수학화 과정에서 교사와 학생 간의 상호작용 양상과 교사의 담론 구조 (Interaction patterns between teachers-students and teacher's discourse structures in mathematization processes)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 수학화 과정에서 교사와 학생 간의 상호작용 양상에 따른 교사의 담론 구조를 분석하는 것이다. 이러한 목적 달성을 위해 학생들의 참여를 촉진하는 교수법을 20년 이상 실행한 경력 교사의 한 학기 수업 44차시 중에서 수학화 과정에서 교사와 학생 간의 서로 다른 상호작용 양상을 보이는 대표적인 경우 각각 1차시 수업을 비교분석하였다(근거 이론). 분석 결과, 학생들의 참여 양상을 고려한 교사의 담론 구조는 수학화 과정 경험에 도움을 준 것으로 볼 수 있었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 학생들과의 상호작용 양상에 따라 수학화 과정을 경험할 수 있도록 도움을 주기 위한 교사의 역할을 구체화함으로써 수학화를 위한 교실 담론 개발에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

극놀이에서 교사의 단계별 지지가 유아의 언어적 의사소통에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Teacher's Scaffolding on Children's Verbal Communication in Dramatic Play)

  • This study analyzed the effects of teacher's scaffolding on children's verbal communication in dramatic play. Twenty-four five-year-old kindergarten children participated. The collected data were analyzed with the repeated measures analysis of variance and two-sample t-tests. The results showed that: the frequency of verbal communication strategies and children's episode length increased in the experimental group where the teacher intervened with the scaffolding. Children in the experimental group showed more positive response in the categories of minimal acceptances and enlarged acceptances. No gender differences were found.

산촌 중학교 보건교사의 코로나19 집단감염 발생 대응 사례 (A Case Report of the COVID-19 Outbreak Response by a Middle School Health Teacher in a Mountain Village)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to describe a school health teacher's experience working in a mountain village during the COVID-19 outbreak in 2021. Methods: The study used a case study method based on the school records and reports to the local office of education. Results: In T City, since the first COVID-19 case confirmed on March 8, 2020, as of May 17, 21, a total of 21 cases have occurred, including two third-year students of H Middle School. Since then, one additional case was confirmed on May 18, one more on May 25, and one more on May 27, resulting in a total of five confirmed cases. During this period, 42 students and 13 teachers were self-quarantined, all students and staff were tested for COVID-19 PCR, and students received remote classes. The role of school health teacher can be described through three categories: "collaborator", "care coordinator", and "educator". The school health teacher did a lot of work until the situation came to an end, successfully fulfilling these three roles. Conclusion: Some suggestions were made to prepare a more effective communicable disease response system suitable for public health infrastructure of non-urban area.

교사유아관계와 유아의 자기조절능력 간의 관계에서 자아존중감의 매개효과 (Mediating Effect of Self-esteem on the Teacher-Young Child Relationship and Self-regulation Ability of Young Children)

  • This study examined the mediating effects of self-esteem on the teacher-young child relationship and self-regulation ability of young children. A survey was conducted on a random sample of 252 young children aged 3-5 years attending a nursery in Gwang-ju, Korea. Based on the data, Person's correlations between variables were analyzed, and hierarchical regression analyses were conducted to identify the direct and indirect effects of the teacher-young child relationship and self-esteem on the self-regulation ability of the young children. First, there were positive correlations among the teacher-young child relationship (intimacy) and self-esteem as well as self-regulation ability. There were negative correlations among the teacher-young child relationship (conflict, dependence) and self-esteem as well as self-regulation ability. Second, self-esteem partially mediated the correlation between the teacher-young child relationship and self-regulation ability. The results suggest that self-esteem may affect the self-regulation ability of young children as a mediating response to the teacher-young child relationship.

제7차 초등학교 과학과 교사용 지도서의 활용 실태 분석 (An Analysis on the Utilization of Teacher s Guides for Science in Elementary School)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine to what extent the teacher's guides for science based on the 7th national curricula were utilized and what problems there were, in an effort to propose in which way they should be prepared and arranged to be of substantial use to teachers. For that purpose, the contents of the 7th teacher's guides for science were analyzed. Surveys and interviews were carried out to find out how many teachers used each of the areas included in them and what their needs were. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS WIN 9.0. The findings of this study were as follows: Many teachers utilize the teacher's guides in science more frequently than in other subjects, and they found them much more helpful to preparing for instructions. But many of them didn't utilize the standards of evaluation on science that were suggested in the teacher’s guides, and this is why the guides seem just to give theoretical explanation about how to assess, which was neither practical nor substantial. It's required to provide more concrete and detailed examples for each of the units. They felt a higher need for alternative experiments and substitute materials, especially in biology unit because of the different conditions of each school or each local community. In short, teacher's guides should include more diverse and ample materials in response to the teacher's needs, moreover teachers should reconstruct the teaching materials and then teach more creatively.

초등학생의 안전교육 교사의 필요성 및 자격에 관한 연구 (A Study on Need of Safety Education Teachers and Their Qualification for Elementary Students)

  • This study examines need and qualification of safety education teachers with elementary school students and aims to provide data for improving safety education of elementary school As a result of study, it was found that on need of safety education teacher at elementary school, 'very needed' showed the highest response and students who answered 'the first class emergency medical technician' on qualification of safety education teacher showed the highest safety consciousness and low rate of safety accidents. Therefore, for improving safety education at elementary school, adoption of optional course at college or university to learn qualification and functions necessary for being special teacher and institutional support by the ministry of education that employment after passing elementary school teacher appointment examination are needed.

