$Cd_4GeSe_6$$Cd_4GeSe_6:Co^{2+}$ 단결정의 광전도도 특성 (Photoconductivity spectra of undoped and co-doped $Cd_4GeSe_6$ single crystals)

  • Optical absorption and photoconductivity spectra of undoped and Co-doped Cd$_{4}$GeSe$_{6}$ single crystals, grown by the chemical transport reaction using iodine as a transporting agent, were investigated. At 20K, the optical energy gaps of the single crystals are 1.934eV for Cd$_{4}$GeSe$_{6}$ and 1.815eV for Cd$_{4}$GeSe$_{6}$ :Co$^{2+}$. The photoconductivity spectra of these single crystals were closely investigated over the temperature range 20-290K. At 20K, the photoconductivity peaks were located at 1.797eV, 1.347eV for Cd$_{4}$GeSe$_{6}$ and 1.815eV, I,.57eV, 1.46eV and 1.38eV for Cd$_{4}$GeSe$_{6}$ :Co$^{2+}$, respectively.ely.

원전 배합 콘크리트의 외기대류계수에 관한 연구 (Study on the Coefficient of Air Convection for Concrete Mix of Nuclear Power Plant)

  • The hardening of concrete after setting is accompanied with nonlinear temperature distribution caused by development of hydration heat of cement. Especially at early ages, this nonlinear distribution has a large influence on the tensile cracking. As a result, in order to predict the exact temperature distribution in concrete structures it is required to examine thermal properties of concrete. In this study, the coefficient of air convection for concrete mix of nuclear power plant, which presents thermal transfer between surface of concrete and air, was experimentally investigated with variables such as velocity of wind and types of form. The coefficient of air convection obtained from experiment increases with velocity of wind, and its dependance on wind velocity is varied with types of form. This tendency is due to a combined heat transfer system of conduction through form and convection to air. The coefficient of air convection for concrete mix of nuclear power plant obtained from this study was well agreed with the existing models.

  • In this paper, the characteristics of electrical breakdown and TDDR (Time Dependant Dielectric Breakdown) were studied to evaluate stability and reliability of thin insulator films such as oxide and nitride. As the oxide film thickness decreased, the electrical breakdown field was increased proportioning to its reverse square root, ${d^{-\frac{1}{2}}}$. As for the temperature dependance of breakdown field, its field was inclined to decrease as temperature increased. It also showed that oxide charge (Qss) was changed by stress field and stress time. Consequently, TDDB characteristics and breakdown mechanism proved the improvement of reliability and stability and provided the accurate analysis to predict a device life time.

  • In this study the system of $Pb(Mn_{1/3} Nb_{2/3})O_3-PbTiO_3-PbZrO_3$ piexoelectric ceramics was made in the radial mode disk and attenuation characteristic of the desinged ladder type filter was investigated. What is more temperature dependance of resonant frequency and variation of resonant frequency was examined by chan-ging the electrode diameter of piezoelectric resonator. (A Group : De=11mm, B Group : De=7.5mm and C Gro-up : De=5.5mm) Upon investigation it was the following. The center frequency of A, B and c filter showed up in the 200KHz, 270KHz and 380KHz respectively. As the electrode diameter decreased center frequency in creased abruptly. As the Co_2/Co1 increased attenuation characteristics and selectivity was improved. As the x=50. resonant frequ-ency invaried with variation of temperature.

  • In order to investigate the electrical properties of X-ray tube oils for insulating and cooling, the breakdown characteristics in temperature range of $20\sim100[^{\circ}C]$, that of AC breakdown in 0.5~2.5[mm] of gap length, we are made researches. The classification for the physical properties of oil for X-ray tube by FTIR and H-NMR experiments was confirmed to type of mineral oils. As for the dependance of breakdown characteristics due to electrode gap length, breakdown voltage was found nearly uniform by impurity effect according to the increase of gap. As a result the characteristics for AC breakdown, the dielectric strength was increased to $90[^{\circ}C]$ but decreased over $90[^{\circ}C]$ in the temperature range.

  • The cure and rheological behavior of Diglycidyl ether of bisphenol F, catalyzed by four kinds of imidazoles and a Nadic methyl anhydride curing agent were studied using a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and rheometer. The isothermal traces were employed to analyze cure reaction. The DGEBF/anhydride conversion profiles showed autocatalyzed reaction characterized by maximum conversion rate at 20~40 % of the reaction. The rate constants obtained from isothermal test showed temperature dependance, but reaction order did not. The order of reaction (m+n) was calculated to be close to 3. The measurements of viscosity and relation time in the presence of inorganic fillers were carried out at different isothermal curing temperatures. The viscosity and gelation time increased with filler content at the same isothermal temperature.

  • The setting and hardening of concrete is accompanied with nonlinear temperature distribution caused by development of hydration heat of cement. In order to predict the exact temperature history in concrete structures it is required to examine thermal properties of concrete. In this study, the coefficient of air convection, which presents thermal transfer between surface of concrete and air, was experimentally investigated with variables such as velocity of wind, boiling and layer effects. Finally, the prediction model for equivalent coefficient of air convection was theoretically proposed. The coefficient of air convection in the proposed model increases with velocity of wind, and its dependance on wind velocity is varied with types of form. For determining the initial coefficient of air convection, boiling effects must be considered. The coefficient of air convection is affected by boundary layer with respect to the distance from the surface.

  • In order to investigate the effect and reliability coming up to properties of the matter due to the change of solid structure in dielectrics, the effect of dielectric characteristics for thermal treated LDPE film was made researches. Specimens of LDPE with thickness 100 [$\mu\textrm{m}$] were investigated into the change of solid structure by ageing. Thermal treated specimen were made, that were after applying heat at 100 [$^{\circ}C$] for 1 [hour] \circled1 air-cooled specimen slowly, \circled2 water-cooled specimen under the ,com temperature, \circled3 liquid nitrogen gas-cooled specimen rapidly. With specimen of thermal treated three types turn out and original, it was for dielectric characteristics to be experimented in the temperature range of 20~120 [$^{\circ}C$], frequency range of 30~1.5${\times}10^5/$[Hz], appling voltage from 300 to 1500[㎷]. Consequently, the degree of crystallinity was changed with 49~57 [%] according to the thermal treatment. In case of frequency, 100 [Hz], on the thermal dependance in dielectric characteristics, tan decreases due to cooling method.

  • In this paper, simple AT-cut crystal resonator utilizing $Bi_{0.5}(Na_{0.84}K_{0.16})_{0.5}TiO_3$ relaxator ceramics as load capacitator were designed and their frequency-temperature characteristics were investigated. In order to modify temperature dependance of dielectric constant, $Bi_{0.5}(Na_{0.84}K_{0.16})_{0.5}TiO_3$ ceramics were manufactured with the variations in Sr substitution. At the composition with $6\;mol\%$ Sr substitution as load capacitator, frequency-temperature characteristics of AT-cut crystal resonators with the series load capacitance were similarly varied as those of cut orientation variation, and also compensated.
