평판 디스플레이 기술경쟁에서 지배적 디자인의 출현에 관한 연구 (Research on the Emergence of Dominant Design from Technological Competition in the Flat-panel Display Industry)

  • CRT(Cathode Ray Tube)가 디스플레이 산업에서 지배적 디자인으로 출현한 이후, 현재 평판 디스플레이 산업의 지배적 디자인인 LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) 디스플레이는 차세대 디스플레이로 되기 위하여 유망한 디스플레이 기술들과 경쟁 중이다. ICT 제품들에 장착되는 디스플레이는 기술 변화, 혁신적인 특성, 경쟁 역학 등과 같은 ICT 산업의 대표적인 특징들을 나타내며, 다양한 ICT 기기들에 부착되어 산업과 시장을 지배하기 위하여 기술적으로 진화하고 있다. 본 연구는 기술, 조직, 환경 차원에서 기술집약적인 ICT 산업의 지배성에 영향을 미치는 결정요인들을 확인하여 지배적 디자인의 출현을 통합적 관점에서 분석하였다. 이를 위해 선행 연구를 토대로 ICT 산업의 특징을 반영한 지배적 디자인의 개념적 특성과 결정요인의 통합적 프레임워크를 제시하고, 평판 디스플레이 기술경쟁 사례를 본 프레임워크에 적용하였다. 분석 결과, 평판 디스플레이 산업에서는 기술적 특성과 시장 수용을 토대로 유망한 기술이 기술경쟁을 통하여 산업 내 지배적 위치에 오르게 되고, 산업수준을 포함한 다양한 환경적 요인들에 의해 해당 산업과 시장을 점유하며, 지배적 위치를 유지하게 된다. 본 연구결과는 지배적 디자인에 관한 연구에서 본원적 기술간 차이와 기술혁신 속도의 중요성을 제시함으로써 지배적 디자인의 출현에 영향을 미치는 결정요인 중 기술적 요인의 중요성에 대한 이해를 확장할 뿐만 아니라 디스플레이 산업을 비롯한 ICT 산업 내 기업들의 경쟁 전략과 전략적인 지침을 수립할 수 있는 현실적인 시사점을 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

기업 패널 DB를 활용한 대구지역 중소기업 기술혁신 결정요인 분석 (Analysis of Determinants of Technological Innovation for SMEs Using Corporate Panel DB)

  • In SMEs, technological innovation is recognized as an important tool in terms of sustainable growth. This study analyzed the determinants of technological innovation by using the information of the corporate panel DB composed of local SMEs. The internal factors were added with technological innovation capacity and production capacity and the industrial cluster environment was first applied to external factors. Also, whether the industrial cluster environment influences technological innovation through R&D capabilities, the mediating effect was tested with the Sobel Test. Among the internal and external factors, the most important determinant was marketing ability, and a policy was proposed to develop measures to increase R&D capability with mediating effect. Among the technological innovation variables, which are dependent variables, the most determinant factor was the proportion of new product sales. For this, it is considered that additional research such as longitudinal research with the concept of repetition and parallax using the corporate panel DB is necessary.

스마트홈 제품 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석 연구: 기술적 신뢰를 매개변수로 (A Study on Factors Influencing the Intention to Purchase Smart Home Products: Using Technological Trust as a Mediating Variable)

  • This research is a study on smart homes products, which interest and research are being conducted, because of the recent development of the Internet of Things. Consumer's Purchase intention was set as a dependent variable, and technological trust was used as a mediating variable. We used Technology Acceptance Model as background theory. Perceived ease of use, Perceived usefulness, Security, and Brand were set as independent variables. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and security significantly affected technological trust that consumers feel. Second, technological trust also had a significant effect on purchase intention, and it was found that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and product security, excluding brands, had an indirect mediating effect on consumers' purchase intention through technological trust. This study is meaningful in that by conducting user-centered research, and results that are partially contrasted with existing studies are derived from increasing the interest of factors we used.

  • In recent years, technological competition in the automobile sector is accelerating. This study analyzes the status of patents from a global perspective of three promising future items that Korea has selected as core technologies in the field of autonomous driving,. And the technological cooperation ecosystem was identified through network analysis centered on scientific metrology. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the growth of individual technologies has been strengthened in recent years, and although key source technologies have been largely preempted in major global countries, a close cooperative ecosystem between institutions, companies, and universities in major countries has not yet been formed. Specifically, the US and Japan have the technological leadership, while China is rapidly rising, and Korea is chasing after it as a latecomer. Therefore, it is necessary to continuously strengthen technological cooperation such as R&D of core technology to overcome technological limitations and strengthening of infrastructure construction, attracting excellent foreign talents and international exchanges. This analysis is meaningful in that it explores the global status of Korea's technology and the possibility of technological cooperation from various perspectives in the future from the viewpoint of preoccupation of future technology, rather than grasping the trend of a specific technology.

