As the majority of Korean MRO demand is outsourced overseas, AMO by major foreign authorities is required to promote the Korean MRO industry to keep Korean MRO demand on shore. This study aims to promote consulting for AMO (obtaining repair station certification) by U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for Korean maintenance companies. We analyzed AMO process, studied various industry cases, developed a model for AMO consulting, and identified core competencies for consultants. We suggested a five-step modified Milan model to apply AMO consulting process. We identified seven core competencies (ethics, communications, problem-solving, technical, relationship, resource management, organizational understanding) both social and technical for consultants. Additionally, we text analyzed more than 260 FAA AMO consultant resumes on Linkedin and interpreted frequent words (airline, audit, inspector, DER, regulation, ISO, system) to their competencies. This study contributes to promote consulting for the Korean MRO industry to be recognized by FAA and to develop the Korean MRO industry.

There is still a considerable burden of occupational diseases and injuries in the world. It is not well known which interventions can effectively reduce the exposures at work that cause this burden. The objective of this article is to summarize evidence from systematic reviews of interventions to prevent occupational diseases and injuries. We included systematic reviews of interventions to reduce the incidence of work-related cancer, dust-related diseases, occupational asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, noise induced hearing loss, back pain, and occupational injuries. We searched Medline and Embase with predefined search strategies to locate systematic reviews of these interventions. We found 23 systematic reviews of which the results are also applicable to low- and middle income countries. Effective measures to reduce exposure leading to work-related cancer, dust-related diseases, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, noise, and injuries are available. However, better implementation of these measures is needed. Regulation, enforcement of regulation, and incentives for employers are effective interventions to achieve this goal. There is evidence that feedback and rewards for workers help in reducing occupational injuries. There is no evidence in many studies that back pain can be prevented. Personal protective equipment technically has the potential to reduce exposure but this is difficult to put into effect. There is no evidence in the studies regarding the effectiveness of education and training, preventive drugs, or health examinations. There is evidence that the implementation of technical measures enforced by regulation can prevent occupational diseases and injuries. For other interventions such as education or health examinations, there is no evidence that supports their effectiveness. More systematic reviews are needed in the area of injury prevention.

Presently, the online game industry of Korea are growing up fastly. The growth of online game give rise to the new problem of regulation on Real Money Trade(RMT). This article analyzed the market failure of RMT, and showed whether or not the government regulate RMT. The results showed that the RMT has efficiency in monopoly and external economie, and inefficiency in external diseconomies and uncertainty. But, the inefficiency in external diseconomie and uncertainty is based on the regulation of RMT by the game company. So, it is necessary for government to deregulate the RMT for curing the inefficiency of RMT.

This article examines how the Chinese government blocks the inflow of undesirable information, focusing on the technical aspect of the control mechanism. Unlike Cuba and North Korea, which regulate the whole Internet, China uses both state-of-the-art technological supervision and labor-intensive physical control due to economic reasons in order to prepare for actors who can threaten the Communist party. The Chinese government will not overlook the inflow of information which can be the link between demonstrations and democratization. This is because stronger protests utilizing information technology will trigger the Chinese government's flexible control based on large scale violation and technology. In this article, we first review the concept of universal internet control involved in internet regulation in nations, and then focus on China's internet censorship and its regulatory control from the '90s to the present. Finally, we analyze how the Chinese government actively controls the internet access by utilizing the relationship dynamics between the central and local governments, depending on protest issue. This thesis will assume that it is difficult for China to become democratized due to its information interception, and search how the government manages the internet.

This paper reviews and criticizes some issues as to the case of A and Others v. Finnair Oyj [2020] Case C-832/18 by examining EU Regulations and practical point of views. Under this case, the travellers brought an action against Finnair in light of the Air Passenger Regulation12, seeking compensation for both the first cancelled flight, and the delayed re-routed flight. Finnair had paid the first compensation, but refused to grant the second claim, arguing that the regulation did not set out that passengers were eligible for a second claim in those situations, and that the delay of the second flight was a consequence of 'extraordinary circumstances' under the regulation. The Court of Appeal in Helsinki has asked the CJEU whether an air passenger is entitled to a further compensation where a re-routed flight they have agreed to take is delayed, where both the original and rerouted flight are operated by the same air carrier. The CJEU held that the regulation does not in any way limit the rights of passengers where they find their flights being re-routed. As such, under earlier CJEU case law, the relevant travellers here were entitled to compensation for cancellation of the first flight and delay of the second flight. It also disagreed with Finnair's assessment that the technical failure in the re-routing flight was a matter of extraordinary circumstances.

Recently, the installation of energy storage systems (ESSs) has increased in parallel with the extension of renewable energy resources. However, there has been no concrete analysis ofthe performance verification and economic evaluation of ESSs,which makes it difficult to perform aneffective installation and operation of an ESS. In particular, there are no international technical standards and guidelines on electric ESS for frequency regulation applications. Therefore, acomprehensive study on the power quality, impact on grid, extent of contribution, and cost benefit study of ESS are strongly being required. Under these backgrounds, this paper proposes a performance verification algorithm on ESS for frequency regulation application based on ananalysis of the AGC(Automatic Generation Control) performance verification method of PJM in USA. In addition,this paper proposes an economic evaluation algorithm on a 500 MW installation of ESS for frequency regulation applications using the account settlement of an expensive gas-fired generation plant and coal-fired power generation plant. From the simulation with real ESS operation data and 500 MW installation case, it wasconfirmed that the ESS showssuperior performance toany other conventional generators and provides anannual benefit of 500 MW ESS are between 345~429 billon won.

With the development of information and communication technologies, popularization of smart phones, and relaxation of the government regulation, mobile easy payment service is rapidly growing as a major financial service. Therefore, this study examines factors that influence the intention to use mobile easy payment service through empirical analysis. We collected 386 responses by survey and formed structural equation modeling with AMOS 22.0. The results show that technical factors(relative advantage, security), individual factor(self-efficacy), situational factors(trust in prior services and satisfaction of prior services) had a positive effect on the perceived value. In addition, perceived value had a positive effect on the intention to use mobile easy payment services. Lastly, subjective norms are closely related to the relationship between perceived value and intention to use mobile easy payment services. The results can be expected to provide useful references to the Fintech related industry fields.

To provide regulatory standards and technical guides that are likely to be required for the Fault Monitoring System (FMS), soon to be installed and operated at the Shin-Wolsong NPP #1, 2 site, technical trend analysis was performed for currently operating geodetic and/or earthquake monitoring systems and activities worldwide, resulting in the identification of several items of concern regarding the design, installation, and operation of FMS at Korean sites. The items are as follows: 1) characterization of site-specific properties (including local noise), 2) selection of measuring instruments/design of appropriate sensitivity for the tectonic behavior of the target, 3) data/electricity backup system, 4) cross-checking and/or cross-referencing system to enhance data quality and credibility, 5) transparent data operation and open-to-the-public policy, and 6) long-term operation in a stable environment.

In Article 23 of Technical regulations for Telecommunication Line and Facilities, we have criteria of separation distance between telecommunication lines and power lines, and its related exceptional conditions. However, this is a conflicts condition with Article 32 that provides the type of indoor telecommunication cables such as twisted-pair cables and optical fiber cables. Also, it is frequently raised that exceptional condition related the PoE cables with up to 15.4W is improved to accept PoE cables with up to 30W. In this paper, we have proposed improvement plans of Technical regulations for separation distance between telecommunication lines and power lines by analyzing the variety of standard specifications at home and abroad.
