  • 최근 스마트 홈 가전 및 사물인터넷(IoT) 기기들의 사용량이 증가되고 있으나 모바일 서비스들을 통해 이를 이용하는 과정에서의 해킹, 신분도용, 정보유출, 개인 프라이버시의 심각한 침해 및 비정상 접속, 사용자의 오조작이 증가되고 있으며, 그 사실 여부를 확인하거나 입증할 방법이 매우 미흡한 상황이다. 특히, 스마트 홈에서 사용하는 IoT기기에서는 사양과 환경 등 많은 제약이 따르기 때문에 컴퓨터에서의 인터넷 보안 수준을 똑같이 제공하기 어렵다. 이러한 스마트 홈 IoT기기에서도 해킹 및 사용자 권한 탈취, 이상 조작으로 인한 사고예방, 기기조작에 대한 감사기록을 강화할 수 있도록 모바일 단말과 IoT기기 간에 보안인증의 관리기능을 가지는 클라우드 보안인증 플랫폼의 구축방안을 제시하고자 한다.

NAAL: 뉴로모픽 아키텍처 추상화 기반 이기종 IoT 기기 제어용 소프트웨어 (NAAL: Software for controlling heterogeneous IoT devices based on neuromorphic architecture abstraction)

  • 뉴로모픽 컴퓨팅은 일반적으로 CPU와 GPU를 이용하여 신경망 연산을 하는 것보다 전력, 면적, 속도 측면에서 매우 뛰어난 성능을 보여준다. 이러한 특성은 에너지 사용량이 중요시되는 자원 제약적인 IoT 환경에 매우 적합하다. 하지만 뉴로모픽 컴퓨팅을 지원하는 이기종 IoT 기기에 따라 환경설정 및 응용 프로그램 동작을 위한 소스코드의 수정이 필요하다는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 본 논문에서는 NAAL을 제안하고 구현하였다. NAAL은 공통의 API를 기반으로 다양한 이기종 IoT 기기 환경에서 IoT 기기의 제어와 뉴로모픽 아키텍처의 추상화 및 추론 모델 동작에 필요한 기능을 제공한다. NAAL은 향후 새로운 이기종 IoT 기기 및 뉴로모픽 아키텍처와 컴퓨팅 장치의 추가적인 지원이 가능하다는 장점을 가진다.

고장용량 감소를 위한 송전선 개방 운용에 신경회로망 적용 연구 (Neural Network Application to the T/L Operation for Suppression of Short Circuit Capacity)

  • Switching of the transmission lines(T/L) is one of the methods for wuppressing the short circuit capacity. This paper presents the T/L switching operation by using the Hopfield neural network(HNN). The switching of T/L can make the line powers and the bus voltages deteriorated, as well as the fault current decreased. Such an insecure state should be avoided when the T/L is operated to be open. In this studies, the inequality constraints are formulated into the objective function to be incorporated with the HNN. Test results show that the convergence characteristics of HNN lead to the adequate solution of T/L switching.

Improved Control Strategy for T-type Isolated DC/DC Converters

  • T-type isolated DC/DC converters have recently attracted attention due to their numerous advantages, including few components, low cost, and symmetrical operation of transformers. This study proposes an improved control strategy for increasing the efficiency of T-type isolated DC/DC converters. Under the proposed strategy, the primary circulating current flows through the auxiliary switches (metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors) instead of their body diodes in free-wheeling periods. Such feature can reduce conduction losses, thereby improving the efficiency of T-type isolated DC/DC converters. The operation principles and performances of T-type isolated DC/DC converters under the proposed control strategy are analyzed in detail and verified through the simulation and experimental results.

Design and implementation of IoT based controllers and communication module interfaces for stand-alone solar system

  • This paper is part of research and development for stand-alone solar system without commercial power supply. It implements firmware of controller for operation of stand-alone solar system by applying IoT technology and also develops communication modules that allow multiple solar lamps to send and receive data through wireless network. The controller of the developed stand-alone solar system can effectively charge the power generated by the solar module, taking into account the battery's charge and discharge characteristics. It also has the advantage of attaching wireless communication modules to solar lamp posts to establish wireless communication networks without incurring communication costs. In addition, by establishing IoT gateway middleware platform for each installation site, it forms a foundation to operate multiple solar lamp posts into multiple clusters. And, it is expected that the data collected in each cluster will be used to enable configuration and control of operational information, thereby inducing convenience and efficiency of remote operation and management.

