커버리지를 적용한다. 기존 FBD 테스팅은 테스트 케이스 생성시 FBD 내부 구조를 고려하지 않으며, FBD 프로그램으로부터 특정 중간단계 모델을 생성해 낼 수 있는 경우에만 적용될 수 있는 단점을 가진 반면, 본 논문에 제안된 방법은 FBD 내부 구조를 고려한 체계적 테스트 케이스 생성이 가능하며, 중간단계 모델의 형식에 관계없이 어떤 FBD에도 적용될 수 있다는 장점을 가진다. 특히 제안된 기법은 여러 실행주기에 걸쳐 테스트 되어야 하는 타이머 함수 블록을 포함한 FBD에 대한 철저한 테스팅을 가능하게 한다. 제안된 기법을 현재 원전계측제어시스템 개발사업단에서 개발 중인 디지털 원자로 보호계통 비교논리 프로세서 트립 논리에 적용하여 그 효과를 확인하였다.

SM-2015의 혈중 알코올 분해 및 숙취 개선 효과 (Effects of SM-2015 on Blood Alcohol Clearance and Hangover)

  • Objectives: This study investigated the effect of SM-2015 on blood alcohol clearance and hangover. We undertook this study to test whether SM-2015 is effective in decreasing blood alcohol concentration and preventing the symptoms of alcohol-induced hangover. Methods: Twenty healthy volunteers participated in this randomized crossover study. All participants were classified between an SM-2015 intake group (test group) and a non-intake group (control group). The primary outcome measure was the difference in blood alcohol concentration and hangover severity scores between the test and control groups. The secondary outcome measure was the difference in a liver function test (LFT) between the test and control groups. Results: After alcohol exposure, the sensitivity scores of blood alcohol concentration and hangover symptoms (sleepiness, dizziness, nausea, weakness, stomach pain, diarrhea, and concentration disorder) were significantly decreased in the SM-2015 intake group compared with the non-intake group. There were no differences in the LFT results between the SM-2015 intake group and the non-intake group. Conclusions: SM-2015 is effective in decreasing blood alcohol concentration and preventing the symptoms of alcohol-induced hangover. Larger studies are required to confirm these findings.

Determination of double-K fracture parameters of concrete using split-tension cube test

  • This paper presents development of double-K fracture model for the split-tension cube specimen for determining the unstable fracture toughness and initial cracking toughness of concrete. There are some advantages of using of split-tension cube test like compactness and lightness over the existing specimen geometries in practice such as three-point bend test, wedge splitting test and compact tension specimen. The cohesive toughness of the material is determined using weight function having four terms for the split-tension cube specimen. Some empirical relations are also suggested for determining geometrical factors in order to calculate stress intensity factor and crack mouth opening displacement for the same specimen. The results of double-K fracture parameters of split-tension cube specimen are compared with those obtained for compact tension specimen. Finally, the influence of the width of the load-distribution of split-tension cube specimen on the double-K fracture parameters for laboratory size specimens is investigated. The input data required for determining double-K fracture parameters for both the specimen geometries are obtained using well known version of the Fictitious Crack Model.

The Effects of Origami on the Improvement of Hand Dexterity

  • This study was carried out to investigate the effects of making an origami crane on the improvement of hand dexterity. Subjects composed of 20 normal adult males were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups of 10 people respectively. For the experimental group, a training of making an origami crane was conducted for 40 to 50 minutes a day during a 4-week training period. The control group was made to engage in everyday activities as usual. For pre and post assessment, Groove Pegboard test, Purdue Pegboard Test, and Jebsen Hand Function Test were used. The results on the effects of making an origami crane showed that there was a statistically significant difference in both the Grooved Pegboard test and Purdue Pegboard test(p<.05). In the Jebsen hand function Test, a significant difference was found in handwriting and building pieces of chess(p<.05), but there was no statistically significant difference in comparison with the right hand during the average performance of picking up small stuffs. The activity of making an origami crane for normal adults was confirmed to be helpful to improve the hand dexterity. Accordingly, making an origami crane is suggested to be an effective way to improve the hand dexterity.

텅스텐 백열전구의 필라멘트 단선에 대한 가속수명시험 (An Accelerated Life Test for Burnout of Tungsten Filament of Incandescent Lamp)

  • This paper presents an accelerated life test for burnout of tungsten filament of incandescent lamp. From failure analyses of field samples, it is shown that their root causes are local heating or hot spots in the filament caused by tungsten evaporation and wire sag. Finite element analysis is performed to evaluate the effect of vibration and impact for burnout, but any points of stress concentration or structural weakness are not found in the sample. To estimate the burnout life of lamp, an accelerated life test is planned by using quality function deployment and fractional factorial design, where voltage, vibration, and temperature are selected as accelerating variables. We assumed that Weibull lifetime distribution and a generalized linear model of life-stress relationship hold through goodness of fit test and test for common shape parameter of the distribution. Using accelerated life testing software, we estimated the common shape parameter of Weibull distribution, life-stress relationship, and accelerating factor.

키유도함수의 통계적 난수성 평가 방법 (A Method of Statistical Randomness Test for Key Derivation Functions)

  • 암호시스템에 사용되는 알고리즘의 기본적인 안전성 평가 항목은 난수성이다. 미국의 표준기술원 NIST는 차세대 암호알고리즘 AES를 선정하는 과정에서 블록암호의 난수성을 통계적으로 평가할 수 있는 패키지를 제안하였다. 이 패키지는 입출력 길이가 동일한 함수인 블록암호에 적합하도록 구성되어 있으므로 대부분 확장된 출력 길이를 갖는 키유도함수의 난수성 평가에 그대로 적용하는 것은 무리가 있다. 본 논문에서는 입력 길이보다 확장된 다중 블록을 출력하는 대표적인 암호 구성 요소인 키유도함수에 적합한 통계적 난수성 평가 방법으로 NIST의 방식을 개선한 것을 제안한다. 그리고 제안된 방법에 의하여 3GSM과 NIST에서 표준으로 권고하고 있는 키유도함수에 대한 통계적 난수성 평가결과를 제시한다.
