Shaking Table Testing Method Considering the Dynamic Soil-Structure Interaction (건물과 지반의 동적상호작용을 고려한 진동대 실험법에 관한 연구)

  • This paper proposes the shaking table testing method for replicating the dynamic behavior of soil-structure interaction (SSI) system, without any physical soil model and only using superstructure model. Applying original SSI system to the substructure method produces two substructures; superstructure and soil model corresponding to experimental and numerical substructures, respectively. Interaction force acting on interface between the two substructures is observed from measuring the accelerations of superstructure, and the interface acceleration or velocity, which is the needed motion for replicating the dynamic behavior of original SSI system, is calculated from the numerical substructure reflecting the dynamic soil stiffness of soil model. Superstructure is excited by the shaking table with the motion of interface acceleration or velocity. Analyzing experimental results in time and frequency domains show the applicability the proposed methodologies to the shaking table test considering dynamic soil-structure interaction.

  • In this paper, we propose an expert system for electronic interlocking which enhances the safty, efficiency and expanability of the existing system by designing real-time interlocking control based on the interlocking table automatically generated using artificial intelligence approach. The expert system consists of two parts; an interlocking table generation part and a real-time interlocking control part. The former generates automatically the interlocking relationship of all possible routes by searching dynamically the station topology which is obtained from station database. On the other hand, the latter controls the status of station facilities in real-time by applying the generated interlocking relationship to the signal facilities such as signal devices, points, track circuits for a given route. The expert system is implemented in C language which is suitable to implement the interlocking table generation part using the dynamic memory allocation technique. Finally, the effectiveness of the expert system is proved by simulating for the typical station model.

  • 색역폭 사상은 디스플레이 장치간의 색재현성 차이를 보정하는 하나의 방법이다. 일반적으로 실시간 색역폭 사상은 3차원 Look-Up Table과 3차원 보간기로 구성되고 3차원 보간기의 성능은 3차원 Look-Up Table에 의해 결정된다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 색역 사상에 사용되는 3차원 Look-Up Table을 Least Square Method(최소자승법)를 이용하여 최적화하고자 한다. 시뮬레이션 결과 제안된 방법에 의해 생성된 Look-Up Table이 기존의 방법에 비해 우선된 색 재현 성능을 갖는다.

Dry Separation of PVC Film from Plastic Film Mixture by Using Air Table

  • This study was conducted in order to remove Poly vinyl chloride(PVC) from the waste plastic film mixture. The fittings of Air Table was modified to increase the separation efficiency of PVC and PE(poly ethylene). PE and PVC was successfully separated from PVC-PE film mixture with the yield of PE 90% or more and with his grade of 99% or more, using the improved Air Table. The details of the separation condition and results will be discussed in this paper. Dry separation, Waste plastic film, PVC, Air Table.   • 게임 문화는 오프라인에서 온라인으로 중심축이 급격하게 바뀌었다. 급격한 변화는 온라인 게임의 발전 불렀지만 게임 문화의 획일화를 불러 오프라인 게임 문화를 잠식하였다. 그러나 보드게임 활발한 보급은 사람들에게 과거의 추억과 사람사이의 유대감을 다시금 불러일으켰다. 그러나 지식의 부족으로 한정된 보드게임만 즐기게 되고 또한 구매하여 즐기기에는 경제적 부담이 컸기 때문에 인기가 많이 하락하고 있다. 본 논문은 이 문제를 해결하고 오프라인 게임의 장점을 살리기 위해 우리가 개발한 AR-Table System을 제안했다. 이 시스템은 오프라인 게임과 온라인 게임의 장점을 융합하고 단점을 보완하고 증강현실을 사용하여 새로운 게임 개발 환경을 제공한다. 이 시스템은 Main Table System과 Personal Display Device로 구성되어 있고, 물리적 마커를 응용한 디지털 마커를 개발하였다. 이 시스템을 설명하기 위해 보드게임 Geister를 AR Geister로 개발하였다.

  • Recently, an irregular-shaped super tall building has been increased, aiming toward landmarks of cityscape. However, the complex floor plan derived from an irregular shape requires considerable resources including time, cost, and effort to meet complex structural framework. Based on the motivation, the study proposes a table-form system that is variable slab form appropriate to an irregular shaped floor through improving limitations of an existing table-form system. The variable table-form is expected to reduce construction resources and improve constructability on an irregular floor plan of super tall buildings as well.

Active Control of Air-Spring Vibration Isolator (공기스프링 방진대의 능동제어)

  • Air-spring is widely used in vibration isolation to reduce the table vibration. When a disturbance is applied to a table, however, it starts virbrating with a low frequency, but has a large displacement due to the reacting force of air-spring. In this study, to solve the table vibration problem, an active vibration control device based on state feedback control using air-spring and proportional control valves was designed. This device can suppress the displacement of the isolation table within allowable range, even any kind of disturbances are applied to the table. Firstly, theoretical analysis of an air-spring isolator was done. Secondly, characteristics of the isolator was investigated via computer simulation and experiment. Finally, active control of air-spring isolator was tested using optimal(LQG) and fuzzy control algorithms was performed to show the effectiveness of the control schems.

  • In this paper, we develop a six-axes machining center tool(MCT) and CAD/CAM system. The MCT consists of two mechanical parts, i.e., a X-Y-Z Cartesian coordinate typed MCT and a parallel-typed tilting table. Kinematics and singularity are accomplished to design the parallel-typed tilting table, and CAD/CAM system is developed for the six-axes MCT, which requires the commands of position as well as orientation for machining of complex shape. The CAD/CAM system has a tool path generator, a NC code generator and a graphic simulator. This paper designs the parallel-typed tilting table to meet the desired specification and presents the results of tool path, NC code and graphic simulation.

  • The vertical roller mill is the important machine grinding and mixing various crude materials in the manufacturing process of portland cement. Table liner is one of grinding elements of vertical roller mill and is subjected to the cyclic bending stress by rollers load and the centrifugal force by rotation of table. It demands $4{\times}10^7$ cycle but has $4{\times}10^6{\sim}8{\times}10^6$ cycle. It fractures at the edge of grinding path of outside roller. The repair expense for it amounts to 30% of total maintenance of vertical roller mill. Therefore, this study shows the fracture mechanism of table liner for vertical roller mill using HDM and fatigue analysis