전방 접근법으로 제거한 제2흉추 척삭종 - 증 례 보 고 - (Surgical Treatment of a Chordoma Arising from the Second Thoracic Vertebral Body through the Modified Anterior Approach - Case Report -)

  • Chordomas are rare central nervous system tumors that are found predominantly in the sacrococcygeal(50%) and basiosphenoidal region(35%). Most of the remainder are related to the vertebral bodies and only 1 to 2% of them are known to occur in the thoracic vertebrae. A 15-year-old girl was admitted because of paraparesis. Three months prior to admission, she underwent a lumbar laminectomy at other hospital for the treatment of herniated lumbar disc but paraparesis became rather aggravated after the operation. At admission, MRI showed a low signal T1WI, high signal T2WI mass compressing the cord at T2 vertebral body. The tumor was subtotally removed via costotransversectomy but as the tumor was proven to be a chordoma, a second stage operation via anterior route was followed. At second operation, T2 corpectomy and T1-T3 plate fixation with autogeneous ileac bone graft was performed. Shortly after the operation, preoperative paraparesis disappeared completely and no evidence of tumor recurrence was noticed both clinically and radiologically for next 2 years. Spine surgery at cervicothoracic junction may be technically demanding due to anatomical complexity and hindering large vessels. The authers reviewed this case with special emphasis on the surgical procedure in this region.

자율화 MUM-T 국방산업 전략 (Strategies for Autonomous MUM-T Defense Industry)

  • 최근 국내·외 적으로 AI 기반의 MUM-T 복합전투체계 고도화와 이를 통한 산업의 활성화가 글로벌 이슈로 급부상하고 있다. 그러나 우리의 국방부 방위사업법은 무기체계 자체기기 중심으로 MUM-T 실증이 이루어져 무기체계의 운용 부분에 대한 고도화에 NATO 선도국 대비 다소 미흡한 것으로 판단된다. 우리의 미래 글로벌 UGV, UAV, UMS 등 MUM-T 복합전투체계의 국제경쟁력 강화를 위해서는 자율화 MUM-T 개념 정립, 자율화·상호운용성·데이터 표준화 기반의 국방 AI MUM-T 최상위 플랫폼 구축과 운용, 국가과학기술자문회의와 같은 대통령소속의 국방혁신위원회의 신설과 심의·자문 기능 강화·추가가 요구된다.

유한요소해석을 이용한 원자로용기 압력-온도 한계곡선의 평가 (Evaluation of Pressure-Temperature Limit Curve for the Safe Operation of an RFV based on 3-D Finite Element Analyses)

  • In order to operate an RPV safely it is necessary to keep the pressure-temperature (P-T) limit during the heatup and cooldown process. While the ASME Code provides the P-T limit curve for safe operation, this limit curve has been prepared under conservative assumptions In this paper the effects of conservative assumptions involved in the P-T limit curve specified in the ASME Code Sec. XI were investigated. Three different parameters the crack depth the cladding thickness and the cooling rate, were reviewed based on 3-D finite element analyses. Also the constraint effect on P-T limit curve generation was investigated based on J- T approach. It was shown that the crack depth and the constraint effect change the safe region in P-T limit curve significantly Therefore it is recommended to prepare a more precise P-T limit curve based on finite element analysis to obtain P-T limit for safe operation of an RPV.

  • It has been claimed recently that the two computational operations Move and Agree of Chomsky (2000, 2001a) should be separated into distinct and independent operations. According to this view, Move is an “operation that applies only to meet an EPP-feature of a functional category.” It is also claimed under that analysis that “a candidate for Move is simply a syntactic object with phonetic content.” The purpose of this short paper is to show that the operation Move should still be viewed as composite; hence it must have the operation Agree as one of its prerequisites. We argue that the EPP feature of T may not be analyzed as an independent feature that triggers overt displacement in syntax. Under Chomsky's (2000, 2001a) theory, displacement in syntax must require the probe-goal (P, G) association before the actual movement takes place. It is shown in this paper that in order for an element $\beta$ to raise to the [Spec, T] position, the $\varphi$-features of T must establish a (P, G) relation with those of $\beta$ prior to movement. In short, Move requires Agree, the EPP feature being dependent on the minimal $\varphi$-feature [person] of nominals.

  • This paper illustrates the pragram features of reliability evaluation on operation mode (operational planning and operating) of power system. The eighty eight relative reports and papers with seventeen kinds of reliability programs were Investigated in this paper. Two programs, PRA and ASSESS, were focused on the operation mode reliability evaluation program and the comparions of the two program features are introduced.
