This paper introduces the electronic ballast for high pressure sodium (HPS) lamps which provides power regulation during the whole lamp life without using a closed-loop power control system, in spite of large variations of lamp characteristics resulting from lamp aging. The structure of the electronic ballast and the parameters of HPS lamps are described. A mathematical model for the ballast is developed and used for the design and analysis of the ballast. A design procedure is presented to design the ballast which provides intrinsic power regulation over the whole lamp life. To improve the technical specifications of the ballast, the practical and standard constraints are considered in the design. According to the design procedure, an electronic ballast for 250-W HPS lamps is designed. All theoretical analyses are verified with the help of a semi-industrial experimental setup. The results validate that the designed ballast provides power regulation during the whole lamp life.

The main purpose of the study is to analyze the main aspects of state regulation of the banking business in the context of social and digital transformation. One of the key elements of the functioning of the economy of any country are banks that ensure the redistribution of financial resources and stimulate economic growth. However, the banking sector, like other activities, is dynamic and depends on the pace of development and forms of technological progress that affect the forms and types of information and digital technologies, as well as the globalization and remoteness of banking services. Accordingly, the need for effective implementation of the latest technologies becomes relevant, which will not only help increase consumer satisfaction with the banking product, but also ensure the development of the country's financial sector. As a result of the study, trends in the development of state regulation of the banking sector in the digital economy were identified.

The main purpose of the study is to analyze the key aspects of state regulation of the hotel and restaurant complex in the system of tourism development and the national economy. The effectiveness of the regulation of the hotel and restaurant complex in the system of development of tourism and the national economy largely depends on the presence of an effective central executive body that would take care of the problems of the development of the industry, the quality and perfection of legal support, a strategic view of programming the development of the industry within the state and regions, as well as administrative mechanisms of public administration, which fully ensure control over the activities of economic entities and the quality of the services they provide. Based on the results of the study, key aspects of state regulation of the hotel and restaurant complex in the system of tourism development and the national economy were identified.

Objective: The present study was executed to explore the molecular mechanism of fibroblast growth factor 10 (FGF10) gene in bovine adipogenesis. Methods: The bovine FGF10 gene was overexpressed through Ad-FGF10 or inhibited through siFGF10 and their negative control (NC) in bovine adipocytes, and the multiplicity of infection, transfection efficiency, interference efficiency were evaluated through quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction, western blotting and fluorescence microscopy. The lipid droplets, triglycerides (TG) content and the expression levels of adipogenic marker genes were measured during preadipocytes differentiation. The differentially expressed genes were explored through deep RNA sequencing. Results: The highest mRNA level was found in omasum, subcutaneous fat, and intramuscular fat. Moreover, the highest mRNA level was found in adipocytes at day 4 of differentiation. The results of red-oil o staining showed that overexpression (Ad-FGF10) of the FGF10 gene significantly (p<0.05) reduced the lipid droplets and TG content, and their down-regulation (siFGF10) increased the measurement of lipid droplets and TG in differentiated bovine adipocytes. Furthermore, the overexpression of the FGF10 gene down regulated the mRNA levels of adipogenic marker genes such as CCAAT enhancer binding protein alpha (C/EBPα), fatty acid binding protein (FABP4), peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ (PPARγ), lipoprotein lipase (LPL), and Fas cell surface death receptor (FAS), similarly, down-regulation of the FGF10 gene enriched the mRNA levels of C/EBPα, PPARγ, FABP4, and LPL genes (p<0.01). Additionally, the protein levels of PPARγ and FABP4 were reduced (p<0.05) in adipocytes infected with Ad-FGF10 gene and enriched in adipocytes transfected with siFGF10. Moreover, a total of 1,774 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) including 157 up regulated and 1,617 down regulated genes were explored in adipocytes infected with Ad-FGF10 or Ad-NC through deep RNA-sequencing. The top Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes pathways regulated through DEGs were the PPAR signaling pathway, cell cycle, base excision repair, DNA replication, apoptosis, and regulation of lipolysis in adipocytes. Conclusion: Therefore, we can conclude that the FGF10 gene is a negative regulator of bovine adipogenesis and could be used as a candidate gene in marker-assisted selection.

