The environment of the world becomes deteriorated rapidly as the result of the development of technology, the increase of the standard of living, and the growth of population. These circumstances called for environmental education in Korea, creating an environment course in the middle and high school in 1995. Despite the increasing importance of environmental education, however, the situation has not developed in its favor because of the current system of the university entrance examination. The school has failed to develop the curriculum of environmental education in the secondary education. This paper solves this problem internally in terms of the improvement of the contents, organization, teaching method (role-playing game), and teaching materials of environmental education, with a case study of the “noise” unit in 10th grade. This case study expects to change the attitude toward noise, increase the interest and knowledge in environment, and lead to responsible environmental behavior.

본 연구는 보육교사의 관심사와 유아의 창의성 증진을 위한 역할인식 및 교수효능감 간의 관계에 대해 분석해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전라북도 J지역의 보육교사 156명을 연구대상으로 질문지 조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 보육교사의 관심사와 유아의 창의성 증진을 위한 역할인식 간에 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 하위 내용별로 살펴보면 생존관심사, 강화관심사, 갱신관심사, 성숙관심사에서 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 보육교사의 관심사와 교수효능감 간에 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 하위내용별로 살펴보면 생존관심사, 강화관심사, 갱신관심사, 성숙관심사에서 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 결론적으로 보육교사 관심사는 유아의 창의성 증진을 위한 역할인식과 교수효능감을 예측하는 중요한 변인으로 보육교사들의 관심사를 이해하고 이에 대한 요구 분석을 통해 유아의 창의성 증진을 위한 역할인식 및 교수효능감을 향상시킬 수 있는 구체적인 교육환경 요건에 대해 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study is to discuss about the role of the visualization as an effective method of teaching abstracted mathematics, to analyze visual materials in middle and high school mathematics and to suggest various visualized materials for teaching mathematics effectively. Though formal, symbolic and analytical teaching method is a major characteristic of mathematics, the students should be taught to understand through intuition and insight, and formalize the mathematical concepts progressively. Especially the sight is one of the most important basics of cognition for intuition and insight. Therefore, suggesting mathematical contents through the visual method makes the students understand and formalize the mathematical concepts more easily. In this study, we tried to investigate the meaning and role of visualization in mathematics teaching. And, we discussed about the four roles of visualization in the process of mathematics teaching and learning confirmation and memorization of the mathematical truth, proving theorem and solving problems which is one of the most important purposes of teaching mathematics, According to the roles of visualization, we analyzed visual materials currently taught in middle and high school, and suggested various visual materials useful in teaching mathematics. The investigated fields are algebra where visual materials are little used, and geometry where they are use the most. The paper-made-textbook can't show moving animation vigorously. Hence we suggested visual materials made by GSP and applets in IES .

This study compared student teachers' perceptions about teaching practices and the current state of practice teaching before and after practice teaching. Subjects were 96 students at three-year colleges in Suncheon, Jollanam-do. The survey used a questionnaire, 'kindergarten teachers' recognition of practice teaching and the current state of practice teaching,'(Woo and Choi 2004), revised for this research. Differences were observed in mean scores between before and after practice teaching(t=4.30, p<.001). In sub-areas, significant differences were observed in the role of student teachers, the contents of teaching, support system, evaluation and preliminary guidance(p<.001), but not in the evaluation of practice teaching and student teachers' attitudes(p>.05). This information should be beneficial for teachers' colleges in preparation of practice teaching programs.

As the role and status of English as an international language(EIL) have been widely discussed, studies need to be done to find out new issues and concerns related to teaching EIL In Korea. This presentation will review the changes in teaching English in Korea, teaching pronunciation, in particular, focusing on its goal and major instructional approaches. Suggestions will be made on developing a learner-centered communicative model for teaching English pronunciation and on training both Korean and foreign teachers of English to teach English pronunciation.

이 연구는 사서교사의 교육실습에 영향을 미치는 변수 간의 인과관계를 분석하여 효과적인 교육실습의 전개방향을 모색하고, 사서교사의 전문성 선장방법으로써 교육실습의 효과를 규명하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 두개의 연구모형을 구성하였다. 첫 번째 모형에서는 교육실습의 영향요인으로 사전교육, 실습프로그램, 지도교사, 실습환경, 실습기관의 조직적 분위기를 선정하여 변수 간의 인과관계를 분석하였고, 두 번째 모형에서는 사서교사의 주요 전문성 신장경로인 대학교육과정, 교육실습, 현장경험 및 자기계발이 역할인식과 직무수행 역량에 어느 정도의 효과를 미치는지 분석하였다. 연구결과 사서교사의 교육실습에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 변수는 실습프로그램으로 나타났고, 전문성 선장경로 중 교육실습은 직무수행 역량에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 분석결과를 바탕으로 교육실습은 사서 교사의 전문성 신장과정으로써 실제적인 효과가 있으며, 교육실습의 효과적 전개방안으로 교육실습에 대한 인식제고, 양질의 실습프로그램 개발, 충분한 사전준비, 지도교사의 노력이 필요하다는 점을 제안하였다.