남자 고등학교 교사의 인상형성에 미치는 의복 격식차림, 색 및 맥락의 영향 -대전지역 남.녀 고등학생을 대상으로- (The Effects of Garment Formality, Colors, Contexts on Male High School Teacher's Impression Male and Female High School Students' in Taejeon area -)

  • The purposes of this study were 1) to extend the gestalt theory in an attempt to explain the effect of garment clues(formality, color) perceiver's gender, and contexts on impression formation of a male high school teacher, and 2) to found out high school students' attitude toward their teacher's school outfits. The experimental design was a quasi-experimental with full factorial design of 4 independent variables : 3(formality levels)x2(garment colors)x2(perceiver's gender)x2(con- texts) The experimental materials developed for the study were a set of stimuli and response scale. The stimuli consisted of 12 color photographs produced by CAD system and response scale constituted of 28 bipolar adjectives representing personal traits. In addition to the qualitative research was also performed. The subjects composed of 277 male and 291 female high school students' in Taejeon city and research was a between subject design. The data was analysed by factor analysis, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test. The major findings drawn from this study were as follows: 1. The perceivers impression were consisted of 4 major dimensions; evaluation, sociability, attractiveness, potency. 2. All the independent variables showed some significant impression effects on selected dimensions. Garment color indicate the most significant effects among the 4 independent variables and garment formality showed least effects. 3. The subjects of the study preferred suits(highest formality level garment) to semi-formal or casual outfits for male teacher's school outfits. In conclusion, 4 independent variables affected differently 4 major impression dimensions and garment formality and contexts showed significant interaction effect, this results supported the gestalt theory of impression formation.

중등예비수학교사의 활동 일지에서 살펴본 노티싱의 특징 (Characteristics of Pre-service Secondary Mathematics Teachers' Noticing in Their Journals)

  • 본 연구는 중등예비수학교사의 학생의 학습에 대한 노티싱을 살펴보기 위해 시작되었다. 이를 위해 4명의 중등예비수학교사가 중학교 수학수업에서 학습보조교사 활동을 하고 작성한 일지를 조사하였다. 일지에 나타난 학생에 대한 노티싱은 선행연구의 분석틀을 기초로 하여 알아차리기, 해석하기, 반응하기의 세 가지로 구분하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 중등예비수학교사들은 대체로 학생에 대한 일반적인 알아차리기가 많고 수학적 사고에 대한 해석하기가 상대적으로 적게 나타났다. 반응하기에서는 질문을 통한 학생의 사고 촉진보다는 학생들에게 설명하기가 많이 나타남을 확인하였다. 이를 토대로 중등예비수학교사 교육프로그램에 주는 시사점을 논의하고자 한다.

중학교 3학년 요오드화납 생성반응 실험의 수업 방식 차이와 학생들의 이해에 관한 연구 (A research of the Difference in Teaching Styles and Understanding of 9th Grade Students About Lead-iodide Precipitation Reaction Experiment)

  • 연구에서는 일정성분비의 법칙을 확인하기 위하여 도입한 요오드화납 생성반응 실험을 과학 교사들이 어떻게 다른 방식으로 가르치고 있는지 알아보았다. 또한 교사의 수업 전개 방식에 따라 중학교 3학년 학생들의 이해 수준에 차이가 생기는지 알아보았다. 3명의 교사들이 진행하는 수업을 관찰한 결과, A 교사는 과학 교과서대로 수업을 진행하면서 실험을 통해 학생들이 스스로 사고하고 결론을 내리도록 하는 방식의 수업을 진행하였다. B와 C 교사는 교과서의 실험 내용을 해석하는데 필요한 설명을 학생들에게 많이 제시하였다. A 교사반의 학생들은 실험 보고서에서 B나 C 교사반의 학생들보다 무응답 비율이 높았다. 그러나 B나 C 교사반의 학생들은 교사의 설명으로 인해 사고가 제한되어 버리는 경향도 보였다. 이러한 차이에도 불구하고 실험을 통해 개념을 제대로 이해한 학생들이 매우 적다는 공통점을 나타냈다. 또한 많은 학생들이 앙금 생성반응에 큰 호기심을 느끼지만, 이를 통해 일정성분비의 법칙을 이해하는데는 어려움을 겪는 것으로 나타났다.

Students' Online Fashion Studio Class Experience and Factors Affecting Their Class Satisfaction

  • This study explored students' online fashion studio class experiences, and investigated the factors affecting their class satisfaction. An online survey of college students who were enrolled in online studio classes within apparel and fashion-related departments during the spring of 2020 was conducted in June 2020. Responses from a total of 213 participants were included in the final data. Respondents rated lecture clips as the most useful, followed by teacher demonstration and feedback, PowerPoint (PPT) supplements, and Q&As. Frequently mentioned areas of improvement were online platform stability and video quality. Many respondents also stated that more streamlined teacher-student communication channels, immediate and meticulous teacher feedback, the adoption of course contents developed specifically for an online environment, and provisions for equipment usage would be desirable. Student satisfaction of an online fashion design studio class was significantly affected by teaching presence, social presence, online learning system stability, perceived usefulness of teacher's demonstration, and affective response toward COVID-19. Students satisfaction of an online garment construction studio class was significantly affected by teaching and social presence, online learning system stability, and perceived usefulness of teacher's demonstration. Based on these findings, we recommend developing teaching contents and methods that allow students to feel included in class and establish an online system with various functions to enhance the sense of social connection that can enable two-way communication.