그간 국내의 공간정보 기술기준은 개발, 관리가 하나의 기관이 아닌 다양한 기관에서 진행되어 표준 및 기술기준 간의 중복제정 및 내용 불일치 등의 다양한 문제가 지속적으로 발생되어져 왔다. 이러한 문제들은 단기간이 아닌 장기간 지속적으로 발생하였으며, 이를 해결하고자 그간 다양한 연구들이 진행되어져 왔으나 결국 근본적으로 해결되지 않았다. 하지만 현재 국내의 상황은 국가기술표준원의 '범부처 참여형 국가표준운영체계'을 통해 체계적이고 일원화된 표준체계 구축이 요구되는 환경으로 변모하고 있으며, 이와 관련하여 국토교통부는 국가공간정보 표준 선순환체계인 'KSDI 표준 체계'를 구축하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 흐름에 맞춰 그간 지적받아온 기술기준과 관련된 다양한 한계점들을 해결하기 위해, 기존 연구에 대한 고찰을 통해 기술기준의 문제점들을 살펴보았으며, 이에 대한 해결방안으로 기술기준의 재정의, 표준과 기술기준의 관계모델, 상호운용, 관리방안의 측면에서 그 방법을 정리하고 제시하였다.

This study investigates the impact of the country's governance on the revenue efficiency of 108 Islamic banks from 26 countries offering Islamic banking and finance products services. The technical efficiencies of individual Islamic banks have been analyzed using the Data Envelopment Analysis method. The data will be pooled across the selected countries and utilize the intermediation approach. The Ordinary Least Square estimation method is employed to examine the impact of country supervision and regulation on the technical efficiency of Islamic banks. As robustness check, the study examines the impact of the level of bank regulations and supervision on the efficiency of Islamic banks operating in different income-level countries. The results found that the stricter the supervisory power, the less strict capital requirement, the tighter the restrictions on non-banking activities, and the stricter the private monitoring enhance statistically significantly the level of efficiency of Islamic banks. In upgrading the regulations and supervision of the Islamic banks, the existing regulatory framework based on the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) must be complemented with the prescriptions on Islamic banking or Shariah compliance diligently, so that the Islamic banks could be regulated accurately and further improve the technical efficiency of their operations.

A-SMGCS는 지상이동 안내 및 통제시스템으로 ICAO 매뉴얼에서 정의된 단위시스템이다. 이 시스템은 야간이나 기상 조건을 포함하여 모든 기상 조건하에 목표 안전수준을 유지함과 동시에 일정 수준의 수용능력을 유지하기 위한 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 논문에서는 현재 개발되고 있는 국내형 레벨 IV급 A-SMGCS를 이루고 있는 14개의 모듈별 기능과 이에 따른 요구사항들을 알아 본다. 또한 해당 체계와 관련된 기존의 SMGCS 매뉴얼과 등화시설 매뉴얼과 같은 국내 관련기준들을 알아보고 A-SMGCS관련 기술기준을 정의 있는 ICAO 9830 매뉴얼, Eurocontrol EMMA2 문서, 그리고 FAA AC-150의 해외 사례들을 알아본다. 이러한 결과를 통해 아직 마련되지 않은 국내 A-SMGCS 기술기준 상정을 위한 자료로 사용하고자 한다.

Leisure boat and yacht should be designed to meet the domestic regulation and international standards as large merchant vessels do. Recently, each countries are encouraged to follow the regulation of International standards organization. Furthermore domestic organization has not yet announced the design rule and regulation for FRP-catamaran yacht design. Therefore, it has been required to make the regulation for domestic situations of FRP-catamaran. This study deals with the structural strength evaluation of 50ft catamaran by using finite element analysis. Design load of the regulation of International standards organization are compared with the regulation of Korea Register of shipping and Lloyd's Register.

Performance based fire engineering design should be developed through basic survey and fundamental element such as analytic program for evaluation of fire performance of building. The basic elements will be expressed to the surveys of the structures of building laws, regulation and the fundamental elements consist of technical guidances contained design fires, heat analysis, determination of structural performance.

Automotive company has been endeavoring to develop high strength steels to get higher fuel efficiency of car since the oil shortage in 1970s and to cope with the recent strict environmental regulation. Outer panels(Hood, Roof, Door and Fender) for automobile require higher dent resistance. Bake-hardenable(BH) steels are known as useful for their high deep drawability and high dent resistance. Recently BH steels are increasingly adapted for outer panel use due to their high drawability and high dent resistance. In this study effect of temper rolling on formability (textures, r value) and bake hardenability is investigated fur improving characteristic of bake-hardenable steels.
