  • The exports of plywood are increasing annually and it has ranked first in the world market because of the high quality product and manufactured using mordern techniques. However, it is known that the exports of the other wood products, except plywood, is inactive because of their low quality. Accordingly, to increase the exports of various wood products investigations were carried out on kiln drying techniques to improve the quality of the wood. Wet wood should be kiln dried before use to prevent various drying defects such as distortion, shrinkage etc., which would develop after processing,:and also wet wood is not suitable for cutting, gluing and finishing. Therefore, the kiln drying properties of lumber from such species as oak, ramin and meranti which are used in large quantity for manufacturing exporting wood products have been studied. The results of the research are summarized as follows. (1) The end checks and the time for drying from initial moisture content of about 40 percent to 5 percent moisture content in ovendry were investigated as follows: (2) The kiln dried results, for 30mm stock, which are presented by using kiln schedule table 3 are as follows: (3) The kiln schedules for ramin, meranti and oak are given respectively as follows: Ramin kiln schedule: Table 17 and Table 18.   • This paper, describes about creation and implementation of phonetic value- transcription conversion table for postprocessing of the voice recognition. Transcription set generator, which produces transcription set that is pronounced as recognized phonetic value, is designed and implemented to postprocess for the voice recognition system which recognizes syllable unit phonetic value Phonetic value-transcription conversion table is produced with transcription-phonetic value conversion table produced by modeling standard pronunciation on petrinet. To show that phonetic value-transcription conversion table produces correct transcription set, transcription set generator is designed and implemented. This paper proves that correct transcription set is produced, which is including pre-vocalization transcription as a result of experimenting standard pronunciation examples and the words randomly sampled from pronunciation dictionary.

  • We introduce the application what using the MultiTouch-Table of the PC-mechanic Certification. Thesedays, People does't use the Mouse and Keyboard and use people gesture. We introduce Graphic and Image by addition. Theseday, MultiTouch-Table is so famous. We use it the multitouch-table to on 3D Maxs and C#. We help them to get the certification using the component Scale and Drags through the camera view and then include the PC-Mechanic question of domestic.

Hydrogeological Characteristics and Groundwater Table Fluctuation of Dongrae Hot Spring (동래온천의 수리지질학적 특성과 수위변화)

  • Dongrae is one of the most famous hot spring resort area in the Republic of Korea. The water temperature ranges $50^{\circ}C{\sim}66$. The chemical composition of the thermal water is quite different from normal groundwater. $Na^+$ and $Cl^-$ are the main components, measured more than 75%, $Ca^{+{+}}$ is contained about 22% and the other ions such as $SO_4$ or $HCO_3$ are the minor components. The heat source is uprising along the fracture zone of granite which is indicated as a subsurface high temperature belt. During the research period of 1991~1992, the groundwater table was lowered down to the depth of about 100 m according to continuous increase of daily use of thermal water. The groundwater table was fluctuated with an amplitude of day, weak or seasion. The groundwater table was the lowest at 18:00 h in a day and also lowest at the weekend for the week period. There was a relavent relationship between drawdown and the amount of thermal water use on a long term base. To protect such a rapid drawdown of groundwater table, Dongrae resort area is now asked to take strong municipal control for the daily use of thermal water.

Classification of Restaurant Table Settings with Gestalt's Law of Visual Perception (외식 상차림의 게슈탈트 시지각 법칙에 따른 분류)

  • This study analyzed restaurant table settings with Gestalt's law of visual perception to obtain basic data for future marketing strategies. The research uses methods that involve applying images of restaurant table settings to Gestalt's law of visual perception, doing content analysis, and conducting a frequency analysis as well as a Chi-square test for classification analysis by visual perception. Results show a significant difference in the laws of visual perception, especially in the laws of nearness and closure, between table settings of different countries and backgrounds, such as Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Western cultures. In terms of the law of nearness, Chinese dishes were low, while other countries' dishes and Korean dishes showed high figures. In terms of the law of closure, Japanese dishes and western dishes had low values, while other countries' dishes and Korean dishes were high in their closure. Further studies on consumer awareness by visual perception classification need to be conducted.

