The present study reports on a study of the development of customized intensive in-service English teachers training programs (IIETTP) reflecting on the demands of elementary/secondary school English teachers. For the purpose of study, a survey was conducted with 1,033 English teachers at elementary/secondary schools across the country. The results showed by and large no significant differences by school level, albeit some slight differences were revealed such as in training times, training methods, the percentages of teaching English in English (TEE), and other things. Since the two IIETTP models are presented as basic formats, they can be modified and applied according to the contexts of schools and the demands of trainees.

과학 모델링을 활용한 현직 교사 대상의 소집단 연수 프로그램을 개발하고, 참여한 교사들의 활동 중 담화를 유형별로 분석하였다. 연수 프로그램은 소집단이 '은하와 우주' 내용을 소재로 협동하여 산출물을 제작하는 과제 해결 방식을 따르고 있으며, 추후 교실 수업에 실제 적용이 가능하도록 구상하였다. 3명의 현직 과학 교사를 참여자로 선정하여 이들의 담화를 녹음, 전사하였고, 개별 진술과 상호작용 단위로 유형 분류를 수행하였다. 교사들의 언어 표현에는 교직 사회의 고유한 특성이 반영되었으며, 저마다의 선호하는 언어 표현 유형이 존재하는 반면 특정 언어 표현 유형의 비중은 공통적으로 낮게 나타났다. 모델링 소재와 과제 제시 방식, 사용된 모델의 유형에 따른 담화 특성 차이가 존재하는지 살펴보았을 때, 설계, 제작, 평가 단계에 해당하는 상호작용의 비율 차이는 주로 모델링 소재의 친숙도에 영향을 받는 것으로 파악되었다. 과제 제시(해결) 방식 또한 상호작용 유형에 영향을 주는 반면, 모델의 유형은 상호작용의 유형별 분포에 별 영향이 없었다. 이를 고려하면, 현직 교사를 대상으로 한 모델링 연수를 실시할 때는 충분한 상호작용이 이루어질 수 있도록 체크리스트를 제공하고, 공동 작업을 통해 답변할 수 있는 적절한 문제를 제시할 필요가 있다.

The ICELT(In-Service Certificate in English Language Teaching) is a highly practical course-based English teacher education program which integrates classroom teaching and off-site teacher training. This case study analyzes the three-year implementation of the ICELT program in Korea and discusses its effects and the implications for improving the inservice English teacher education system. It has been found that the course participants were satisfied with the quality of its execution, thinking that it contributed to their professional development in the areas of teaching practice, methodology and language competence. The study has identified several success factors as shared program goals among the course participants, including systematic selection of course participants, well-qualified tutors and the proper provision of resources including syllabus, teaching materials and course assessment system. Nonetheless, it has been suggested that attention needs to be paid to generalized application of the ICELT for English teacher education due to the limitations such as the heavy workload caused by the program, lack of course participants' collaboration with other teachers at their schools and tutors' poor understanding of the Korean education context. Bearing this in mind, the implications for improving the inservice English teacher education system in Korea have been discussed. Finally, further studies have been suggested, which are concerned with in-depth investigation in exploring the division of roles between native English speaking tutors and Korean ones and the impact of the program on the sustainability of course participants' professional development and the impact on schools.

This study identified and examined earth science education department programs in Korea. Major courses provided by 11 universities and their course requirements were analyzed, and the main research results are as follows. First, many basic courses, other major requisite, and elective courses are provided in geology, astronomy, and atmospheric science. oceanography, geophysics, earth environmental science, and natural disaster and energy resources had fewer major requisite courses provided in addition to basic courses, and few elective courses were offered. Second, many courses in science education focused on earth science, while others focused on general science and there were few courses that covered education theory regarding the specific subject. Third, science course application requirements emphasized the understanding of science in general or of earth science specifically. From the above results, additional studies are proposed to reflect on the current state and supplement these programs.

