Recently, realistic contents such as virtual reality(VR) and augmented reality (AR) are widely used for education to provide beneficial learning environments with thee-dimensional(3D) information and interactive technology. Specially, AR technology will be helpful to intuitively understand by adding virtual objects registered in the real learning environment with effective ways. In this paper, we developed an AR learning system using 3D spatial information in the 2D based textbook for studying math related to geometry. In order to increase spatial learning effect, we applied to solid shapes such as prisms and pyramids in mathematics education process. Also, it allows participants to use various shapes and expression methods (e.g., wireframe mode) with interaction. We conducted the experiment with our AR system, evaluated achievement and interest. Our experimental study showed positive results, our results are expected to provide effective learning methods in various classes through realistic visualization and interaction methods.

This analysis was conducted in order to evaluate that the 2007 revised curriculum of Practical Arts(Technology and Home Economics) has been made well Articulations. The criteria of Articulations is "Development of learning content, Repeating, Gaps, Reduction. Content criterias is 'human development and family' area. These include "human development, human relationships, marriage and family life, caring for family members and family welfare" of the four criteria and 14 content elements. The results of this analysis, the first content elements is "process of human development, characteristics of human development, family relationships, communication, dating and partner selection, the significance of marriage and family, understanding the basic concepts of family, family change and family problem solving". There was no content elements. content element is 'friendship'. content elements is 'Characteristics of human development', 'understanding of sex and pregnancy and childbirth'. Thus, in the new curriculum, a review of these Articulations are required. Especially, the 'friendship' and 'understanding of sex and pregnancy and childbirth' of the content element should be noted in the curriculum configuration because of content elements be Analyzed as or . Also 'values about marriage change' importance in the low fertility society is a big learning content elements need repeating. However, textbooks should reflect differences in the configuration will hakgyogeupgan. Meanwhile, 'changes in values about marriage' that it is necessary to deal with the repeatedly because of recentely society is The low fertility society, However, for this content element based on the differences between school level to appear the contents of textbooks, the textbook screening process will be provided with the correct guidance.

This study examined the organization and operation of home economics curriculum of specialized middle school in the form of regular school among alternative schools and analyzed the perceptions of teachers and students about home economics class. Interviews were conducted with teachers of 6 specialized schools in order to determine the operations and teachers' perceptions of home economics education. Students' perceptions for home economics class were gathered through surveys with students from the 3 (of the original 6) schools that authorized the questionnaire survey. The final analysis utilized 205 student responses. Survey data were analyzed using the SPSS program. The results of the research were as follows: First, home economics education within specialized middle schools was mostly conducted according to the form of the technology-home economics curriculum, which is the national common basic curriculum. Compared to the 7th national curriculum, the class of technology-home economics curriculum in 4 schools occurred 1 hour less each week. Each school incorporated various specialized curricula related to home economics. Second, as for the operation of home economics education in specialized schools, most home economics classes were conducted by teachers who had majored (or minored) in home economics. Moreover, all but 1 school, which used self-made materials, used the national textbook and dealt with the entire content of the textbook. For teaching-learning methods and instructional media, various means were utilized. For evaluation methods, most schools based grades on paper-and-pencil tests(50-60%) and performance tests(40-50%). Third, among teachers' perceptions of home economics education, the meaning of home economics education was focused on practical help and the pursuit of home happiness; the purpose was to realize the happiness of students and their homes by applying these to actual living, and increase students' ability to see the world. In regards to difficulties in educational operations, most pointed out poor conditions of practice rooms. As for differences from general schools, most teachers mentioned the active communication with students. Fourth, through the home economics class, it was found that students perceived the goal of technology-home economics curricula as lower than average. Among students' perceptions about home economics class, most were negative. Perceptions about goal of technology-home economics curricula and home economics class also showed meaningful differences according to each school. Students of the school, which had more home economics class hours and specialized curricula related to home economics, perceived more positively. Also, students who were more satisfied with school and learned from a teacher who majored in home economics tended to perceive home economics class more positively.