본 연구의 목적은 교수자의 교수 스타일과 교육경험이 수업분석에 미치는 영향을 확인해 보는데 있다. 이를 통해 해당 요인들이 수업을 바라보는 관점에 차이가 있는지 확인할 수 있으며, 교육현장에서 교사들이 수업비평과 수업분석을 바라보는 분석관점의 차이를 확인할 수 있다. 연구대상은 초등학교에 근무하는 교사 198명을 대상으로, 교수 스타일을 분류하였다. 자료처리는 교육경험에 해당하는 교직경력을 확인하여 공변인으로 두고, 각각 교수 스타일에 따라 수업 분위기를 분석하는 관점의 차이를 확인하였다. 연구결과 수업분위기 분석의 요인인 창의성, 활기성, 치밀성, 온화성의 4가지 항목에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 수업분위기 분석에서 교수 스타일 중 전문성은 동일한 수업에서 창의성에 높은 점수를 부여했으며, 촉진자 스타일은 활기성에 가장 높은 점수를, 역할모델은 치밀성에 가장 높은 점수를, 촉진자와 역할모델은 온화성에 가장 높은 점수를 부여했다. 반면 권위적인 스타일과 위임자 스타일은 전체적인 수업분위기에서 가장 낮은 점수를 부여하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 교수 스타일에 따라 수업을 분석하는 관점이 다르며, 전문가, 역할모델, 촉진자 스타일이 수업분석에 있어 반성적인 성찰과 허용적인 인식을 통해 분석하려는 의도가 비교적 강한 것으로 볼 수 있다.

본 연구는 교육대학교 3학년 학생들을 대상으로 이뤄진 수업실습에서 실습지도 교사가 예비교사에게 어떤 지도활동을 하는지를 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 위해 교육실습에서 예비교사가 한 차시의 수학수업을 준비해서 수업하기까지 실습지도 교사와 예비교사 사이에 이뤄지는 지도활동을 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 통해서 교육실습에서 실제로 지도교사는 어떤 역할을 하며 예비교사는 수업준비과정에서 지도교사로부터 어떤 도움과 지도를 받는지를 살펴봄으로써 이후의 교육실습의 개선방향을 살펴보고자 한다. 연구를 위해 G시에 소재한 교육대학교 3학년 두 학급 54명의 예비교사들을 대상으로 4주간 이뤄진 수업실습에서 수학수업을 하도록 한 후 수업준비과정에서 실습지도 교사의 지도활동을 일기형태로 기록하도록 하여 자료를 수집한 후 이를 분석하였다. 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, 실습지도 교사는 지도활동 중, '수업 단계, 학생수준을 고려한 수업 설계하기'와 관련된 지도활동의 비중이 가장 높았다. 그러나 이와 함께 단순히 지도안작성을 위해 형식을 통일시키는 것과 같은 지도활동의 비중이 두 번째로 높은 것도 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 좀 더 실질적인 교육실습 지도활동이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 실습지도 교사의 지도활동을 바탕으로 실습지도 교사의 역할을 방임형, 관리형, 지도형, 협력형의 네가지로 유형화할 수 있었다. 이 중 지도형의 비중이 가장 높았으며 지도활동이 거의 이뤄지지 않는 관리형과 방임형도 나타났다. 이런 결과를 통해서 보다 성공적인 교육실습을 위해서는 체계적인 계획과 관리가 필요함을 알 수 있었다.

Nurse educators are being encouraged to intergrated the role of faculty practice into the role expectations of the education institutes. Schools of nursing are faced with challenge of the faculty who wishes to adopt facilitating practical role. Also directors of nursing department in hospitals point out the lack of competences for nursing care of new graduated nurse. This survey study was conducted to clarify the factors that faculty who engages on practice in the clinical teaching are to facilitate or inhibit. In this study, 55 head nurses of university hospital and 30 professors of nursing school were assigned to complete the questionnaire. Results of this study are as follows : 1) Head nurse : The most actively participated nursing activities in student's clinical teaching are medication, injection, vital sign checking and bed making. The problems of clinical leaching are lack of direct care of Professors, overloaded work of head nurses, passive learning attitudes of nursing students and less priority about clinical teaching of academic administrator's perception. 2) Nursing professor Facilitators of faculty practices are negative perception about clinical practice of both nursing professor and academic administrator. Inhibitors of faculty practice are negligence of the clinical teaching, lack of the practicing capability and lack of administration system on practical education by head of the school. There, following strategies are suggested for facilitating faculty practice : 1. Faculty practice focused on clinical teaching must be emphasized for academic administration. 2. Nurse educators must keep continuing clinical practice in their specific area. 3. Collaboration between school of nursing and hospital promotes effectiveness of the clinical practice for nursing students.

Computer technology in mathematics teaching-learning is not for teaching computer but for improving mathematics teaching-learning with computer. It is shown the use of computer technology comparing with traditional approach provides students more opportunities in order to approach abstract structure. Computer activity provides not only understanding concepts of analysis and opportunity to investigate theory but also effective background in teaching analysis. We analyze students' computer usage level on analysis education by using computer usage level according to role of computer technology. We try to get an useful educational implication on analysis education applying MATLAB through qualitative research.