With the start of the residentship of Korean preventive medicine in 2008, the residency training programs should be established and also operation plan for the residentship of Korean preventive medicine should be setup. This residency training program need to contain the future oriented study objective to be an expert of the preventive medicine and could be updated the changes in health service needs of the population. Specially in the part of Health Promotion(YangSaeng) in Korean Medicine, strengthening in medical practice, not just in knowledge is urgently required. And we should have more concentrations on preventive service for the individual, as in clinical preventive medicine. Training residents by the systematic and well scheduled programs, not just teacher..and assistant..in the academic facilities. These approach may not only contribute for the better future of the preventive medicine, but also improve in disease prevention and health promotion.

천문학 학습 과정에서 공간적 사고의 중요성을 고려할 때, 교원 양성 단계에서부터 공간적 사고를 고려한 교수⋅학습 방법에 대한 교육이 이뤄질 필요가 있다. 그에 따라 본 연구는 초등 예비교사들에게 공간적 사고에 대한 교육을 실시한 후 이들이 천문 단원 교과서의 삽화 및 탐구활동에 대해 인식하는 문제점과 개선안의 양상을 탐구하였다. 본 연구에서는 천문 영역의 공간적 사고를 공간 개념, 표상, 추론 과정으로 구성된 것으로 정의하였다. 수도권 소재 A 교육대학에 재학 중인 3학년 학생을 대상으로 2021년 10월, 2주에 걸쳐 공간적 사고에 대한 교육이 실시되었으며 예비교사들은 천문 단원 중 1개 차시를 자율적으로 선택하여 공간적 사고 측면에서 현행 교과서의 문제점을 분석하고 그에 대한 개선안을 제시하였다. 최종적으로 22명이 제시한 33개의 사례가 분석되었으며, 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 예비교사들은 공간 개념과 추론 과정 측면에서 교과서 삽화 및 탐구활동의 한계를 인식하고 그것을 보완하기 위한 개선안을 제안하는 모습을 나타냈다. 그러나 일부 예비교사는 문제점을 타당하게 인식하더라도 적절한 개선안을 제안하지 못하거나, 공간적 사고 측면에서 삽화나 탐구활동을 분석하지 못하는 경향도 나타냈다. 본 연구는 공간적 사고에 대한 일련의 교육을 통해 예비교사가 천문 교수 실행시 공간적 사고 측면에서 교과서 삽화나 탐구활동을 인식하고, 그 한계를 보완할 능력을 갖출 수 있음을 보였다는 점에 의의가 있다. 아울러 본 연구 결과가 공간적 사고와 관련된 교사 양성 프로그램에 시사하는 바에 대해서도 논의하였다.

This study investigated the effects on young children's vocabulary and reading ability of the comprehensive language-teaching program using web-based picture books. The comprehensive language program was put into operation for 9 weeks with a classroom teacher who had in-service training for this program. The language course for the 23 children in the control group consisted only of ordinary language activities using teacher-made picture cards. Test results analyzed by t-test showed that the 25 children in the experimental group gained more than the control group on reading attitude including the concept of reading, accuracy, verbal expression, participation, contents and originality. Also, the ability to read a fairy tale aloud increased in the experimental group.