Shake table test of Y-shaped eccentrically braced frames fabricated with high-strength steel

  • To investigate the seismic performance of Y-shaped eccentrically braced frames fabricated with high-strength steel (Y-HSS-EBFs), a shake table test of a 1:2 scaled three-story Y-HSS-EBF specimen was performed. The input wave for the shake table test was generated by the ground motions of El Centro, Taft, and Lanzhou waves. The dynamic properties, acceleration, displacement, and strain responses were obtained from the test specimen and compared with previous test results. In addition, a finite element model of the test specimen was established using the SAP2000 software. Results from the numerical analysis were compared with the test specimen results. During the shake table test, the specimen exhibited sufficient overall structural stiffness and safety but suffered some localized damage. The lateral stiffness of the structure degenerated during the high seismic intensity earthquake. The maximum elastic and elastoplastic interstory drift of the test specimen for different peak ground accelerations were 1/872 and 1/71, respectively. During the high seismic intensity earthquake, the links of the test specimen entered the plastic stage to dissipate the earthquake energy, while other structural members remained in the elastic stage. The Y-HSS-EBF is a safe, dual system with reliable seismic performance. The numerical analysis results were in useful agreement with the test results. This finding indicated that the finite element model in SAP2000 provided a very accurate prediction of the Y-HSS-EBF structure's behavior during the seismic loadings.

  • This study attempts to present investment priorities and select industry for regional economic reinvigorating by analysing regional inter-industry of Chungchong area(including Chungnam and Chungbuk region) After the regional inter-industry table of Chungchong area has been made using a location quotient(LQ) method based on national inter-industry table of 2006 derived from national inter-industry table of 2003 using RAS method, various kind of impacts to Chungchong area are analysed. Manufacturing has the highest result in the result of production-inducing effect and value-added-inducing effect and hotels and restaurants has the highest result in employ-inducing effect. Sensitivity coefficient is highly analysed in mining and quarrying and influential coefficient is highly analysed in manufacturing.

  • The purpose of this research was to construct an efficient management system in developing and supplying a 'management standard diagnostic table' for the improvement of chestnut cultivation farmhouse. 'Chestnut management standard diagnostic table' were based from the actual condition of chestnut management in Chungcheongnam-do, selected 'appraisal factor item and by consulting 'agricultural plant standard diagnostic table' and various kinds of data which had already been developed. This research also consulted the classification systems and degree of importance. The developed 'Chestnut management diagnostic table' consisted of 3 first classified items, 19 second classified items and 2 product indicator items.

  • When making crown and bridges on anterior regions, many practitioners consider the esthetics the most. For this reason functional aspect are not considered as much as the esthetics. If the occlusion on the anterior region are not formed correctly, movement of the temporomandibular joint can be disturbed and excessive stress can be occur that pathologic condition can be under lied. On this case presentation will show the importance of the anterior guidance and suggest the appropriate protocol of using customized anterior guide table. A 45years old male had to remake both of the upper central and lateral PFM because of the porcelain fracture. The new PFM crowns were made conventional methods without considering the anterior guidance. After the temporary setting, the patient complained of discomfort and short looking upper anteriors. To solve these problems we had to restore the palatal contour and length of the new crowns by making customized anterior guide table using temporary crowns that contains patient's old anterior guidance. This procedure which is copying the pt's comfortable anterior guidance to the final prosthesis made them to be esthetic and patients to feel comfortable.

Influence of Parameter Setting in an Oil Cooler on the Temperature Characteristics of an Ultra-precision Hydrostatic Table (초정밀 유정압 테이블에서 냉각장치의 변수 설정이 온도특성에 미치는 영향)

  • Temperature characteristics of supply oil in an ultra-precision hydrostatic table are largely influenced by parameter setting in an oil cooler such as the location of reference sensor and cooling temperature. In this paper, influences of the parameter setting on the temperature variation in the hydrostatic table are experimentally analyzed to suggest the guidelines for practical application. In case of using temperature of inlet oil as a reference sensor in the oil cooler, temperature rise of the supply oil is smaller and thermal settling time is faster than that of using temperature of outlet oil as a reference sensor. The experimental results also show that temperatures of table, rail and return oil can be made almost same, and thermal settling time can be decreased by setting cooling temperature in the oil cooler to be lower than atmospheric temperature.