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the curriculum competencies of relationship-forming ability and practical problem-solving ability reflected in the activity tasks corresponding to the content elements of 'Love and marriage', 'Preparation for parenthood', 'Pregnancy and childbirth', 'Child care', and 'Family culture and intergenerational relationship' in the 2015 revised high school technology & home economics textbooks. The data are 330 activity tasks from 12 kinds of high school technology & home economics textbooks. The sub-factors of the relationship-forming ability were selected as Respect for Diversity, Consideration and Care, Family Relationship and Community Spirit, Empathy Ability, Conflict Management, and Communication, and the sub-factors of practical problem-solving ability were selected as Practical Reasoning, Decision Making, Value Judgment, Critical Thinking, and Executive Power. Based on the analysis criteria, the results of the two analyses and the expert review are as follows. First, regarding both the core concepts 'Development' and 'Relationship', the share of relationship-forming ability was relatively higher than practical problem-solving ability, and conflict management and executive power were the least reflected. For the core concept 'Development', Family Relationship and Community Spirit and Critical Thinking were the most reflected sub-factors, and for the core concept 'Relationship', Consideration and Care and critical thinking were the most reflected sub-factors. Second, in the case of the relationship-forming ability, the examples of activity tasks across sub-factors of each subject competency were devised to understand diverse opinions and sentiments and to develop competencies to care for each other and maintain healthy family relationships. In the case of practical problem-solving ability, the tasks allowed students to objectively analyze the socio-cultural background underlying the real-life problem, explore alternatives, and apply in their own lives.
The purpose of this study is to provide basic data that can be used for the development of technology textbooks of Nigeria-Korea Model School by analyzing external and internal aspects of Illustration in Nigerian primary school technology textbooks, and 10 textbooks used in Nigeria were analyzed. Based on the results of the study, the conclusions are as follows. First, the form of the visual data should be diversified into a picture, a cartoon, a diagram, and a diagram from the photograph center, and provide various information closely related to the contents of the technology. Second, it is necessary to increase the size of illustration so as to induce learners to be motivated, and to enhance the effect of editing. Third, currently, partial enlargement data is rarely used, but visual material should be partially enlarged in order to express a detail part of product. Fourth, diversity of editing should be done by using circular or background omission rather than using only rectangle uniformly in visual material. Fifth, in terms of gender equality, it is necessary to deviate from male-centric visual materials and edit them with consideration for women. Sixth, in order to provide learner-centered textbooks, the role of visual materials should be extended to 'inducement of motivation', 'activity guidance', and 'activity result' in addition to 'providing data'. Finally, in terms of the function of visuals, the quality of textbooks should be upgraded by utilizing auxiliary and decorative functions in addition to essential functions.

To develop the descriptive evaluation questionnaire with high validity and reliability on the Clothing and Textiles section of the middle school Technology & Hone Economics textbook, apply it to students and analyze its results. We made out a draft for descriptive evaluation questionnaire that was based upon the concrete establishment of the goal and the range of evaluation. We also made a rubric for scoring as well as sample answer-sheets. Finally, we completed a total of twenty three descriptive evaluation questions and we applied it to sixty five 2nd-grade students in two classes in a middle school. Descriptive evaluation questionnaire exhibited the relative high validity on each question. Moreover, three graders gave the same score on each question of descriptive evaluation, suggesting that descriptive evaluation questionnaire has the high inter-grader reliability and the strong correlation. But, low academic achievement was generally observed in the subjects. They had difficulty in describing their knowledge via their own language and drawing up accurate and detailed answers. They recognized the positive aspects of descriptive evaluation questionnaire, but they felt it uncomfortable due to study-burden and description itself. To overcome these limitations, it is required that students should experience various materials related to subject contents in classes as well as textbooks, concentrate themselves on finding solutions for problems, expand their scope, and practice describe them in advance. Therefore, the additional training for description evaluation questionnaire will be necessary for the more efficient and discriminative questionnaire. Also the questionnaire with high validity and reliability should be developed and the aggressive and voluntary participation of teachers will be needed.