본 연구는 유치원 현장의 직무체험을 통해 나타나는 예비유아교사의 직업에 대한 기대 및 성취에 관한 의미를 탐색하는 것이 목적이다. 연구대상은 경기도 P시에 위치한 3년제 대학에 재학 중인 유아교육과 1학년 15명이다. 4주 동안 실시된 직무체험프로그램을 마친 후에 예비유아교사에게 나타난 성취에 대한 의미를 질문지와 면담을 통해 알아보았다. 연구결과, 첫째, 예비유아교사들의 직무체험프로그램에 대한 기대는 수업준비, 수업실행, 일상생활지도 시 교사 역할의 실제를 알고 배우고자 하는 것이었다. 둘째, 실제로 직무체험프로그램에서 경험한 것으로는 수업준비와 실행, 일상생활지도 외에도 유아의 발달적 특징, 개인차, 놀이방식의 차이 등을 보고 유아관련 지식을 체험했으며, 학급운영과 부모상담 및 돌봄에 이르기까지 유아교사직의 업무가 생각보다 많은 일들을 감당해야 함을 알게 되었다고 밝혔다. 마지막으로 직무체험프로그램을 마친 후 성취한 것에 대해서 예비유아교사들은 유아교사직의 실제를 체험함으로써 유아와의 행복한 시간만이 있는 것이 아니라 유아교사의 업무가 과중함을 알게 되었기에 스스로 보람을 느끼고 성공적으로 해내기 위해서는 체력과 정신력을 기르고 밝고 긍정적이면서도 솔선수범이 되는 교사의 태도를 갖추는 것이 중요하고 학업 뿐 아니라 다양한 경험을 쌓는 것이 중요함을 깨달았다. 이러한 결과는 예비유아교사들의 유아교사직에 대한 확신을 갖고 교사직과 관련된 다양한 직무를 직접 경험할 수 있는 현장에서 직무체험제공의 중요성을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study was to find out about the awareness and demands of pre-service and in-service elementary school teachers on STEAM education. For the purpose of this study, researcher administered survey questionnaires were conducted for 160 pre-service teachers and 191 in-service teachers who were sampled by convenience sampling method. The results were as follows. On the awareness and demand for knowledge and necessity on STEAM, first, on the understanding related knowledge, most respondents have heard of STEAM education(97.7%), and well aware of STEAM(91.4%) through the teacher training course(80.3%). Second, on the necessity, 60.4% respondents were located in "very necessary" and "necessary" entry. On the awareness and demand for applying STEAM, first, on the reasons of applying STEAM was to help the cognitive and affective development. Also 67.3% respondents would like to apply STEAM on their science class. The reason was necessity on STEAM, and the most suitable subject for blending with science of applying to STEAM was technology, on the other hand the most difficult subject was art. Second, on the effect of STEAM, most respondents had positive awareness on the all categories. Third, on the purpose of science education, also had positive awareness on the all categories of the purpose of science education. On the awareness and demand for blending ways of STEAM and improvements, first, on the blending ways of STEAM, topic centered blending related to real life had a majority. Second, on the improvements, to improve the STEAM education, many respondents pointed out the development of teaching and learning STEAM program and dissemination of related resources.

이 연구의 목적은 교사들의 스마트교육 수업능력 향상을 위하여, 스마트교육 교사연수 프로그램을 개발하는데 있으며, 이를 위하여 분석-설계-개발-실행-평가 의 다섯 단계로 구성된 스마트교육 교사연수 프로그램 개발 절차를 설정하였다. 프로그램의 구체적인 내용구성을 위하여 환경분석, 학습자분석, 과제분석을 실시하였고, 그 결과를 반영하여 스마트교육 이론과 실제, 스마트교육 플랫폼 활용, 스마트 교수 학습 솔루션, 스마트교육 학교교실 운영사례, 스마트교육실습과 스마트 디바이스 중독의 5개 주제와 12개의 학습과제를 설계하였다. 요구분석 및 설계 결과를 바탕으로 스마트교육 교사연수 프로그램의 교재와 수업매체를 개발하였으며, 개발된 프로그램은 교원연수기관으로 지정된 스마트교육 연구센터를 통하여 D시의 초등 및 중등교사 72명에게 적용하여 연수를 실시하였다. 연수결과에서 나타난 참여교사들의 평가와 전문가 협의를 통하여 스마트 교육 교사연수 프로그램을 완성하였다. 또한 프로그램 개발과정을 통해 나타난 스마트교육 교사연수 프로그램의 논의를 바탕으로 향후 스마트교육 교사연수 프로그램 개발을 위한 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다.
