생선의 Allergen성 판정과 Allergen성을 감소시키는 가공학적 방법 (Evaluation of Allergenicity for Fish and Method for Reduction of Allergenicity by Food Technological Treatment)

  • In this research the results showed that Evans blue stain causes vascular permeation at antibody injection site by the passive cutaneous anaphylaxis(PCA) screening of octpus minor so we concluded. Octopus minor causes allergy. Psedosciaena Polyactis, Raja Kenojei, Metapenaeus joyneri also showed allergenicity. Microwave and autoclaving appeared to reduced allergenicity(up to 99%) during the technological treatment processing. On the other hand, UV light didn't seem to change the protein structure of allergens affect the allergenicity. Therefore, the technological treatment processing of fish such as canning and microwave would possibly reduce the allergenicity. Among the ultrafiltration fraction of Octopus minor, Pseudosciaena Polyactis, Raja Kenojei and Metapenaeus joyneri, those fraction over 100,000 contained allergen and those under 100,000 and when screening allergenic fish went through 10,000∼100,000 ultrafiltration, only the fraction of over 100,000 showed the anaphylactis activity for PCA. However whether screening fish would cause anaphylaxis in human or not is questionable. The future clinical experiment will verify this result with clinical experiment patients. 본 연구 결과로 낙지의 PCA검색으로써 항체주사 부위에 Evan's Blue 착색으로 인하여 vascular permation이 일어나 allergynicity 반응이 인정되므로 낙지는 allergy가 있다고 할 수 있다. 조기, 홍어, 새우도 역시 allergenicity성이 나타난 것을 볼 수 있었다. 또한 공정 중 microwave와 autoclaving은 4가지 수산식품 낙지, 조기, 홍어, 새우의 allergenicity를 현저히 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 자외선은 단백질로 구성된 allergen의 구조는 크게 변화시키지 못하는 것으로 보여진 것을 알 수 있다. 그러므로 생선의 가공방법은 통조림 가공이나 microwave 처리가 allergenicity성을 감소시킬 수 있는 것으로 보여진다. 낙지, 조기, 홍어, 새우의 한외여과 fraction중 고분자인 100,000이상에서만 allergenicity가 나타났다. 따라서 이 allergen들의 분자량은 100,000 이상으로 추정되며 검색된 allergynicity 생선을 10,000∼100,000으로 한외여과 하였을 때 100,000 이상의 fraction에서만 PCA에 의해 allergenicity가 있는 것으로 인정되었다. 그러나 이 검색된 생선이 anaphylaxis가 인간에게서까지도 반응할지는 의문이다. 이 연구의 결과는 차후 임상실험환자에 의하여 최종 검증되어야 한다.

Malmquist 생산성 지수(MPI)를 이용한 한국 조선 산업의 생산성 변화 (Analysis on Productivity Change in Korean Shipbuilding Industry using Malmquist Productivity Index)

  • 본 고는 Malmquist 생산성 지수를 이용하여 글로벌 금융위기 이전인 2001-2008년, 그 이후인 2008-2015년 두 기간 동안 조선 산업의 생산성변화를 기술효율성변화, 순효율성변화, 규모효율성변화, 기술변화로 구분하여 측정함과 동시에 두 기간 동안 생산성 변화를 비교하였다. 전반기(2001-2008년)에는 2.8%의 생산성 향상되었으며, 이는 기술효율성 보다는 기술진보에 기인된 것으로 나타났다. 후반기(2008-2015)에는 -3.4%의 생산성 하락으로 나타났다. 이는 글로벌 금융위기이후 세계경제의 침체로 인한 선박수주 물량의 감소, 중국 조선 산업의 부상 등으로 인해 기술효율성 저하, 기술퇴보 등에 기인된 것으로 나타났다. 두 기간 중 전반기 가 후반기보다 생산성이 높게 나타났다. 특히 두 기간 간에 이러한 차이는 기술변화에 의해 기인된 것으로, 즉, 기술 퇴보는 생산성 감소로 나타났으며, 통계적 검증을 통해서도 이를 입증할 수 있었다. 본 연구 결과에 의한 정책적 시사점으로는 정부 그리고 각 DMU들은 향후 생산성 증대를 위해, 글로벌 조선 산업의 환경변화에 대응하는 신기술개발 그리고 비효율적 요인을 제거하는 전략이 필요하다는 점을 제시하고 있다.

