  • The basic principle of the product manufacturing technology using the 3D printing technique materializes the material including the high molecular substance or plastic and metallic dust, and etc. the product into the laminate additive manufacturing according to the design diagram gradually. It is applied to the various industrial field including the field of food division, field of home appliances, field of medicine, field of mechanical department and construction, etc.. The global development case of 3D printing technique is the next. This study described global technology and market trends. Afterward, 3D printing technique manages the important role when it exceeds the product manufacturing view just and is grafted with the various technology including the biotechnology, nanotechnology, and etc. and it improves the quality of the human life.

  • Ultra-precision machining technology is the essential core technology in today's micro-electronics and electro-optical industries. The needs for processing systems to manufacture products to nanometer(nm) accuracy and sub-nanometer resolutions are increased recently. By using ion beam, it is possible to fabricate ultra-precision and ultra-fine products with nm accuracy and sub-nm resolution. In this paper, the basic research trends of ultra precision machining technology in domestic are surveyed, and the ways to reach to the world-leading level of basic research capabilities in the field of ultra-precision machining technology in domestic is suggested.

  • The advent of microprocessor controls and robotics is rapidly changing the face of manufacturing throughout the world. Large and small companies alike are adopting these new methods to improve the efficiency of their operations. Factory Automation, which is in reality by robots, is playing more important role in economic competition and growth. Its core technology, i.e. robotics, is advanced in accordance with the remarkable progress of the computer technology and micro-electronics. Roughly speaking, its future might determine the fate of a national economy. In this paper, the future trends of such robotics and factory automation are described from a point of view of industrial application.

Therefore, they need to understand the current state of standards (such as distributed storage and access technologies) to address future requirements.
