In CVT vehicle, the engine speed is completely decoupled from the vehicle speed within the range from maximum transmission ratio to minimum transmission ratio. This allows the engine to operate in optimal state(e.g. best fuel economy or maximum power mode.) In this study, the CVT control algorithm for optimal operation of engine is suggested. In order to implement the real time digital control of electro-hydraulic CVT system, a software called CVTCON has been developed. CVTCON also includes the CVT operation module, (2) system test module, (3) system control module and (4) data management module. By using the CVTCON and the electro-hydraulic CVT system, two modes of experiments were carried out: constant throttle opening mode and acceleration mode. From the experimental result, it was found that the algorithm suggested in this study showed optimal operation of the CVT system.

This study shows the following results. First, the assessment items of the whole exhibition operation, workforce, counselor's ability, facility and environment were important analysis factors for exhibition recognition, quality of human operation and quality of exhibition facility and environment. Second, exhibition recognition was found to be the most significant factor that influenced exhibitor's cognitive achievement, exhibition employee operation and exhibition facility. Third, exhibitors' satisfaction simultaneously increased as exhibition recognition and employee operation quality were raised. However, exhibition facility didn't strongly influence exhibitors' satisfaction. Fourth, high exhibition recognition, employee operation and exhibition facility resulted in high cognitive achievement and exhibitor's loyalty. Fifth, exhibition recognition is a highly influential factor to mediate exhibitor's cognitive achievement and exhibitors' loyalty. It implied that exhibitors' cognitive achievement and satisfaction were significantly related to the exhibition quality factor. Moreover, it indicated the effective and efficient operational method to strengthen promotional strategy, enhance the quality of employee operation, exhibition facility and environment. Thus, the results suggest a new method to evaluate exhibitor's satisfaction in the exhibition industry.

Let D be an integral domain with quotient field K, X an indeterminate over D, ∗ a star operation on D, and Cl∗ (D) be the ∗-class group of D. The ∗w-operation on D is a star operation defined by I∗w = {x ∈ K | xJ ⊆ I for a nonzero finitely generated ideal J of D with J∗ = D}. In this paper, we study two star operations {∗} and [∗] on D[X] defined by A{∗} = ∩P∈∗w-Max(D) ADP [X] and A[∗] = (∩P∈∗w-Max(D) AD[X]P[X]) ∩ AK[X]. Among other things, we show that Cl∗(D) ≅ Cl[∗](D[X]) if and only if D is integrally closed.

Stow-net is originally spreaded with a lifting beam and a depressing beam. The net is improved by using canvas-made spreading devices by Mr. Han and his colleagues in the beginning of 1980's. The net is improved again by changing the partial shape of netting and arrangement of net pendants so as to be fitting with the actual performance of the net by Dr. Lee and his colleagues since 1988. The author studied to compare the fishing efficiency of those two kinds of nets(The former which was improve by Mr. Han is expressed as a traditional net and the latter improved again by Dr. Lee is expressed as an improved net in the present study). Twenty-one stow-netters concerned with the present study were selected among those based on the Port of Inchon, and were classified into two groups-eleven of them are a traditional net used group and ten are an improved net used group. The data on the fishing operation from August 1992 to March 1993, including the catch, the price of sell, the fishing operated times in every cruise and the fished position noticed by every stow-netter were offered by concerned stow-netters. From the data the times of operation, catch and value in every cruise were extracted and analyzed. The results obtained can be summarized as follows: 1. The times of operation in cruise were 13.7 by the traditional net used group and 12.7 by the improved net used group. 2. The mean catch per cruise showed 10.1M/T in the traditional net used group and 12.2M/T in the improved net used group, so the latter showed 21% better. 3. The mean catch per operation showed 0.7M/T in the traditional net used group and 0.9M/T in the improved net used group, so the latter showed 28% better. 4. The rate of three important species(starks, hair tail and croakers) in the total catch showed 83%, and the catch showed greater by the improved net used group at the rate of starks 141%, hair tail 110%, croakers 107%. 5. The rate of three important species in the total price showed 82%, but the price of starks which occupied the biggest in catch showed merely 5%, then the economical efficiency appeared low. 6. The mean price per stow-netter and per operation showed about 20%, greater respectively by the improved net used group and the mean price per operation by two important species(hair tail and croakers) showed greater about 30% by the improved net used group.