경제위기 이후 기술 변화가 미숙련 근로자의 고용상황에 미친 영향 (Technology and the Demand for Unskilled Labor After the Economic Crisis)

  • 경제위기 이후 미숙련 근로자의 고용 상황이 상대적으로 악화되고 있다. 숙련 근로자의 고용비중이 증가하는 가운데 임금의 교육 프리미엄이 상승하는 현상은 숙련 근로자의 상대적 수요가 공급보다 빠르게 증가하였음을 시사한다. 숙련고용비중 변화를 산업 간 변화와 산업 내 변화로 분해한 결과는 숙련 근로자의 수요 증가가 국제교역 확대보다는 기술 변화에 기인하였을 가능성을 시사하며, 회귀분석 결과는 이러한 숙련편향적 기술 변화가 정보통신기술과 관련이 있음을 나타낸다. 이와 같이 정보통신기술의 발전이 경제위기 이후에도 미숙련 근로자의 고용상황을 상대적으로 악화시키는 요인으로 작용하고 있는 것으로 보인다. 그러나 숙련고용비중이 크게 증가하였던 경제위기 직후 기간에는 정보통신기술투자 집약도와 상관없이 대부분의 산업에서 숙련 근로자의 비중이 늘어난 것으로 나타나 정보통신기술 이외의 요인도 작용하였던 것으로 생각된다.

국가 기상기술력 수준 평가 - 한국, 미국, 일본을 대상으로 한 비교 연구 - (Capability Assessment on Meteorological Technology - Comparative Study of Technological Prowess on Korea, U.S., and Japan -)

  • The objective of this study was to assess the meteorological capability of Korea by comparing with that of the U.S. and Japan as of 2010. The research was conducted based on various indices and surveys, and quantified the results using the Gordon's scoring model. The index assessment used 11 items derived from 9 segments - surface observation, advanced observation and observations quality in the observation field; data assimilation, numerical model and infrastructure in the data processing field; forecast accuracy in the forecast field; climate prediction and climate change in the climate field - in this research, we classified the meteorological technology into four fields. In the survey assessment, another 10 items in addition to the above 11 ones (total 21 items) were used. In the field of climate, Korea was found to lag far behind the U.S. (96.5p) and Japan (90.5p) with 77.6 points out of 100, which is 18.9 and 12.9 points lower than them respectively. On the other hand, Korea showed the narrowest gap with Japan (95.3p) and the U.S. (94.2) in the forecasting field, recording 90.3 points. Particularly, in surface observation, infrastructure and forecast accuracy segment, Korea was on a par with the U.S. and Japan, boasting 100.5 percent compared to their counterparts. However, in advanced observation, data quality and climate change segment, Korea was only at the level of 81.5 percent compared to that of the U.S. and Japan. All in all, the technological prowess of Korea, scoring 84.6 points, stood at 89.7 percent of that of the U.S. (94.3p) and 91.9 percent of Japan (92.1p).

Modified Multi-Chaotic Systems that are Based on Pixel Shuffle for Image Encryption

  • Recently, a pixel-chaotic-shuffling (PCS) method has been proposed by Huang et al. for encrypting color images using multiple chaotic systems like the Henon, the Lorenz, the Chua, and the Rossler systems. All of which have great encryption performance. The authors claimed that their pixel-chaotic-shuffle (PCS) encryption method has high confidential security. However, the security analysis of the PCS method against the chosen-plaintext attack (CPA) and known-plaintext attack (KPA) performed by Solak et al. successfully breaks the PCS encryption scheme without knowing the secret key. In this paper we present an improved shuffling pattern for the plaintext image bits to make the cryptosystem proposed by Huang et al. resistant to chosen-plaintext attack and known-plaintext attack. The modifications in the existing PCS encryption method are proposed to improve its security performance against the potential attacks described above. The Number of Pixel Change Rate (NPCR), Unified Average Changed Intensity (UACI), information entropy, and correlation coefficient analysis are performed to evaluate the statistical performance of the modified PCS method. The simulation analysis reveals that the modified PCS method has better statistical features and is more resistant to attacks than Huang et al.'s PCS method.

