In this article, we introduce the technologies and trend of technical evolution of Payload Data Handling Unit (PDHU) for Earth Observation Satellites. As well, we review the efforts for the Koreanization of PDHU so far, and conclude with some suggestions for future work.

In the early 1990s, as Korean automobile industry has made rapid progress due to favorable trend in domestic demand and steady increase of export it is very important to analyze the extents of competitiveness and the trends of change in the field of production. In this dissertation, the current situation of our competitiveness and its changes in the field of production are synthetically reviewed through examining productivity and quality, that is output, as well as other overall factors related in the process of production. And this analysis reassures that first of all, our prior tasks lie in the quality and volume of production, and we should develope competitiveness through multilateral innovation of management Now in order to meet these prior tasks, we must secure our own technology design and ability for innovaton ; enlarge overseas local production technical tie-up with leading companies and develop M&A for globalization ; improve price competitiveness, construct cooperation of labor and capital, and improve the structure of finance for innovation of management saving the cost ; establish the new method of production for the preparation of increasing overseas investment in near future.

최근 고정된 네트워크가 아닌 센싱 노드를 기반으로 한 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크의 관심이 높아지고 있는 추세이다. 센서 네트워크에서는 넓은 지역의 정보 수집이나 망 기반시설이 갖추어 지지 않은 곳의 정보 수집 및 가공과 통신을 위하여 배터리로 구동되는 센싱 노드를 사용한다. 배터리로 구동되는 센싱노드는 통신을 위해 저전력을 사용하기 때문에 근거리 통신만 가능하다. 이러한 거리 제약을 극복하기 위해 멀티 홉 릴레이 기능을 이용한 이동 Ad-hoc 네트워크가 많이 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 이동 Ad-hoc 네트워크에서 운용되어지는 프로토콜과, 기존 망과의 연동을 위해 쓰이고 있는 기술에 대해 알아보고, 이동 Ad-hoc 네트워크상에서의 보안 기술을 고찰 하고자 한다.

Mechanical splices has been applied in nuclear power plant according to ASME(American Society of Mechanical Engineering) and ACI(American Concrete Institute) Code requirements. In particular sleeve with ferrous filler metal splices and cold roll formed parallel threaded splices have been used in domestic nuclear power plants. The objective of this study is to find out the constructability of the mechanical splices which had been used in Korea nuclear job site and to review the technical trends in the near future.

IMO(International Maritime Organization)에서는 최근에 AIS, LRIT, SSAS 등 현대화된 통신 기술이 융합된 시스템을 도입하고 있으며 HF 및 VHF 대역에서 e-mail 등 현대화된 데이터 통신 기술을 도입하려고 한다. 이에 따라서 ITU-R에서는 현대화된 해상이동통신시스템에서 사용되는 스펙트럼의 재조정 및 통신방식 권고안을 작성 중에 있다. 본 고에서는 최근 IMO COMSAR회의 및 ITU-R SG8B회의 그리고 IEC TC80회의에 기고되어 논의 중이 해상이동통신시스템의 기술 및 표준화 동향을 분석하고 기술하였다. 특히 본 고에서는 2005년 9월에 개최되었던 ITU-R SG8B에 제출된 기고서를 중심으로 기술을 분석하고, ITU-R, IMO 그리고 IEC의 향후 대응 방향을 기술하였다.

The advantages of LED(Light Emitting Diode) are low electric power consumption, long life time and excellent visibility. And a LED light source does not include the mercury(Hg) and or a filament, it is expected as an environmentally friendly next generation light source with its good reliability. In order to design and develope the flash lantern using LED for aironautical ground lights, technical trends and new standards about the aironautical ground lights were inspected, and power consumption and flash time for effective luminous intensity of aironautical ground lights were analyzed.

본 고에서는 2007년에 개최되는 ITU(국제통신연합)의 WRC(세계무선총회)를 앞두고 IMO COMSAR 회의 및 ITU-R WP8B 회의에서 논의되고 있는 해상이동통신시스템 현대화와 관련된 기술 및 표준화에 대해 분석하고 기술하였다. IMO에서는 최근에 AIS, LRIT, SSAS 등 현대화된 통신 기술이 융합된 시스템을 도입하고 있으며 HF 및 VHF 대역에서 e-mail 등 현대화된 데이터 통신 기술을 도입하려고 한다. 이에 따라서 ITU-R 에서는 현대화된 해상이동통신시스템에서 사용되는 스펙트럼의 재조정 및 통신방식 권고안을 작성중에 있다. 이를 위하여 OFDM, SDR 등 새로운 기술을 해상통신에 접목시키기 위한 각국의 기고서가 IMO 및 ITU의 관련 회의에 제출되어 검토되고 있다. 본 고에서는 최근 IMO COMSAR회의 및 ITU-R 8B회의에 기고되어 논의 중인 해상이동통신시스템의 기술 동향을 분석하고 기술하였으며, 추후 도입되어 신속하고 효율적으로 운용될 수 있도록 관련 기술기준 및 표준을 분석하고 기술하였다.

본고에서는 전해동박의 개발 연혁, 제조 공정 및 주요 적용 사례에 대해 소개한다. 전해동박이 전자 소재에 적용되는 대표적인 사례는 Li 이차전지의 음극 집전체 및 인쇄회로기판의 회로이다. Mobile Device의 슬림화 및 다기능화에 따라 Li 이차전지의 용량 증대 및 인쇄회로기판의 협피치화가 필요하다. 따라서 Li 이차전지의 단위 부피당 용량 증대를 위해서는 음극 집전체로 적용되는 동박은 극박화 및 고강도 특성이 요구되고 있다. 인쇄회로기판의 협피치화에 따라 이들 제품에 적용되고 있는 동박은 두께 및 조도를 저감시키는 방향으로 기술이 전개되고 있다. 본고에서는 전자 소재용으로 적용되고 있는 전해 동박의 최근 제품 및 기술 동향과 향후 제품 전개 방향에 대해 논의하고자 한다.

Bandwidth Trading(BT) represents a potential market with over 1 trillion USD across the world and high growth potential. BT is also likely to accelerate globalization of the telecommunications industry and massive restructuring driven by unbundling rush. However, systematic researches on BT remain at an infant stage. This study starts with structure analysis of the Internet industry, and discusses significance of Internet interconnection with respect to BT Issues. We also describe the bandwidth commoditization trends and review technical requirements for effective Internet interconnection with BT capability. Taking a step further, this study explores the possibility of improving efficiency of network providers and increasing user convenience by developing an architectural prototype of Hub-&-Spoke interconnection model required to facilitate BT. The BT market provides an Innovative base to ease rigidity of two-party contract and Increase service efficiency. However, as fair, efficient operation by third party is required, this research finally proposes an exchanging hub named NIBX(New Internet Business eXchange).

In this paper, the authors introduce a high-speed microprocessor based on automatic vacuum capacitor switch with a modified digital filter design using distributed arithmetic. The automation trends particularly the automatic vacuum capacitor switch has helped ameliorate the power factor essentials and automatically triggered to close when the line current exceeds rated value. Microprocessor relays use digital filters to extract only the fundamental and attenuate harmonics. To provide optimum speed characteristics a distributed arithmetic based filter design in the microprocessor controller which not only enhances filtering speed but additionally enables lower power consumption at the cost of area has been introduced. The result is a unified description that describes a digital filter structure down to bit level.