The objective of this study is to investigate endurance test of localization part for T-50 aircraft engine. Major localization parts of the engine (F404-STW-102) was performed using Accelerated Simulated Mission Engine Test. The purpose of this test is to evaluate of quality demonstration capability, to verify design of engine localization parts, and to improvement safety and operation rate of T-50 advanced trainer by finding out operational problems in production phase and fixing it.

Let $so(3)\tilde{\times}R^3$ be the 6-dimensional nilpotent Lie group with group operation (s, x)(t, y) = $(s+t+xy^t-yx^t,\;x+y)$. We prove that the maximal order of the holonomy groups of all infra-nilmanifolds with $so(3)\tilde{\times}R^3$-geometry is 16.

The purpose of this note is to study the relation between Heyting algebra and t-algebra which is the dual concept of BCK-algebra. We define t-algebra with binary operation ${\rhd}$ which is a generalization of the implication in the Heyting algebra, and define a bounded ness and commutativity of it, and then characterize a Heyting algebra and a Boolean algebra as a bounded commutative t-algebra X satisfying $x=(x{\rhd}y){\rhd}x$ for all $x,y{\in}X$.

The inflow of Ca$\^$2＋/ through voltage-activated T-type calcium channels (T-channels) regulates a variety of cellular functions including neuronal excitability, cardiac pacemaker activity, hormone secretion, smooth muscle contraction, and fertilization. Not only are T-channels enormously important for the normal operation of cells, they also playa critical role in pathophysiological conditions such as cardiac hypertrophy and absence epilepsy.(omitted)

Currently KERI is participating a project whose goal is to develop the Korean High-Speed Train(KHST) with maximum speed of 350kph. KERI's responsibility is the electrical system engineering that includes engineering design of an on-board computer system for diagnosis and control of train set and electrical/mechanical devices. A system engineering approach of the design is performed in order to guarantee the passenger safety and economically viable train for on-board control system construction, operation and maintenance. This paper presents the draft engineering des on-board computer system that ensures the s and reliability of KHST. The draft is focuse network interfaced distributed processing system.

심장수술에 따른 백혈구의 활성화는 여러 염증성 물질을 생성시켜 수술 후 병태생리에 깊이 관여한다. 본 연구는 심장수술 동안 백혈구의 과립성분인 myeloperoxidase의 농도 변화와 심장 및 폐에 대한 영향을 규명하기 위해 시행되었다. 심장수술 전후로 말초혈액 총 백혈구 수 및 분획세포 수와 관상정맥 혈액의 myeloperoxidase 농도 (MPO) 및 troponin-T 농도 (TnT), 그리고 폐혈관 저항을 측정하였다. 수술 직후, 호중구 수의 상승에 기인한 총 백혈구 수의 증가가 있었고 (p＜0.01), MPO 및 TnT 역시 증가하였으나 (p＜0.05), 폐혈관 저항은 감소하였다(p＜0.05). 수술 후, MPO는 TnT, 총 백혈구 수, 호중구 수, 그리고 심장수술 소요시간과 각각 양의 상관관계가 있었다(p＜0.05). 수술 후 폐혈관 저항은 총 백혈구 수 및 호중구 수와 각각 음의 상관성이 있었다(p<0.05). 본 연구의 결과들은 심장수술이 호중구로 부터 MPO 분비를 증가시키며, 유리된 MPO는 폐보다는 심장에 유해한 효과를 미칠 수 있고 호중구의 또 다른 기전이 수술 후 폐 손상에 관여할 수 있음을 시사하고 있다.