한국의 노동수요 : 문헌 연구 (Labor Demand in Korea: A Survey)

  • 이 논문은 한국 노동시장의 수요구조에 관한 기존 연구들을 서베이한 것이다. 한국 노동수요의 특징을 보면 노동과 자본 간에 대체재 관계가 성립하며, 노동을 사무직과 생산직으로 세분해도 대체관계는 변함없다. 대체탄력성의 크기는 0과 1 사이에 있다. 고용과 근로시간은 대체/보완 관계가 명확하지 않다. 법정 근로시간 단축은 실 근로시간을 단축시켰으나 고용은 늘지 않았다. 노동수요 탄력성은 단기에 0.5 미만으로 작다. 기술변화는 1980년대 중반 이후 노동절약적으로 변하였고 1990년대 중반 이후 숙련편향적 성격으로 숙련노동 수요를 늘렸다.

외끌이저인망어업에서 어로기술개발에 따른 어획성능지수 변동 (Change of relative fishing power index from technological development in the Danish seine fishery)

  • Thousands of demersal fishes inhabit in the waters around Korea and most of them are overexploited. One of reasons is technological development, which increases the efficiency of the vessels continuously. The analysis was conducted to identify the change of fishing power index to develop the vessel and gear technology that may have improved the fishing efficiency of the Danish seine fishery from 1960s to 2010s. Gross tonnage was decreased stably, but the horse power was increased annually. The length of ground rope, warp and hand rope was somewhat longer, but changed a little. Color fish finder was utilized from the mid-1960s and positioning system was used five years later. A hydraulic line hauler were introduced in the mid-1980s, and supply rate was gradually increased. Surveys on the supply and upgrading of fishing equipment utilized visiting researchers. Therefore, the relative fishing power index in the Danish seine fishery increased stably from 1.0 in 1970 to 1.0 in 1980, to 1.2 in 1990, to 1.3 in 2000 and to 1.3 in 2010. The results are expected to contribute to reasonable fisheries stock management.

Differential Change in the Prevalence of the Ascaris, Trichuris and Clonorchis infection Among Past East Asian Populations

  • As we learn more about parasites in ancient civilizations, data becomes available that can be used to see how infection may change over time. The aim of this study is to assess how common certain intestinal parasites were in China and Korea in the past 2000 years, and make comparisons with prevalence data from the 20th century. This allows us to go on to investigate how and why changes in parasite prevalence may have occurred at different times. Here we show that Chinese liver fluke (Clonorchis sinensis) dropped markedly in prevalence in both Korea and China earlier than did roundworm (Ascaris lumbricoides) and whipworm (Trichuris trichiura). We use historical evidence to determine why this was the case, exploring the role of developing sanitation infrastructure, changing use of human feces as crop fertilizer, development of chemical fertilizers, snail control programs, changing dietary preferences, and governmental public health campaigns during the 20th century.

Transformation of Sectoral Innovation Pattern : Evidence from Korea

  • Purpose - This work tries to analyze the transformation of sectoral innovation pattern as time goes by to enhance the understanding on sectoral innovative activities, particularly considering the change of the nature of knowledge, and the trend of convergence. Research design, data, and methodology - This work tries to identify main factors, which determine the output of technological innovation through the econometric analysis, utilizing the result of Korean Innovation Survey and find a stylized fact on the change of the innovation pattern. Result - As a result of estimation, some major elements show different effects for two discrete years, 2002 and 2010; in chemical industry the open information source and neutral basic research become more important with the appropriation mechanism such as patents, and in machinery industry, the importance of internal information has been getting decreased with rising importance of customers. Conclusion - This work presents that some elements show different effects for two discrete years. Among three major elements, the source of information and appropriation mechanism shows different features for both industries. This means that we should explicit consider the changing nature of innovative environment, which leads to and heavily influence whether the innovative activity would be effective or not when we design innovation strategy and innovation policy.