With advancements in augmented reality technology, attempts to apply it in various fields have increased. With advancements in information technology and a growth in the number of Korean learners in Korea and abroad, there is a growing demand for state-of-the-art Korean learning contents. Because the Korean learning contents developed using augmented reality have been found insufficient, this paper investigates ways to develop better contents. This paper proposes ways to develop learning contents that can increase learners' interest in learning and lead to academic achievement, because the methods of education in Korea are limited to textbook learning and learning through the media. Because of the structure of fairytales and the educational lessons that can be learned from them, Korean learning contents are developed using fairytales. Additionally, Korean contents are designed to implement augmented reality technology, and learners need only have computers, webcams, and markers to make use of it. In consideration of Korean learners who do not have access to augmented reality technology, this paper clarifies that there should be a harmony between existing and new Korean learning contents. On the basis of this study, further studies on Korean education exploring the role of augmented reality should be conducted so that Korean learning contents that use diverse types of augmented reality technology can be will developed.
This study analyzed the aspect of occupational contents shown in total 24 types of Technology & Home Economics (1). (2) textbooks for middle school in accordance with the 2009 revised curriculum. Analyzing the type of occupation shown in textbooks based on the Korean Standard Classification of Occupations(hierarchical classification), the frequency(ratio), and the aspect of occupational contents in each unit of textbooks and each data type, this study provided basic data to be able to understand diverse aspects of occupational contents. In the results of study, in case of Technology & Home Economics textbooks for middle school, the large area of 'home life' presented occupational contents in the relatively high ratio than the 'world of technology' while the frequency(ratio) of occupational contents was very much different in each publisher, large area, and unit. The occupation name presented in textbooks provided very limited information in the level of 5.27% of occupations presented in the Korea Dictionary of Occupations. Especially, providing occupational information concentrated in professionals & relevant practiceans in the type of the Korean Standard Classification of Occupations(hierarchical classification), it was limited to provide opportunities to learn the diversity related to occupation. Based on such results of study, on top of introducing diverse occupational contents to make students cherish all the occupations, it would be also necessary to seek for institutional measures related to textbook development/career education, so that they could explore career by considering their aptitude and interest.
The purpose of the research was to find out the difference in students' academic achievement in Technology Education between students with a lecture, those who perform a content-related project after a lecture, and those who carry out a content-related project without a lecture. The results of this study are as follows. First, taking advantage of both a lecture and project-based lesson led to better achievement than using only a project in Technology Education subject of an academic high school in academic achievement in 'knowledge' area. I infer that it is because they reviewed what they had learned in a lecture and the preparation and practice of the project caused them to memorize it. Second, there was not a meaningful difference in academic achievement in 'understanding' area among the group with a lecture, the one with both a lecture and a project, and the one with only a project. However, considering the comparison of averages and the p-value of F-test, I can deduce that the test outcome influences students with a lecture and a project positively in terms of academic achievement. Third, there was not a meaningful difference in the academic achievement in 'adaptation' area among the group with a lecture, the one with a lecture and a project, and the one with a project. I can conclude that those results are because the difficulty level of evaluation was high and they produced a model just by copying textbook contents.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the nutritional adequacy of one-dish meals in the middle and high school technology & Home Economics textbooks cooking practice units. Total of 27 technology & Home Economics textbooks(9 books published by 9 different publishers each for grade 7, 9, and 10) were examined. The total number of one-dish meals introduced in the textbooks was 27, remarkably low, and there are only 7 Korean one-dish meals. It was found that most one-dish meals failed to meet 1/3 of daily estimated energy requirement. According to the analysis of energy contribution ratio by carbohydrate, protein, and fats in one-dish meals, only 4 Korean foods, such as Yubuchobab, Bibimbab, Deokguk and Guksujangguk showed ideal energy contribution ratio. Among the foreign foods, there was no one-dish meal with ideal energy contribution ratio. According to the index of nutritional quality(INQ) analysis, there was no such one-dish meal which supply all the essential nutrients in adequate amounts. All one-dish meals introduced in the textbooks contained excessive protein, but almost no vitamin $B_1$ and $B_2$. Ca and Fe, likely insufficient in Korean people, was found to be a nutrient insufficient also in most one-dish meals.