Altmetrics: Factor Analysis for Assessing the Popularity of Research Articles on Twitter

  • Altmetrics measure the frequency of references about an article on social media platforms, like Twitter. This paper studies a variety of factors that affect the popularity of articles (i.e., the number of article mentions) in the field of psychology on Twitter. Firstly, in this study, we classify Twitter users mentioning research articles as academic versus non-academic users and experts versus non-experts, using a machine learning approach. Then we build a negative binomial regression model with the number of Twitter mentions of an article as a dependant variable, and nine Twitter related factors (the number of followers, number of friends, number of status, number of lists, number of favourites, number of retweets, number of likes, ratio of academic users, and ratio of expert users) and seven article related factors (the number of authors, title length, abstract length, abstract readability, number of institutions, citation count, and availability of research funding) as independent variables. From our findings, if a research article is mentioned by Twitter users with a greater number of friends, status, favourites, and lists, by tweets with a large number of retweets and likes, and largely by Twitter users with academic and expertise knowledge on the field of psychology, the article gains more Twitter mentions. In addition, articles with a greater number of authors, title length, abstract length, and citation count, and articles with research funding get more attention from Twitter users.

Joint Time Delay and Angle Estimation Using the Matrix Pencil Method Based on Information Reconstruction Vector

  • A single snapshot data can only provide limited amount of information so that the rank of covariance matrix is not full, which is not adopted to complete the parameter estimation directly using the traditional super-resolution method. Aiming at solving the problem, a joint time delay and angle estimation using matrix pencil method based on information reconstruction vector for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal is proposed. Firstly, according to the channel frequency response vector of each array element, the algorithm reconstructs the vector data with delay and angle parameter information from both frequency and space dimensions. Then the enhanced data matrix for the extended array element is constructed, and the parameter vector of time delay and angle is estimated by the two-dimensional matrix pencil (2D MP) algorithm. Finally, the joint estimation of two-dimensional parameters is accomplished by the parameter pairing. The algorithm does not need a pseudo-spectral peak search, and the location of the target can be determined only by a single receiver, which can reduce the overhead of the positioning system. The theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the estimation accuracy of the proposed method in a single snapshot and low signal-to-noise ratio environment is much higher than that of Root Multiple Signal Classification algorithm (Root-MUSIC), and this method also achieves the higher estimation performance and efficiency with lower complexity cost compared to the one-dimensional matrix pencil algorithm.

혁신형 중소기업을 위한 기술지원정책 연구 (A Study of Technical Support Policy for Innovative SMEs)

  • 본 연구에서는 중소기업 R&D 투자 지체와 정부지원 보완이라는 문제의식에 기인하여 중소기업 기술지원정책과 기술경쟁력과의 관계를 실증 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 종합하면, 다음과 같이 두 가지의 결과를 도출할 수 있다. 첫째, 중소기업 기술경쟁력에 영향을 주는 기술지원정책은 기술 자금세제지원, 기술인프라지원 등 직접적인 R&D 지원정책이 기술경쟁력에 높은 영향을 나타냈으며, 기업특성에 따라 1차협력기업 5~49인(소규모 기업) 제조업의 특성을 가진 혁신형 중소기업이 기술지원정책과 기술 경쟁력간 긍정적 영향 관계가 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 결국 정책자금, 투자유치, 대출 확대 등으로 기술자금지원을 늘려야 하며 그 가운데서도 고성장 혁신형 중소기업 육성을 위한 전략적 R&D 자원배분과 연구인력지원 강화가 필요하다는 것을 시사점으로 제시하였다.

Secure Transmission Scheme Based on the Artificial Noise in D2D-Enabled Full-Duplex Cellular Networks

  • In this paper, a secure transmission scheme based on the artificial noise is proposed for D2D communications underlaying the full-duplex cellular network, and a secure power allocation scheme to maximize the overall secrecy rate of both the cellular user and D2D transmitter node is presented. Firstly, the full-duplex base station transmits the artificial noise to guarantee the secure communications when it receives signals of cellular uplinks. Under this secure framework, it is found that improving the transmission power of the cellular user or the D2D transmitter node will degrade the secrecy rate of the other, although will improve itself secrecy rate obviously. Hence, a secure power allocation scheme to maximize the overall secrecy rate is presented subject to the security requirement of the cellular user. However, the original power optimization problem is non-convex. To efficiently solve it, we recast the original problem into a convex program problem by utilizing the proper relaxation and the successive convex approximation algorithm. Simulation results evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

기술혁신의 선행요인과 성과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Antecedents and Performances of Technological Innovation in Small-Medium Ventures)

  • 본 연구에서는 중소벤처기업의 기술혁신을 유발하는 선행요인이 무엇인지, 그리고 기술혁신이 기업의 재무성과에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고자 한다. 따라서 기업의 외부환경 (국내·해외 시장 점유율, 정부의 규제 및 지원, 경쟁의 격화정도)과 기업의 내부 경영자원으로서 유형자원(R&D 투자규모, 기업크기, 기업의 연령), 무형자원 (기업의 능력, 의사결정의 중앙집중화 정도), 및 인적자원 (R&D 관련 인력의 질적 수준)과 기술혁신의 관계를 검토하였으며, 또한 기술혁신과 기업의 재무성과 관계를 분석하였다. 실증분석 결과, 해외시장 점유율, R&D 투자규모, 기업의 규모, 기업능력, 중앙집중화 등의 요인이 중소기업의 기술혁신 (특허권, 지적재산권)에 유의적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 또한 기술혁신은 기업의 매출액 및 총자산과 유의적 관계가 있다는 분석결과가 제시되었다. 결론적으로, 본 연구는 기업이 기술혁신을 효과적으로 추진하고 그 성과를 실현하기 위한 전략적 선택을 모색하는데 어느 정도 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.
